All of the providers in this office (dr. Casey lien, Dr. Steven bloom, Dr. Megan Gruber, Dr. heather thompson) make parenting and my own health feel so much easier and supported. They are on top of my health and my kids, they go to the root problem before offering pills (hard to find that) and they care about my kids and myself and our health. They evaluate our whole selves (family history, nutrition, physical exercise, and our biology). I have always gotten right in and labs or scans done if needed right away. I count my blessings every night and they are in them. Thank you with all my heart. After growing up and seeing doctors feed loved one opioids and being effected by it, I cannot express my gratitude enough to them for their morals and methods. thank you team!! read more

The urgent care, telehealth and the lab have always been very good in my experience. Fast, caring and effective.

Argh... I'm frustrated that I have to write a negative review. I write positive and negative reviews, so I don't only come here to Yelp when I need to vent. Unfortunately, I'm having to write this review because I'm the one holding the bag at the end of the day with x-ray charges. As I was just told when speaking to someone in the accounting office, Mt. Baker Imaging had their x-ray machines "hacked" back in January 2025, which is why I was directed to go to the hospital to have my x-rays done. I was told that I wasn't the only one impacted by this since others were being sent to other facilities at that time. I had the understanding that since I was going to an urgent care facility that I would be billed as such. Because I was sent to a hospital for my x-rays I was billed by the hospital at hospital rates. I'm now having to pay $436 instead of a $15 co-pay. I called Family Care Network and what was I told? "Unfortunately, you'll have to deal with the hospital because all we can see is what we've billed you for and we've already been paid for that." Where is the accountability here? It could have been as simple as informing customers that they aren't able to do x-rays and that if you end up needing one you may have to go to another facility and incur additional charges. read more

After a vicious cat bite, I rushed here to get it cleaned out and get medicine if needed. There was hardly anyone in the waiting area and it cleared out. I waited and waited, much too long. No one looked at the bite to determine how bad it was. It was very deep puncture wounds. Finally, I called my son in law, a doctor and discussed it with him. I left, telling the receptionist that I was leaving and it was too late to clean out the wounds. I am treating myself with antibiotics, hoping I don't get sepsis or other infection. They failed me. read more

Had such great care from Abby Goss, PA-C, that I had to share. She is professional and caring, and it felt so awesome to have such kindness emanating from her when I was in such pain. They were very busy but, the place was very clean and we got in much quicker than the wait time quoted. Doctors and nurses were excellent.

I am grateful to the staff at the Urgent Care clinic! Everyone there was kind, quick, and took care of me in a compassionate way.

I came here for a kidney infection that was causing me significant physical pain. While both the receptionist and nurses were very kind, I had a really negative experience with Dr. John Dunn. After waiting 2.5 hours I got to speak to a doctor. He didn't ask me if I was in pain, but still said "you aren't in enough pain for me to be concerned". When I described my kidney issues, he briefly inspected my side, but ran no tests and asked very few questions. When he saw the scar on my back from an old surgery, he began to insist that it was a problem with my back and asked me if I had tried stretching. When I told him I have never had any issues with my back post-surgery, and yes, I had tried stretching, he seemed to get annoyed at me. I ended up leaving without any answers, and spent the next day in the emergency room for a kidney infection. While all the rest of the staff was very kind and patient, I felt completely ignored, belittled, and talked down to by the doctor. read more

This urgent clinic only sees established patients from the Family Care Network (FCN) clinics. My primary care physician belongs to Family Health Associates, which is part of the FCN. I have only used the Urgent Care Center only a couple of times, including today (Saturday (11/19/2016). Because it's only available to FCN patients, wait time seems reasonable. They show an estimated wait time online. Before going to the clinic, the wait time was 15 minutes. When I got there, it had been changed to 30 minutes, but the nurse took me into the exam room almost immediately after I checked in. After the nurse left the room, I probably waited for about 10~15 minutes before the doctor showed up. The wait was not bad at all. I was seen by Dr. Karen O'Keef today. I couldn't be happier with her service. She was not rushed at all. She was very professional and caring. I hope to stay out of any medical establishments as much as I can, but when I need to be seen by a doctor after hours, I know where to go. My experience here was good. I got there early, and was 3rd or 4th in line. I was seen promptly and on my way back home within 90minutes. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who is already a patient within FCN! read more

I was in and out so quick! The admin staff was perfectly efficient and friendly on the way in out. I hardly had to to wait either in the waiting room or the doctor's office. The doctor was super efficient and empathic as well. My only problem was a non-related pharmacy, but he admin staff were super helpful for helping find a solution over the phone even when the problem was the pharmacy's. Just spent 2.5 hours at this "Urgent Care" clinic in Bellingham, after their website indicated only a 15-minute wait. Finally walked out after filling out reams of paperwork (12 PAGES!) and then waiting over half an hour in a private room for a doctor to come in . . . after waiting another 10 minutes for medical assistant to come in to begin my very simple procedure (ear irrigation for wax build-up) I walked out, but not before voicing my displeasure to reception area staff (showed up at 3 PM and still not attended to by 5:30 PM). No other patients in waiting room, but I was told there were patients in the back having various procedures done? My gripe is that they put me in a room in the clinic and then ignored me for over a half hour . . . I had to come out and ask why it was taking so long. A man who came in after me was treated and left before I was even seen. DO NOT BELIEVE THE WAITING TIMES WHICH ARE ON THEIR WEBSITE!! Another piece of advice: NEVER GO TO AN "URGENT CARE"/WALK-IN CLINIC UNLESS YOU ARE ON THE VERGE OF DEATH . . . I have had similar experiences with previous "Urgent Care" clinics I have tried. Make an appt. with your own family doctor instead if you can possibly wait . . . you will avoid filling out pages and pages of medical information about yourself (took me almost a half-hour just to do this) and you will also avoid the long wait to be seen (though in my case, never seen). In summary, I wasted my entire afternoon at this clinic (for no care) and I would urge you to avoid it for any urgent care needs. read more

Wow, what a great experience!! Best blood draw I have ever had. I'm typically very uncomfortable with needles, but the phlebotomist did a perfect stick and I hardly felt a thing. He was very polite and pleasant, and I didn't have to wait at all either! I am new to the area and was really nervous about going to a new place, but he put me right at ease. This facility would not see my wife because they said she was not in network even though we have medical insurance. Gave us a list of other options that was out of date. Had to go to 2 places because the first one was closed. Unbelievable...whatever happened to "First do no harm"? read more

The customer service is horrible here. Also, no privacy...I walked into a room where blood was being drawn, no curtain or notice that I'd be walking into this. The phlebotomist had no bedside manner...I said "Wow, no privacy here" or something and he rudely said " just sign in and go sit in the waiting room". It wasn't like I had a negative tone or anything...it was uncomfortable walking into this without warning. People having blood drawn are often in serious health situations or are nervous to have this procedure..the environment should be welcoming and as cheerful as possible! No cheer here. Also, I called 3x for blood results to be sent to me. three different people said they would mail to me. It's been 8 days now and I haven't received my results. I know there's a patient portal but I keep my paper results. Very disappointing place. read more

Poor customer service. Worse than emergency room. Office staff will not notify patient's of excessive wait times unless they are pressed. Their is a resolving door policy for those regulars who know they can get up and leave. Truly poor all the way around. read more
