Did some quick searching and found some retail spots in nearby Brawley, a growing community just North of the area we were in. Great location. It looks like the Dollar Tree took over an older spot which had been a grocery store before. Plenty of space, really high ceilings, etc. The store was well stocked and well organized, too. We had no issues finding several items to buy for that day and for our return trip home to Arizona. The clerk was really nice and asked us where we from and even wished us a safe trip home. Love those kinds of personal touches. Definitely adding this location to our list of stops whenever we are in the area. .

They have all the different sections that you'd see in similar stores. I was looking for a light jacket in the sportswear section. They had a few but not exactly what I wanted. I would definitely go back when I could take longer to look around. They do have some nice clothes and goods that I would like to check out. Too bad there wasn't a TJ Maxx here. I ended up buying Ole Henriksen makeup wipes and glam glow lip treatment. Everything I got was on clearance. My daughter got some clothes. Store was organized and the cashier was super nice and friendly. I may come back if I decide to take a road trip. Definitely worth coming here. They seem to have more in stock in this store compared to other locations I have been to. Plenty of parking up front as well!

I could see in their eyes that they had a genuine desire to help me. I stopped in to buy myself a souvenir hat from El Centro, and to browse about to see if they had anything useful for my car. The hat selection was very limited. Mostly Ball caps, and those beanies closely resembling the Old Navy watch caps. They also had a bucket hat, but it's pastel color wasn't for me. i was hopping to find a golf hat. I ended up buying a ball cap with a US flag on it and a phone holder that attaches to the mirror. This will be useful for times when I use my phone as a GPS or watching movies when parked. The gal at the checkout spoke English and checked me out quickly and accurately. I don't think she cared about me coming to Ross to buy a souvenir hat. Which I felt was a dollar more than I anticipated. The did have a better selection of men's ballcaps than Walmart had. And a far better deal on the phone holder. I probably would have shopped around a bit longer but I started getting hungry. When a i couldn't find white Fruit of the Loom briefs. I decided not to seek help with the staff since twice before I was unsuccessful at getting the help I needed, so I decided to go to Del Taco for lunch. Then the security started pulling people from…read morebehind me speaking to them in Spanish and telling them that they could use self check out on the other side and then when I kept saying, excuse me, excuse me in English, asking if we could pay over there since he was pulling people from behind me to go to self check out he didn't answer and then another employee told me. Yes you can pay over there I paid and then as I was leaving the security guard wanted to speak to me in English and asked me for my receipt and then dug in my bag to look at the items and pull one out. never in my life have I ever experienced this. Come on El Central Ross you need to do better.

Super, super cheap stuff literally in piles everywhere that you have to rifle through but usually find the most unique pieces if you're patient and enduring. At this location it was $1 per item- so my boyfriend and I found 10 pieces of clothing, for a grand total of $10! Amazing! The outlet was very big and had some decent options. The retail center has standard and many duplicates of things but can be helpful if you're just looking to grab something for cheap like a belt or other. This is a great Goodwill store overall in a nice area with lots of food options nearby if you wanted to make a half day of it.
