Okay, so plan B turned out really well, and overall I am happy with my experience. They have been in the same location for 20 years, and they are extremely clean. Most times I'll notice dust or cobwebs in the corners at most salons I go to, but they were so clean. I even asked about their pedicure procedures and how they sanitized, so I know I'll get one there one day. This definitely is a mom and pop shop that stays busy because of their regulars, and they know your name, which is refreshing when going to a nail salon. I still have clear polish left on my skin, my nails are bumpy and streaky, and the white polish looks uneven. I've gotten white nails before many times, and they've never looked like this. The polish has already chipped in multiple places, and some sides of the nails barely even have polish on them. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because the pedicure service was wonderful, but the manicure quality was unfortunately less than mediocre.

Unfortunately, over time, the quality of service has significantly declined. On multiple occasions, my acrylic overlay was not fully cured, and once, the overlay started peeling off my nail. The same issue occurred with my toes, where the gel polish wasn't fully cured. Although they tried to fix it, the problems persisted. Most recently, my acrylic overlay began lifting again, and instead of properly fixing it, the technician filed down my natural nail and applied gel on top, claiming it would help. Unfortunately, this only resulted in my nail breaking -- and it was a nail I had been growing out for a long time. My nails take a long time to grow, so I was very upset by this. To make matters worse, they also over-filed my nails to the point where I now experience pain and am unable to get them done. After several calls to inform them of my issues, they did attempt to make repairs, but the solutions didn't resolve the problems, and it became repetitive to keep asking for fixes. I also want to mention that after I raised concerns, the staff didn't seem happy about the feedback, which made me uncomfortable. This negatively impacted my overall experience. I spoke with the owner a couple of times, and while she encouraged me to return and give them another chance, I've reached the point where I feel it's no longer worth it. This last visit was the final straw. I even told the technician that if they needed to take a different approach to ensure my nails would last, they should have communicated that with me. After all, they are the professionals. Until they address their staff issues and improve their service consistency, I will not be returning.

I signed in after requesting a full set and pedicure. All of the chairs where comfortable, pleasant smells... no overpowering smell of acrylic or chemicals. Just a very light fragrances. Which after a stressful day at work was appreciated. I didn't get a major pedicure like I would normally do because I wanted to see how well they did with a traditional pedicure. They did fantastic. While I was receiving my pedicure I did get my full set put on at the same time which was convenient and receive a massage. All while having a nice firm pillow placed in my lap for more comfort... yes they provide you with comfort pillows... honey.... I'm into different colors and designs and they where accommodating. I did not go too far because I had to get a feel my nail tech. Ellie was great. She is personable, sweet, does really nice designs and is willing to free form if you ask her. Oh and if you need your eyebrows done please ask for her. She takes her time, and will have you looking like a new person... I will be going back for the specialty pedicure and more outrageous nail art and keep you posted on how the nails last... if they chip or break etc... but right now I have nothing but great things to say.

Within a single day my gel manicure was already lifting at the cuticle. Within a week, chipping and lifting on multiple nails. This was a gel manicure so I expected it to last much longer. She really rushed the manicure and massage was just rubbing oil on, this is typically the difference between a full set and mani. I don't have time to constantly run back and forth to the nail salon so this is just irritating. I'm not sure if the product they're using isn't good quality any more or what it is but we had 3 different colors so it isn't just one product lacking. Both of my daughters normally get gel polish. Some times we have one or two come off after two weeks which is expected but my youngest daughter's gel polish fully pealed off of one toe nail the next day. There was also a misunderstanding with the pricing. We normally just do gel polish for $15, no pedicure. This time they asked if we wanted just to go ahead and get a pedicure, we've done this in the past at other places but some charge more than others so I verify prior. One worker said oh just $20, I clarified that we will be doing gel and said yes $20. I reiterated that we would be doing gel so I asked again, the $20 is for gel pedicure and she said yes. So I figured they may be running some sort of promotion this time. Wrong. We get to check out and I'm being charged $35 per child. I explained I asked more than once and reiterated that this was for gel and a pedicure and worker confirmed. After being a little more stern I explained that worker may have misunderstood but I wouldn't be paying an extra cost since I made multiple efforts to clarify. She then said they would offer a discount, it's not a discount when that was the price agreed but okay. I'm just very disappointed with the way their quality has deteriorated.
