This program provides services and necessities for those at risk of and/or are homeless. Kay Kay's professionalism and sincere willingness to help others inspired me to want to apply to for Haymarket Center myself. To see such a brilliant idea propped up at a CTA station is brilliant because it provides help at a highly trafficked area. Moreover, the services provide needs and aid to those who need it the most. Kay Kay, my name is Cruz Aaron C. Thank you for your commitment to making Chicago a better community, and thank you for being so genuine. Please let your supervisors know I will be applying this week to the Mobile Outreach Supervisor Role that's available. I hope to work alongside with you soon! Gratefully Inspired, Aaron

I had an interview with Haymarket Center for their case-aide/ case-manager position, or so I…read morethought I had an interview. Seeing their listing on Indeed.com made my day because as a recent college graduate who just came off of an internship, I felt very confident in my abilities to perform the duties which mirrored the duties at my internship site as a substance abuse counseling intern. This interview was set 4-days out with a confirmation by human resources employee Niama Nash which added to my anticipation to meet with the treatment center. After the interview date was set, I found that Haymarket Center was no more than 3 miles from my apartment and had CTA train access which was CTA Morgan. And another thing that boggled my mind was that I bike the main street where it sits. Talk about feeling like a winner, but little did I know. Getting to Haymarket was as simple as I thought it was. It was no more than 200 meters from CTA Morgan, a walk down N Morgan St and a left on W Washington Blvd. It was encouraged in the confirmation email to arrive 15-30 minutes before the scheduled interview time which I arrived 20 minutes prior to the time. The guy at the front desk had me sign in then directed me to a seating area that seemed so isolating. I waited until it was my interview time patiently with no updates or notifications of whom I was supposed to see, which according to the confirmation the interviewer was Corinna House. At that point, I started thinking how long I would wait because clearly they had forgot about me. I figured I would give it 15-20 minutes then head to the front desk to sign out which I did. I was highly disappointed with this experience, but it does not hinder me from applying elsewhere. It only fuels me to better myself because this treatment center obviously did not care about me or my time. You would think that someone that probably possesses a graduate degree would have the competency to inform me that there have been alterations to the interview time or date, but apparently not. I do feel that I am worth some sort of confirmation. Part of me did not want to leave this review, but I started to feel as though it is a problem that needed to be addressed, so why not let my voice be heard because it just may happen to others. I updated my resume, dressed professionally, spent my own money and time for this? If this is the type of unprofessionalism I would have delt with working for Haymarket Center then they can keep the job opening. Thomas G

Furthermore the Director Margo Brooks can not be given enough credit for the way she ensures a place that is conducive to the healing taking place and the humanizing of folks that more often then not have been let down by less Impressive institutions. Likewise can be said for Dr.Showalter and fantastic nursing staff. I owe my life and sanity to these great people. And that is to say nothing of the 5 star nursing staff. God bless these fine upstanding people and the hard and often thankless job they do. So this comes from the bottom of my heart and I'm sure I speak for many others when finally giving you the just thanks you so rightfully deserve now. If ever I needed to recommend anyone to get treatment I always have an extra CAP business card in my wallet, they are that good and so much better at what they do from others in their field. That is a firsthand truth.

I first began working with Dr. Alex at the Pazio institute 2-3 years ago. I live in San Diego and…read morewas introduced to Dr. Alex through mutual friends. Though the Pazio institute is in Chicago I've never had a problem getting the care I need from so far away. I began care because of a history of slight energy problems, memory issues, a history of many concussions (likely linked with the aforementioned) and a desire to optimize my health. That being said I am and was a very active healthy person with a diet that was super dialed in. I'm also a doctor in a health field so I have a good background to work from. I felt very comfortable choosing Dr. Alex for this reason. There are so many things That have impressed me about The Pazio Institute including: the diverse and expansive background Dr. Alex has in all realms of health, the wholistic foundation of the office, the helpful/knowledgeable staff, and Dr. Alex's warm personality and sincere interest in helping his clients. He truly is an incredible human being and doctor! The results of my health optimization journey so far have included: chelating out heavy metals (we discovered I had high levels of lead), I've optimized my supplements to make sure I'm getting all the nutrients I need and not storing problematic things I don't need (We discovered a couple of mild/common genetic anomalies that can be easily managed if monitored), and I did a mental acuity test to see if all area of my brain are functioning properly after having several concussions in my life. All of the care has resulted in me having more energy, better memory, and I don't have to worry about a high chance of getting Alzheimer's now.
