Fred spent months with us planning our family adventure, making suggestions and steering us in the right direction. We spent time in Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Bariloche and Iguazu. Fred and John (who I don't think sleeps because every email, no matter the time of day sent, was answered within minutes) planned every location (4), booked every flight (5 internal). booked every hotel (5) arranged for every tour (6), booked every excursion and event (6), dinner reservations and last minute reservation change requests (8), airport transfers (10). Total number of hiccups - ZERO.  Fred and John's attention to detail was impeccable.  Their customized tour books are comprehensive and answer every question you haven't even thought of yet.  Our private tour guides in every location (Gabriel - (BA), Sandra (Mendoza), Facundo (Bariloche), and Veronica (Iguazu) were knowledgeable, entertaining, adaptive and a pleasure to be with. All ground transportation was new, spacious and well air conditioned. All hotels were top notch, especially the Grand Malìa in Iguazu, where we spent two afternoons lounging beside the infinity pool overlooking the falls sipping cocktails. It was a great way to end the trip decompressing from a week of hiking, touring, boat rides, horseback riding and wine tasting. This was without question the most logistically complicated trip our family has gone on, and Fred and John made it as simple as a weekend at home. Shannon is professional, organized, experienced, and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. She provided excellent recommendations on which ship and itinerary would be the best fit, and her firsthand knowledge of the Virgin Voyages brand really showed since she has cruised with them herself. Shannon helped with every detail of the trip, from assisting with meal reservations to organizing private tours during our stops in Victoria, B.C. and Vancouver. I truly didn't have to worry about anything or spend time researching -- I let Shannon plan the entire trip, and she absolutely delivered. The private tours were fantastic, and I learned and saw so many highlights of both Victoria and Vancouver. I especially enjoyed my time in Vancouver. Shannon booked a private tour for 8 of us, and it was so convenient being picked up directly from the port terminal. Our hotel for the overnight stay was only about a 5-minute walk away, so we were able to quickly drop off our luggage before heading out on a full-day tour of Vancouver. Thanks to the tour, I was able to see and experience so much more of Vancouver than I would have if I had explored on my own. We visited Butchart Gardens, Stanley Park, Granville Island, Olympic Village, Capilano River Hatchery, and Capilano Suspension Bridge, and we also drove by and learned about many other sites along the way. I had an amazing time on the cruise and met so many wonderful people, many of whom were also Shannon's clients. There were around 20 of us booked through her on the sailing, and it was great connecting with fellow travelers throughout the trip. She was always very responsive when we had questions and always detailed in her recommendations. We started working with Ryanne after picking our venues and a few other vendors, but if you can work with her from the very beginning I would recommend it! She can save you a lot of time trying to find vendors to work with and save you from some sticker shock by helping you with a realistic budget from the very beginning. We had a huge 200 guest count and consisted of shuttles to take them inside the vineyard. My groom is a type-A kind of guy and always wants everything perfect. Any wedding planner would probably just tear their hair out, but Ryanne, was super organized, she delivered on everything we asked, and resolved any hiccups along the way. Ryanne was our advocate and took charge of everyting, from talking to the vendors ( we had 10) about pricing issues to doing little things like bringing picture frames at the last minute. We felt really confident leading up to the wedding. We were able to just hang out with our family and friends from out of town, instead of stressing about wedding details. She was a calming presence to my groom and I. A couple of months beforehand, she even came with me to buy wedding decor and gave me advice on things that I would NEVER think of. She was a great value and more than I expected in a wedding coordinator. You would think she has been doing this for years, but this was her first big event on her own.
