To begin with, there is no waiting inside the salon. You have to stay in your car and call them and they will tell you when to come in so we already started on the right foot! The first thing you will need to do is use sanitizer when you walk in and put on your face mask. Everyone inside was wearing a mask so it felt even more comforting. Additionally, the stylists have their chairs set 6 feet apart to follow social distancing. Everything from the chair to the hair washing stations are sanitizer after each person is done. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed having Khyla do her hair. We first went in expecting a curly cut but then switched over to a silk press (what my daughter originally asked me to do). Khyla led us into discussion about the pros and cons about each and together as a team we made the decision to go with the silk press. My daughter appreciated her tender touch while detangling, and her concern for temperature at the shampoo bowl. Bless her heart I don't think she or I estimated the amount of time it would take with my daughters thick hair. Four hours later my daughter walked out all smiles and satisfaction. She ended up needing inches cut off her hair due to breakage but Khyla gave an in depth explanation why and took her time to only cut what was needed.
