First off, know that this review is open and honest due to the overabundance of stays my mother has…read moreracked up over the years. With that being said, let's get it cracking. 1. The main entrance parking lot in itself although spacious, it tends to be full all the time. The handicap parking is sparse. they could stand to create more for people who have difficulties in walking or are wheelchair bound. The emergency parking lot is the biggest disappointment. There are only 3 handicap spaces and it is the smallest lot on the grounds. They need to make that lot bigger, especially since this lot has the most continuous traffic. 2. This hospital is clean and the layout is actually pretty simple and easy to manuver. You can easily find your way around. There are only 4 floors in this hospital, 1 cafteria, 1 coffee bar, 1 gift shop and one cancer treatment wing. They also have a donation shop called " Mario's closet" that has wigs and hats, make up and other trinkets and items for cancer patients. 3. The staff on the surface are friendly, quick to serve.and always lend help when needed. This is where the review has to sway differently because because each dr, nurse and employee of the hospital is personal and varies depending on the person. All nurses that I have spoken to are very nice, some are bubbly, others are simply nice. All have been helpful. There have been a few that go above the call of nursehood. Dr. Scarborough, Dr. Harms, Eddie the ER/RN, and a slew of nurses, and assistants have treated my mom like the princess she is. I wish I knew every name, but there are too many to keep track. 3. The cafeteria is spacious, kept sufficiently clean and the seating is comfortable. The food choices during the week are ok, not great, but enough to sustain life. The weekend however is so disappointing. First of all, the breakfast they serve is usually powdered eggs, bacon strips, sausage and biscuits and gravy. This may sound good, and during the week it may be, but on Sat and sun, the bacon will sit under heat lights until they are fried pencils and the sausage can grow legs and walk..and the eggs will be like foam. The worst part is you will be charged for each individual fried pencil and walking sausage at .89 cents and .79 cents. They do have a grill option for freshly made food, however the hours of operation are very weird and rare. And again, you will have a cow when you are charged $3.89 for a cheeseburger that is small enough to fit in one hand. Yep, the food is pricey and a lot of times you will have to ask how much something is, because most of the prices are not listed to which this works in their favor. Beware..this hospital food is a wallet drain. I know this review is long, but overall this hospital is ok. They do a fairly decent job of caring for their patients. Some things I would change, some I've learned to live with. Overall, this hospital is ok. They have to be for me to trust them with my mom

From Admissions to the nurses, to the pharmacy and the Doctor, they were ALL amazing!! The Doctor also was very knowledgeable, he understood my rarely dx'd condition without my having to explain what it was. The surgeon also understood my condition and made a desicion for my health based on her knowledge. I was so grateful to be treated here by so many awesome humans. So thank you from the bottom of this Texas girl's heart!!

I've been coming to Dr. Sosinski of IMG since 1983 when I moved to Lawrence. He's served me so well over this time. As a family practitioner he strikes me as an exceptionally intelligent physician that listens well, has few words, but is compassionate and caring for his patients. About ten years ago they moved to a new facility and it's state of the art and includes its own pharmacy plus offices for several other physicians that are part of the group. Most of them have also been with the firm well over 20 years. The Yelp location currently listed is not correct so here's a link where you can find them: https://imgportal.lmh.org/portal/ If someone was moving to town with a family in tow and was looking for a family physician I would not hesitate a single second to recommend this business. I haven't always had great experiences with the medical community, but this physician and this organization are an exception.

He tried to opt out of seeing me from the moment he laid eyes on me because supposedly I was out of town. When do doctors not want to see patients simply because they do not live in their city but 20 miles away and this was only one of many excuses. He neglected to give me any meds for an ear infection he diagnosed after comparing both my ears. He did not ask to see my diabetic feet even though I told him about a sore on my toe. He did not want to look at the problems with my back, legs, or neck. And I was diagnosed from the hospital with decaying of the 6th vertebra of which he was informed. Is there anything this doctor does want to treat? I will do him a huge favor and look for a better doctor who will be happy to have my business.
