So after some research I saw that the cast of Hadestown were also doing a one night only play at the Union Civic Center in Greeley Colorado. Tickets were cheaper and I could also get closer seating for the price. I am really glad I did because the venue was more intimate. It wasn't as deep as the Buell, so even if you got "nose bleed" seats here it would be about half way back at the Buell theater. The stage is a little smaller but I kinda liked that part of it. The only problem I had is they have some bottleneck issues. You couldn't even get out of the bathroom and back to your seat before the show started after intermission. Also getting out of the building afterwards was quite hard and slow. Besides that I thought this was a wonderful venue to catch a play and worth the drive to Greeley from Denver. I will be seeing more plays here in the future.

I have had some of the best times seeing a concert or comedy show at this place. Finding your way…read morearound is super easy and there is always someone who can assist. Love this place! I will admit that sometimes the acoustics are not the greatest, but then it's not some state of the art concert hall like in the big cities. I simply love the fact that cultural activities are made available to us in our small town.

Edgewater Civic Center is where all happens for a very small town outside North of Denver…read more IMPRESSIVE, the entire building and functions e.g. electric, hot water, all building maintenance is Powered by SOLAR! The Building is Load with functions: There is a large paddle ball, basket ball, wheel chair basket ball professionals, conference room which also subs as a Court Room twice monthly. And!! Upstairs is a GREAT GYM, running track, and all imaginable available workout machines, including a Training Coach, a contract Training Coach. The Front Desk employees are eager to help and are very friendly. And there are plenty of full bathrooms downstairs along with a plethora of showered bathrooms upstairs, including mat & Chair Yoga for Moms, Dads and children, there is also a childrens' (mostly darling little girls) dance class. Extra WorkOut rooms all encased in class. To view the beautiful Blue Colorado skies, including a matted pair of Peregrin Falcons who fledged this summer, many different Hawks and a few Eagles. Last two items, the Civic center is home to Edgewater Police Department with a fantastic Chief, and there is a Jeffco Library, located at 1800 Harlan Street & 20th. After working out, one might enjoy the Public Market, with many shops and foodie favorites. Close by are the Sheridan stores and Restaurants, along with Target and King Soopers, running or walking trail along Sloans lake; PLUS all the Parks where you will find many walking their dogs, playing outdoor Basket Ball, Soccer, greeting other dog lovers and so much more. Seems very efficient for smaller towns and cities to share costs like this. The gym was very reasonably priced. A tad bit too far from my neighborhood, but if you live in the area, it's worth looking into. I was looking for magazines for a vision board project so I asked the library if they had any they were throwing out. They just did some recycling, darn it, but took my name and number for the next time. Sure enough, they did call and give me a stack of magazines, so that was nice of them! Found about this place as I was getting my taxes done with DABC (Denver Asset Building Coalition).

Englewood was once a clean and quiet area. Now, everywhere you turn there are huge apartment…read morebuildings going up. Traffic and parking is ridiculous whether you live here or want to do business here. There is a Movement 5280 is here which caters to the homeless. They say they are helping them but it's really just handouts. So, the homeless situation is getting out of hand. People changing their clothes in our alleys, open use of drugs, filth left behind. People with bedspreads wrapped around them are walking down residential streets when parents are picking up their small children at schools and daycares. The fun restaurants on Broadway aren't so fun anymore because of the homeless people messing up the streets with graffiti and leaving whiskey bottles and filth everywhere. It's embarrassing to invite friends there. Small businesses are actually being driven out because the City would rather see apartment development. The city is going downhill. Dirty & unsafe.

I was sitting on my front porch at night and my dog was in the front yard. Wandering just down the street and four cop cars pull up. Unbelievable. You think they'd have something better to do. Our daughter has been in the "Nido" (infant) room for about two months and has had an outstanding experience. Her teachers are experienced, warm, and caring, and she breaks out into big smiles when she sees them. From art projects to summer "splash" days to wagon rides, there are always thoughtful activities for the little ones. Best of all, the school is on the smaller side and truly has a family feel. We feel lucky to have found H&H!

The staff is competent and caring and the facility is a wonderful place for little ones to learn. I love how much time they spend outside and the positive relationships my son has built with his teachers and classmates. We are grateful to Susan and the rest of the staff!
