The Farmers Cart is a wonderful place all year round, whether it be you need to stock up fresh fruit, veg, or home reared organic meat, or you want an afternoon out with the kiddies - Farmers Cart has it all.
All year round there's something different going on, At Christmas time the small shop expands by means of a huge tent and all sorts of festive fayer is on sale. For this children you can also catch a ride on santa's sleigh through the woods where santa and his helpers are waiting to talk to them next to a roaring fire! it's a magical experience for kids.
In spring you can feed the lambs and other various 'babies' that are around the farm, as well as find out what's being planted ready for the next harvest.
In summer time you can get your baskets and go and pick your own fruits and early veg, again great fun for the kids!
October brings halloween and another fun day out for the kids as Farmers cart hosts 'Pumpkin Fest' - The kids can hitch a ride on the tractor to the pumpkin patch and find their very own pumpkin - theres also lots of other things to do, pumpkin carving, corn shooting - lots of fun.
All year round the Farmers Cart also has a lovely little cafe restaurant where you can pop in for tea and cake or try one of the wonderful lunches, personally I love the Yorkshire mans lunch, ham, beef, a beautiful salad and home baked bread - what a treat! read more
