OMG! What an experience this was. First off.... the staff were amazing. So friendly and…read moreaccommodating. We were a little late but thank God they weren't upset.... At least they didn't show it . The price ($200 pp) was reasonable considering we rode the horses for an hour and a half. We went horseback riding through the Indian Canyon. Beautiful views around the palm trees. I even wanted to get off the horse and hike around LOL. They do ask for your height and weight when you fill out the agreement form. The guides will match you with a horse that is obviously suited for you. I was apparently matched with the grumpy one LOL. Still a cutie pie! I was definitely nervous since it was my first time riding a horse. Our guide was super sweet and very helpful so that helped ease my nervousness a bit and It turned out to be an amazing experience and I'll definitely do it again!

They asked me if she was a barker and I said "no", keeping my fingers crossed. They allowallowed us to go in. It was fantastic! So many different scents and sights for my dog. She was mesmerized. My point to this review is to say the people that run this place are super nice even for someone like myself that didn't ask to go riding. We're going back again in the fall. Oh.. she didn't bark!

Took my granddaughter today for her first horse experience. I believe it was Brian (long braided…read morehair) that gave the lesson. He was so trusting and relaxed that my granddaughter felt so proud of herself at the things she got to experience! One example is that she got to walk her horse--Mama Rose--back to the red "barn" all by herself once she had completed her session! She's 6! We arrived early and got to "self tour" without anyone being uptight, which included visiting the goats! Before my granddaughter took her helmet off, she asked to go again! I came home and purchased 3 more sessions! We plan to take her lifelong buddy next time! Experience over toys! Experience is the best gift ever!

Worst horseback riding facility ever!!!!!! I cannot believe a place that's supposed to cherish the…read morehearts of young children could be soooooo cold. Where to begin..... From the moment we entered the facility we were NEVER greeted, felt very unwelcomed. The trainers looked at us like they didnt even want us there if i am being very honest.... however, the non-refundable lessons were already purchased for my son and he insisted to have and complete them....which he did...as young boy, who spends most of his time introverted, he was immediately drawned to his horse"Josie" and insisted to continue with more lessons. So ofcourse threw jitted teeth I called back to schedule 1 months worth of lessons that they have advertised in their bathroom at the facility for $170 for the month...mind you the lady at the office also told us its $160 for 4 lessons....after 2 weeks of waiting to hear back from the facility to schedule more lessons, they finally decided on the 3rd week that they are able to book him for the following week...not the case as they actually were going out on vacation and decided to let me know week of his supposed lesson... Following week (end of july) they get back to me to schedule but asked if we can delay again to begin first week of August. Which I obliged.....Also they mentioned the price for lessons were $190 now!!!!!! Again I obliged and provided payment. Each delay has crushed my sons heart , mind you, as he just wants to have another lesson..... now today early morning I receive a text to let me know they had scheduling errors on their end and will provide lessons starting 2nd week of August....when I shared that these delays hurt my son and if they are able to provide ANY favor of good faith or compensation for their scheduling errors, they said I can go find another facility.....

Looking forward to riding in 2 weeks . I will update my review afterwards!…read more I had owned 3,horses but that was 3 decades ago! I'm much older now and looking forward to a calm scenic ride. Also: 1. For those complaining about not being able to use their phone on a rental trail ride, it's common sense, if you accidentally drop your phone, it holds up the trail line while the trail guide has to retrieve it for you ( not allowed to get on and off a rental horse)!, it may get broken (and who's fault is that?), stopping to click several photos slows down the timed ride for everyone, and when it falls it may spook the horse. 2. So you want to trot, lope or Gallup? Not on these mountain trails with a horse you aren't familiar , with totally inexperienced riders as well as seasoned riders, and children. Just because YOU think you are an experienced RIDER doesn't matter. These are not your horses. This is a business and safety for all comes first along with protecting the horse's safety. A lame horse cannot be ridden and that is costing vet bills as well as a loss of $65. - I'm a very experienced, seasoned rider.and previous horse owner. I'm looking forward to not needing to show off and just enjoying the experience. If it's important for you to move out fast on a horse, or to use your phone on a ride - time to invest in your own horse, or ride in Mexico! - Karen Rowley

Sadly, this was not a positive experience for my family…read more We participated in the one-hour trail ride and, upon returning to the stables, our guide specifically warned riders about the new horses located on the right side of the dismount area. My 12-year-old daughter is an experienced rider and followed the staff's instructions exactly. She waited until she was prompted to enter the designated dismount area, as directed by the staff. Unfortunately, following those instructions placed her directly adjacent to the horses that had been identified as a concern. As she entered the dismount area, one of the horses reached through the fence and bit her on the right thigh. The bite was severe enough that an attendant had to intervene to get the horse to release her. I immediately took my daughter to the restroom to assess the injury and document it with photographs. The bite occurred through her long pants. While I understand that horses are animals and that unpredictable situations can occur, I was disappointed by both the circumstances that led to the incident and the way it was handled afterward. My daughter followed the instructions she was given, yet the responsibility for the incident was ultimately placed on her. Given the prior warning about the horses, it is difficult to understand why riders were still being directed into such close proximity to them. Equally concerning was the lack of follow-up from management. The owner did not speak with us at the time of the incident, did not proactively reach out afterward, and only returned our call after multiple attempts and a more urgent message. Rather than expressing concern or discussing a reasonable resolution, the conversation was argumentative and dismissive. Accidents can happen, and a sincere apology along with an effort to address the situation would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Between the safety concerns and the poor customer service that followed, I cannot recommend this business to others.
