Wow!! Wait! Wait! That's not all a third employee brought out some Love in the form of a pup cup for my Rainbow . I would highly recommend you pay them a visit and enjoy the experience and if you have the time try the outside seating, the steel chairs are a gift lol they rock similar to a rocking chair, you wouldn't think with being so sturdy that would be yes it does! The store front is painted red and yellow and green. Once you go inside it reminds you of an old Mercantile shop in an old Western movie. The south side wall is covered in "penny" candy, which I'm sure isn't a penny now though! If you have an old favorite, you can probably find it here. The building is long and narrow and the walls are old wood as is the big long counter. You will find lots of vintage items as well as lots of handmade treasures. I love the handmade rag rugs in lots of beautiful colors...even pink, my favorite! There are handmade cloth and batting snowmen that are just adorable and very well made. A few antiques too that for sale. What I really love is the "feel" of the place. It is charming, quaint and a great addition to Pocahontas! It's worth the drive to step back in time and maybe pick up a special treasure and a handful of sweets!
