Let me preface this by saying that I generally don't write reviews. By creating this account for…read morethe sole purpose of doing so, I hope this shows how strongly I feel about my experience with General Roofing. After getting several bids for a full re-roof of our home, we decided to go with General Roofing due to their years of experience and competitive pricing. We had several questions regarding the process, and the owners were patient and extremely knowledgeable. Both Chad and Sandra communicated with us promptly and professionally. We always knew what was going on during the entire process, courtesy of their check-ins. They made everything as seamless and painless as possible for us. The crew that worked on our home was also stellar. They were quick and efficient, and the roof looks amazing. No materials were left behind, as they had meticulously cleaned the area. They were nice enough to clear out some gunk we had in our gutters while they were up there, too. In addition to all that, we happen to have two satellite dishes on our home they had to work around. They were able to disconnect and then reattach them to our home with ease. We didn't even need to have a technician come out to recalibrate the dishes, they were THAT GOOD. What more can one ask for? Long story short, I highly recommend their services. Thank you, General Roofing!

CMC gave us a fair bid and were able to start the job in a very reasonable amount of time. The crew was amazing. Fast, courteous, and kept me in the loop to make decisions as needed. Steve was a strong foreman and his team worked very hard for him. If you have water damage, fire, rot, or whatever, CMC is now the standard go to in Anchorage

APPARENTLY padding and inflating an estimate and not communicating with the examiner or myself to resolve the estimate disagreements, before anything is done, tells me if you do not want the estimate, bombard it with as much ridiculous billings so as to sabotage the estimate with the insurance company and then blame the insurance company for the failure to agree and get out of the job without looking bad or get bad reviews. I have verified noncommunicative with all and that is a big red flag. Contractors in Alaska can be flaky, lack intergrity, just not worth having any communication. VERIFIED! Good luck...reviews last forever. I will get my home back but months later, I am mildly pi$$ed off.
