The facility provides material for the class and is flexible with individuals. Also, the school's pricing is very competitive and beats any online course in areas of support and valued customer service. The classes are interactive, stimulating, and instructor encourages class participation. The location is easy to find and the owner is trusted. The school is very organized and communication with the traffic school is prompt and direct. Thus, your completion and input data is sent in an expedient manner to the DMV. The owner takes time to personally evaluate the needs of each attendee and works closely with them to navigate the process. On a personal note, Coach, the owner is a man of high integrity; the two days that I got to know him felt as if he was an old friend. I read the reviews before coming here and I was a bit worried coming into it, but "Coach" is really a great teacher, and by the end of the ya my views on him completely changed .This traffic school gets right to the point , sure coach may seem a bit "intense" but the man knows what he's doing . Come in on time and ready to pay attention, just when you think he forgot about you BAM in his class and BAM, he hits you with another question. Lets start by saying that the grumpy old man with a raspy voice that has ZERO customer service and seems to be bothered by answering the phone is a complete A hole. He's condescending, rude and goes off on a rant and doesn't even let you speak . When you actually get to speak , the boomer says he only takes $60 cash and he doesn't give any other info until you sign up in person. Once again this guy is something else and I am very surprised that he's still in business. The customer service is so horrible that I don't even want to step foot in his class or have him handle any important documents that are to be sent to the DMV. OK, it takes some guts to review a traffic school. Partly because nobody wants to admit that they took liberties on the road that resulted in being required to attend, and partly because... who wants to admit that they liked the experience. However, I think it's worth pointing people in the direction of something good if they can't escape going to traffic school. So, I loved this place. Yes, it is a dirty and dingy facility, but the school itself is so over the top that the worn-down facility (including it's gaudy colored lights out front) feels like it's just atmosphere for the experience. For example, when Alice (I think that was her name), a slightly eccentric woman well into her '80s, stops by to play piano on the break just because it's something that she likes to do, and everyone takes it seriously and treats her so kindly, you feel like you are anywhere but in traffic school. There's more stuff like this that goes on, but I'll let you be surprised. The instructors, including the semi-retired minister who taught our class, really know their stuff. They split the time evenly between telling you about traffic situations that can cost you both money and your life, and telling you how to avoid needless tickets (think twice before turning right on a red where there is photo-enforcement at the intersection). I could say a lot more about it, but suffice it to say that if I ever have to go back to traffic school (and I'm NOT planning on it), this is without question the place I would go. read more

I was considering going to this traffic school with all the 5 stars I was hoping for sure I'd found a place I could attend for my first time . First ticket so I had many questions. I called a couple times and left voicemails while I would get calls back from I believe was the owner back leaving voicemails . Finally I was able to get a hold of someone who ever it was he very rude and yelled at me saying "Your telling me we're playing phone tag"!. After I jokingly told him that we kept missing each other calls . He then continued to be rude also asking me what I wanted !? That's all it took to write this review . I honestly was kind of skeptical when I read previous reviews and they seemed as though they'd been copied from one site to the next and all basically read the same. I'm here to say, that I was pleasantly surprised with this school. The staff genuinely care about the students, the fee is beyond reasonable and while the building could use some well deserved TLC, they run a quality program and because they don't charge an exorbitant amount for the school well things are the way they are. During my class, the owner called the instructor and informed him that there was a woman coming in late because apparently her class from another company was cancelled and she was going to admit her late and work with her after class to ensure that she was able to get credit for going. Where another company failed someone, they stepped up and helped her out. The schedule at the school is constant and they run classes even if there's only 1 person there. Classes are also available on Holidays, which is a big bonus and you can split classes across two days if you can't make it in one stretch. It was an amazing experience, I hope that I don't ever have to repeat it, however I'm glad there's a company that puts it's students first and is willing to help people when they need it. Attending this school has been an awesome experience. My first impression with Coach was negative because talking to him for the first, he sounded so arrogant and obnoxious. However, I realized Coach is so knowledgeable and funny at the same time. He discussed his driving experiences as a learning experience for students. Everything he has gone through, I thought it was me in my early years. The great lesson about discussing all his violations is he also provided ways how to deal or contest them in court. His humor was so amazing because he knows how to deal with each student by not being being offensive but very respectful at the same time. I was given a name on the first night, then baptized again with another the next day. I was so focus on him because he was easy to understand and I cannot stop laughing because he is so funny. I recommend this traffic school because you're getting a person who is do passionate of what he does and also care for his students at same time. As he handed me my paperwork last he said, "I'll see you in two years." I said, "I hope not." But in my mind though, I'm telling myself I'll probably come back just to listen and learn from him. read more

Finished and Completed driving school today. It has been a long while that I have been to D.S. So I was a bit nervous about if I would remember CA Rules of the Road. The Instructor Mr. Darryl Mundy "Coach" was great! He is very knowledgeable & informative. I received a lot of information. Things I never knew and or a lot I've forgotten. I really liked the class. He is strict yet very knowledgeable & straightforward, but as long as you follow instructions, pay attention, listen and are respectful. The time spent learning or relearning going to Falvey School will be worth it because driving is a "Privilege, Not a right." For the respect and safety of yourself, and sharing the road with others. The Falvey Traffic School is pretty good. I got a good review of traffic laws and driving safety. The instructor was well versed in his subject, and pretty good at telling jokes. The course material was well done. They even provide a copy of the Driver's Handbook that is available from the DMV and paper and pencil for notes. The course was informal, but kept on topic when some students started to tell of their experiences or ideas in a long winded or free associative way. Questions were encouraged, and well answered. If the instructor did not know an answer he would tell us his best guess, or say that he did not know. We were told to make ourselves comfortable. The business is in an older strip mall, but it was clean and decent. Dingy, but not dirty. Most, if not all of the business units were occupied. There are several places to eat lunch in the complex, or within a few blocks in any direction. The instructor gave some good tips on places to eat. We got 2 fifteen minute breaks and an hour lunch. We would watch a video or two before the breaks and lunch. The course was well paced. I was not bored, or restless throughout the entire day. I recommend this traffic school to other scofflaws. I definitely got my $35(cash only, they're not stupid) worth from the class. I would not hesitate to go again if I get caught after the 18 month ineligibility time period. read more

The man who answered the phone came off as rude and signing up for the class is inconvenient for day workers, you physically have to go to the school to sign up for a class. Anyway, I took an online class instead. Convenient, inexpensive, and they take debit/credit cards. I called this business on Friday, May 3 for information on the traffic school. I left a message with the supposedly answering service. He calls me right back, same voice as his answering service rep. He was rude when asking me questions, I still remained calm since I really need to take this course before the court due date. I showed up Saturday morning. He treated me like a criminal. This instructor does not have respect for his customers. He acts as if he is privileged and his customers are below him. I did not stay to take the class. But I would not recommend this traffic school. The courts should really look into these places that provide traffic courses. He should not be in business. read more
