This shopping center is right by the ferry, but was even more convenient for us because it was just across from where we were staying. Farmer's Daughter has a wide selection of items to choose from, with many different styles, colors, and sizes. Popped in while waiting for the Ocracoke ferry. I will note, seeing previous one-star reviews, that there were NO deranged nasty politics going on. In fact, the proprietor thanked a man for his military service that was checking out in front of me. So I think the bad apples have been sacked as everyone today was respectful and kind. I needed to grab a quick beach bag to carry my dog stuff and they had an amazing deal on a heavy duty denim tote for just $10. Great place for Outer Banks souvenirs. My fiance and I came here because it was raining and there wasn't much else to do. I liked the selection of shirts at Farmer's Daughter the most out of the shops at the marina because they had a wide variety of fun designs. They weren't all your typical "OBX" logo tees. Also, the pricing was pretty fair as well, I bought a few shirts and it came out to an average of about $16 per shirt. There's something for everyone here. And even if you're not necessarily looking to buy anything, it's nice to take a look around the shop if you have time to kill. read more

Great Outer Banks (TV show and the place) T-shirts and merch. Lots of plushies for kids and a WIDE selection of shirts. They have free salt water taffy fir costumers as well! But, in all honesty, prices are kind of high. read more

I did not have the best experience I will not go back. My friend got a shirt and was going to exchange it for a different size just a few min after buying. The employees were very rude and were not going to Peter her exchange it because she did not have a receipt. They never gave her a receipt. After a few min the cashier said "just take it". That is when my friend noticed her wrist band which said f trump. Politics aside it said the whole word which is very rude to everyone. The young lady that works there is lazy and rude. I will never ever go there again. I asked for her assistance on getting a larger shirt from a rack on wall she told me there was no shirts larger. I could see there was a xl hanging up there. I won't going to argue with her. You could see she didn't want to be there. I just purchased the few things i did have and left. horrible, absolutely horrible. most employees wear f*ck trump wristbands. (but they say the whole word which is very rude and should not be worn in front of lots of customers, especially kids). i went in and bought a shirt and after buying realized that i wanted a smaller size. i went back in the store(15 min later) and brought the shirt i wanted to the register and said i needed to exchange them. the shirt was a size smaller and a different color. they were the same price. i had the tag on both, the sticker on both and the bag. when i previously checked out she did not give me a receipt. the girl was very rude about exchanging the shirt and would not let me. i continued to say nicely that i was in her a few min ago and i have the tag and the bag. that is when i saw her bracelet. eventually she said, "just take it" and let me exchange it.
