Just moved on from Austin. Wife was looking for a new nail salon. Driving by it doesn't look like much but go in and these two guys have been here for 14 years. I had a pedicure. Wife, mani and pedi. I don't put alot of stock typically in yelp reviews as most people either embellish or under state the reality as my experiences typically are opposite of what most people say. However this experience made me download and create a user is as I couldn't go without bragging on these guys. This is only place I use in Cleburne anymore. Another salon in town has employees yelling and arguing in their native language. A second salon's nail technician was very rude. I love Fancy Nails. Peter always does an awesome job. He tries his best to get me in when I need to. If he can't he often calls me if something changes. I never see them use any tools that don't come directly from sterilizer. He is a very hard worker. Kevin comes across grumpy I know. I think the language barrier is the problem. He is actually a nice guy with dry sense of humor. He does awesome job waxing eyebrows. Give these hard working guys a try! read more

We recently went to fancy nails this may, It was my younger sisters birthday and I was taking her to get her nails done to cheer her up. It was also for prom that was coming up in a couple days so I wanted her to have a fun experience. The two men working there were SO rude. He jerked her around and kept grabbing her arms and slamming her to the table when the chair wouldn't go any further up. He didn't listen to how she wanted her nails and did a horrible sloppy job. It didn't come out even close to what she asked for. They were uneven and terrible. He made her day so much worse and she was so upset when she got back into the car. I will never bring my business there again, nor do I recommend it to anyone. read more

Terrible! I went here a few weeks ago, and it was a horrific experience, I regret not going to my normal lady (I was out of town, my normal lady is in Grand Prairie). The man who did my nails was RUDE and too rough. So rough that he made me bleed. When I began to bleed, he didn't know what to do. He just looked at me, and said, "oops." I said to him that three of my nails were crooked (I got acrylics), and asked if he could fix them. His response was, "I know what I'm doing, let me do it." The EXACT nails I told him were crooked, fell off within 2 days. My usual acrylic nails last 3 weeks. I was outraged, I paid $30 just for three of my nails to break off within 2 days. After about 4 days of having the nails (or at least 7 of them) my thumb nail split in half when I tried to pick up a bag and left me bleeding for an hour. Overall, it was absolutely terrible and I hope no one has to go through what I did. I wish I could give this place absolutely no stars. read more

Worst service ever I asked the main nail guy a price I was polite and said thank you as I walked off he said don't go back that there wasn't any service for me. Just for asking a price smh wasn't planing on going back anyway but he was rude . I should've looked at reviews before walking in . Warning do not go to this shop!!! Besides the unsanitary practices they use (drop stuff on floor and still use it, not sanitize tools used on pedicures between uses) the owner Kevin is the rudest, roughest, most disrespectful business owner I have ever come across in my entire life!!! He refuses to listen on how I wanted my nails done and hurt me really bad during the 15 minutes I was in his chair. When I complained and said you are hurting me, he told me to leave his shop!!! If all this isn't bad enough, my mother has been a long time customer over 2 years now and when she called to make an appointment recently she stated she only wanted a manicure not a pedicure this time because she was running short on time Kevin then stated well don't ever come back here again, I don't need customers like you!!!! read more

It's a great place but you do have to make an appointment. Peter and Kevin take pride in their craft and do a great job. I can go to walk-in places and I'm out in 40 minutes, but not at Fancy Nails. It takes longer because they are doing quality work! The pedicures are top notch and my gel manicures last MUCH longer than any other place that I used in the past. read more

NEVER EVER go to Fancy Nails in Cleburne!! I have gone to them off and on for years. They've ALWAYS been so VERY rude, just their personality. Me and Shan Sewell have tolerated it because they're good at nails. Today, we make an appointment for 5:30. Peter calls me immediately back to say they cannot get to me until 7:30. He says they'll stay late for me and everything. Okay, so we drive up there. We walk in and they're the USUAL RUDENESS!! We're used to it. After having us wait about 10 minutes, Kevin says I had 2 previous appointments and never showed. First of all, I never remember that at all. Still they take walk-ins, appointments are not necessary. I said I'm sorry, I don't recall. I have been sick with pneumonia and such. So, he says "I don't do your nails tonight". Uh excuse me!! I asked did you know you wasn't going to do my nails? He says yes, but he didn't answer the phone. So, I ask his partner Peter and he says yes he knew, but he had no time to call me back. I will tell everyone how TERRIBLE their service is and how RUDE they are. They totally did this to "mess" with me. It was NOT by accident they decided to not do them. When they called me back and told me to come after hours at 7:30, they knew right then they were not going to do it. That is the RUDEST thing ever. Even if I did miss an appointment, which I do not recall, you're a business for nails NOT a doctor's appointment or something. You talk walk-ins for goodness sakes!! read more

This is the worst place I have ever been to I'm 30 years old I've been doing my nails since I was 15 (should tell you something) I paid $75 For a full set I only wanted a fill but "Kevin says he's the owner" demanded I got a new set and within 48 hours one by one every nail on my right hand broke!! They looked beautiful but the quality was shitty THE WORSE I'VE EVER HAD!!!!! I'm only giving them 1 star because he told me merry Christmas:) when I left!!! read more

We just moved to Cleburne this past fall. I have been going to Fancy Nails since then. I have never been treated badly and Peter has been nothing but pleasant and courteous to me. His pedicures are wonderful. I'd recommend Fancy Nails to anyone. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy! I went to this location probably 6 months back ONLY because my normal lady was out of town. I left that day with crooked nails and once my nails came if they were yellow underneath. so i hasn't gone back u til today, i needed something to do to kill time & my normal lady is in burleson and i only wanted to toe nails painted today. I walked in at 6:00, one lady was in a chair getting her toes done. Another guy was sitting at his station on his phone and i got asked very rudely "what do you need" I told both of them i needed my toes just painted and the guy who was doing nails responded with "We are busy until closing time" (closing time is 7) i looked at him and said "okay" and sat down hoping that the guy on his phone would do them real quick. As soon as i sat down the guy doing nails looked at me and said "so that means leave" ... VERY rude staff and LAZY staff. After this second time, I will NEVER be back. read more

Not a good place at all. The two guys both have to work on the same person at the same time and can multi task and claim they are book up, when there is only one customer in the chair (one on her hands and one working on her toes) and can not schedule you in because they are over booked, if you come.
