Byrne Agency as they've proven again that they don't just "sell" insurance, but truly value and develop relationships with their clients. I've used the J. Byrne agency for about 5 years now and have always been impressed with their commercial expert Jim Ridgeway and his incredible knowledge and passion for helping clients. This past week is a prime example why I advocate for the J. Byrne agency. I had an incident settling a property claim from wind and storm damage. There was an exclusion buried 60 pages into the policy that the underwriting company, NOT my agent, slipped in on one of the renewals. This would have cost me $12,000+ with most other agencies as I signed the paperwork and they could have simply stated "that's the way it is". Not with J. Byrne! Jim and his assistant Eileen Baker agreed that this was unfair and unclear and the FOUGHT the underwriting company for me. They kept me informed along the way and demonstrated their company's commitment to excellence in customer service by successfully having the clause removed and saving me, the consumer, an additional $12,000 in deductibles that could have been imposed.
