Tickets for the park are moderately priced but we found that it was cheaper to buy them at the hotel we were staying at. You do need to pay for parking as well, which I didn't love, but understand. Splash pads open up earlier than pools so this place was a hit. I would say the splash pad is aimed for ages 1-5. Any age older might get really bored. The water is a spray ground with two sprinkling trees. The park was kind of hidden between houses. You can definitely miss it to the drive way in. Google maps has the entry marked incorrectly. There is a building you can rent for parties and two covered picnic table areas to seat outdoor parties. No mature trees yet. Tree shade was very few. The play ground is very spacious and open. I would say the playground is aimed for ages 5-10. Overall I think this park is a cool addition for the neighborhood. Bring little kids out here....but be mindful: BIG kids might get bored. 3 stars for esthetically pretty and function. Lost a couple stars because it didn't hit all the fun for my older kids and the water pad wasn't a full splash of fun.

But whether I called in as an agent or a customer, I was not spoken to with any respect until things escalate. 2 times this happened to me in the last 2 months. The Field Supervisor and the Customer Service 'Senior' Supervisor were the only two with some common sense on how customer service works. I was expecting them to back their rude employees but they handled it very professionally. My experiences at the beginning could have been better though. It's almost like the tone is set no matter what you call in for, they'll just start the conversation with a bad attitude. Do better.

Recently I've been renting the south ballpark for youth softball practices. It's well maintained, is appropriately priced per hour and has a plethora of (nearby) parking. You can reserve ball fields through the Coralville Rec online, via a form. (Spring softball fields are insanely hard to come by and require a draft.) ST Morrison Park is a great option for softball practice, a birthday party or just a trip to the park!

It's located off the back of the police station and community center and has tons of fields, ponds and shelters for whatever you're in the mood for. The Coralville water park is also attached and is a great spot to go chillax while the kids enjoy an amenity that too often requires a long drive. In addition to the great gathering areas, they have tennis courts, volleyball courts and number of baseball diamonds for use whenever. A great place to get outside and enjoy an afternoon regardless of what your interests!
