LONGER VERSION: I was in a pretty horrible accident where my front end was severely damaged. At the time, I didn't know where to have it towed, so I went with the insurance adjuster's suggestion. When I got it back, it looked great but the alignment was really off. I took a full day off of work to take it back to the original shop in Long Island, they held on to it for about 8 hours, then came back to me and pronounced it "fixed." I drove it home and knew it was still really messed up. I then went to a place that specialized in alignments, and it was better, but still really off. I was at my wit's end, since the car is quite new but felt undriveable to me. So I took it to Broadway Auto, since they're super close by and always pleasant to deal with. (In the past, I had only gone to them for things like oil changes and inspections.) They had the car for about an hour when I got a call from Harris to come back so he can show me something. The subframe was not connected properly on one side, which was causing the alignment to be off. The original collision shop had not connected it properly. I had him fix it, since I didn't trust the original shop to correct it. When I came back to get the car, it drove perfectly. Harris actually warned me that it was still pulling a bit and I should go to the alignment place to have it adjusted, but I found that I didn't even feel it. I liked that Harris was so conscientious that he was noticing something that I didn't notice myself. As someone who knows very little cars, it can make you feel crazy when you know something is wrong but a mechanic keeps telling you it's fine. I had the absolute opposite experience here. Harris took my concerns seriously and actually did the work of figuring out the problem and correcting it. It's so satisfying to drive away from an auto repair place and feel like your car feels "right" again. Thank you to Harris and his coworkers!

Tire Pros did a full diagnosis and they discovered that in addition to needing new brake pads, the more serious problem was that my brake line was slowly leaking fluid. The fact that they were diligent enough to explore every possible problem shows how much integrity they put into their work. I could have taken my car to a different place, and they could have just replaced my brakes without checking my brake line, and without realizing it, I would've continued living my life being at risk of becoming responsible for a serious collision due to an undiscovered brake fluid leak. I am so grateful to M.I.C. Tire Pros for identifying the root problem and solving it. From management, to the technicians, to the people who run the convenience store section, you can tell that there is a sense of comradery and a familial sense of respect that is shown to everyone. I discovered that this is a family run establishment and that vibe definitely trickles down to their customers. In terms of monetary value, the price I paid for new brakes, a repaired brake line, an oil change and new windshield wipers was more than fair, especially considering their excellent customer service and their quality of work.
