I was told this was the spot to stop during my time here. I was looking forward to it the entire weekend, however, I didn't end up getting anything once I stopped in. I had a worker scan me up and down (particularly looking at my chest) once I came in, and greeted me after staring for a good 10 seconds. I'm sure this place is amazing so I feel bad giving it such a low rating, but I felt so uncomfortable I had to leave - and not for nothing, I was with my entire family. NOT what it claims. I understand why they don't give out samples: it's not economical in these tough times and if they did, no one would buy it! I think the ingredients are fresh (at least the marshmallows in the rocky road were), but the fudge was hard the next day! I made the mistake of assuming it looked so good, it would taste at least good. I didn't get much of a chocolate flavor and certainly not the taste of nuts. My next mistake was buying it shortly before closing on my way to dinner, so I didn't eat much more than a tiny bit on my way to restaurant...and it wasn't creamy then. The next day, it was hard, grainy, and crumbly. Perhaps that's not a popular flavor and it's been sitting around, but for $10 a slice, I expected more. So disappointing. read more

We really enjoyed the ice cream here. I had the mocha almond fudge in a waffle cone, and it's definitely high quality ice cream. The single scoops are huge too. There was a long line when we went, but they have a ticket ordering system. Make sure you grab a ticket, because that takes priority over who is ahead in line. read more

After enjoying a lobster roll, we took a quick walk around and found this delicious shop! All items are marked with allergens. I enjoyed a HUGE scoop of rocky road, in a cup. Yummm!!! Some of the best icecream I've had!! They have so many choices of flavors or icecream, and you can get milk shakes too. They also sell fudge which I wish we had tried. I got the cookie butter icecream and my husband got the chocolate milkshake. Both were so good!! The staff are super friendly also, answering our questions and letting us try some of the icecreams. We stopped in here after strolling around. Having just had Mayday in Jacksonville the night before, my expectations were set pretty high. I ordered strawberry and was very disappointed when i saw it was bright pink. This is usually a sign that it's not as natural and there were no chunks of strawberry inside. We did get some toffee to go to which was pretty good. This wasn't our first time here as we've gotten fudge and I believe they changed their name. How can anyone not love his place? There's fresh fudge with samples on display and homemade ice cream! It was hot after we finished the trolley tour so we were looking for something cool to eat or drink. As we strolled along Centre Street, we passed this popular spot and stopped in. The flavors are not wildly creative here but they have the basics that we all love - strawberry, moose tracks, rainbow sherbet, orange creamsicle, berry cheesecake, cookie dough, butter pecan, chocolate, mint chip, double fudge brownie. I got two of my favorites - rocky road and cookies and cream. I wanted a single so I asked about splitting a scoop and I got something even better! Their "single" is actually a large scoop with a smaller one on top versus a double which is two large scoops. As far as I was concerned, the portions were huge! We felt like we really got our money's worth! The only disappointment for me was that despite their having a waffle iron and pieces of waffle near it, I was told that they had been too busy to make their waffle cones. I ended up skipping the packaged ones. Otherwise, the ice cream was excellent - thick, rich, and very creamy. It melts fast though so lick quickly! read more

Fantastic Fudge is too cute to pass up. You can't just walk by it and not go in. Especially if you catch the scent of fudge in the air (which you will). This place smells so amazing! It's in a little beach downtown area so you can expect lots of families and children. We honestly had to squeeze around kids and strollers and gumball machines to get to the counter to order, but that's all part of it. The line moves quickly and while you're waiting you have so many sugary confections to gaze upon and drool over. No complaints here! If you're lucky they'll be pouring out (or slicing up) freshly made, thick, velvety fudge on those big marble tables in the back. We saw a block of fudge waiting to be divvied up, but no action during our visit. Ah, well. There's plenty to peruse between the fudge, candies, chocolate-dipped everything, and the ice-cream. I left with a couple fat squares of dark-chocolate covered caramels with lots of sea salt on top. Extremely good and so rich, I could only eat half at a time. Jon ended up with a couple scoops of ice cream on a cone. Everyone left happy! Prices are for tourists, but nothing unexpected. And the quality is there so you won't be disappointed. read more
