A great stop while shopping or walking around town. The fudge is off the chain delicious, especially the rocky road variety. They also have about ten ice cream flavors if you're in the mood, and a variety of chocolate treats. The white chocolate Oreo was tasty! Friendly folks. A few seats inside, and benches outside.

Fantastic Fudge really does have fantastic fudge among many other delicious treats. Hubby is a huge fan of fudge so naturally we had to take a look at the case while we were up in Fernandina. Their rocky road and peanut butter fudge was so good! A few other items that I think are awesome include: milk and dark chocolate pretzels, dark cashews, pecan turtles and chocolate covered Oreos. With the holidays upon us, stop in today for some tasty Christmas gifts!

Great ice cream!! We walked in and we were greeted right away. They were friendly and will let you try the different flavors. Friendly fun cute store!

We come just for a small treat after dinner. It's always busy and so worth the wait! We got coconut clusters and chocolate fudge...it did not disappoint! We enjoyed sitting outside for some people watching too.

A must for ice cream on vacation!

Absolutely must visit for ice cream while on vacation! Good ice cream, great fudge, fun for all ages! Almost always a line out the door, especially on weekends!

My favorite place on Amelia Island to get ice cream is at Fantastic Fudge. Now there's usually a line our the door, but the staff is usually pretty efficient and it moves relatively quickly. I've also only had ice cream from here. I love the Raspberry Haze, but everyone has their own preferences. The rest of my family goes for cookies n cream, cookie dough, butter pecan - and no complaints.

Person was nice and gave samples - got my change right Amazing cookies n cream 9.5/10 Nice white theme and cool colors and ambiance

    Delicious chocolate everything haha

Busy busy busy. Ice cream with large topping selection. But my favorite was the pecan praline. It just melts in your mouth! The fudge and chocolate selection will leave you wondering which one(s) do I buy because I really want to try them all! Small shop but judge selection. It's always busy but they have enough folks working there to move the line pretty quick.

Tried the Cookie Monster icecream today! It had pieces of chocolate chip cookie dough and cookies and cream! The cone was crisp and fresh. They weren't too busy on the weekday in the afternoon, but on weekends - the line can be out the door!

Really good ice cream. And very nice shop decoration! The girl at the front was very kind and friendly. Restaurant was nice and clean.

Yummm!!! Some of the best icecream I've had!! They have so many choices of flavors or icecream, and you can get milk shakes too. They also sell fudge which I wish we had tried. I got the cookie butter icecream and my husband got the chocolate milkshake. Both were so good!! The staff are super friendly also, answering our questions and letting us try some of the icecreams. Such a cute icecream shop, I would love to have gone back again!! Next time!

Anyways, our server was pretty friendly, and we can't complain about the ambience. Here's what we tried: -Crab Dip: 10/10 - SOOO YUMMY! Perfect crab dip, so rich, so flavorful. -Lobster Bisque: 2/10 - This wasn't bisque, it wasn't even chowder. It was so thick and had no real taste to it. -Goat Cheese Burger: 9/10 - creamy, goat cheese was the star, overall delicious. fries were good too! -Lobster Ravioli: 7/10 - disappointing, to be honest. Sauce was great but the ravioli itself kind of tasted like frozen lobster ravioli. -French dip Sandwich: 6/10 - super salty, very savory, but very little depth of flavor. Could've used something zingy. -Chocolate Cake: 9/10 - no one can argue with a chocolate cake. I mean come on! I loved that it came out cold and dense.

We arrived at the Ritz too late for dinner anywhere but the lobby bar. Enjoyed several sushi rolls with drinks, each one imaginative fresh and tasty. But some event had recently let out and the lobby bar got crowded and LOUD. I mean over 100db loud (measured). That's the equivalent of enjoying sushi while jackhammers are crushing concrete all around you. Whoa! Ocean front one bedroom suite - Plush, large, comfortable. Curtains blocked most light, but the bright morning sun still peeked in around the edges. Comfortable bed and plenty cold for good sleeping. Two huge TVs. While the only premium feed provided is Netflix, the cable box had been lowered behind the TV in the living room such that it was simple to plug in your own device. If this is by design, kudos to the Ritz. If this was accidental, we feel very fortunate. Awesome to have a second half bath, wish that was an option at more hotels. The main bath, very roomy, with a huge dressing area, was a little odd in that, while there was a door to the toilet, there was no door to the tub/shower. Not a big deal, as it was around a corner providing a little privacy, it's still a weak design decision. Huge balcony with ocean front views that go on forever. A few chairs and a table, but a bit under furnished. Still quite a treat for the view, breeze and privacy. Never even slightly tempted to leave the property during our stay. Over a 4 night stay, we visited nearly every bar and restaurant option, and never felt like we were having to "make do". Pool - the kiddie pool was closed for renovations, so children took over the main pool all day. If you're not a tolerant direct parent, you're not gonna get in that water, if you know what I mean. Overall the pool and chairs were pretty crowded, so almost worth the premium to have rented a cabana for 8-2 one day. Lots more room and comfort, both lounge chairs and couch seating, TV, snacks and drinks.

The hotel charges a resort fee but there is really no resort to take advantage of. One pool with a lot of kids. Drinks around the pool started at 20.00. I didn't see any going the extra mile. No little extras for the guests. I would not come back to this hotel again

Tonight, my sister, my mother, and I were feeling another dinner at Salt Life was due, so we hopped in the car and drove the hour to get there, excited for the meal we were to be consuming soon. We walked in and was greeted by a girl at the register, telling us the host would be with us soon. So, while mom and my sister were checking out the aquarium, I stood there patiently waiting for the host/ess. A gentleman walked in behind me and was immediately greeted by the hostess asking him how many were in his party (he was alone at this point), I turned to the girl at the register and said, "excuse me, she never even acknowledged me". She turned to the hostess and said "they were here waiting". The hostess turned back to her 2 other friends? Work peers? And then led the 3 of us on a tour of the whole dining room area before seating us at a table she could have skipped 45 steps getting to, but whatever. She said "someone will be over to help you". And that was it. The people next to us were getting served, drinks topped off, etc., and the table on the other side as well. (Different waitresses). The table behind us, a party of 6 maybe...getting service. And there we sat. For 10 minutes...nothing. We had put our menus down within 4 minutes of sitting (we come here enough to know what we want) to signal we were ready to order. Nothing. I told my sister this is the payback for speaking up. I told her I'd give them 5 more minutes to at least take a drink order, or we'd be leaving. We waited. Nothing. So we left! How disappointing. We were really looking forward to dinner here, and left with stomachs empty. Now we are on the quest to find the next best place to become regulars at in Fernandina Beach. I can't say anything bad about the food, it's what kept us coming back, but the service we experienced tonight will keep us from coming back. Such a shame!
