I was told that State Farm doesn't insure coastal properties, but I had the most wonderful and informative conversation with one of their agents (Terri or Bonnie?). Even though I wasn't insured with SF, she told me where to find potential information in my current policy that could save me money, and what specific terms to look for / ask for when calling for quotes. She even called me back after we spoke the first time to bring up more information that might be relevant to my search. I wish SF insured O.C. houses, as I would love to be able to have this friendly, knowledgable staff to support me.

Called them the very next day and didn't get an answer. And now its been a week and i haven't heard from anyone after leaving several messages in regards to my claim. I have questions and concerns and haven't had them answer. I really feel like they don't care. Eventually, I went through Allstate's website via chat and after an hour on chat and being transfered 4 times (because they were not licensed in NJ), I was told that I could not be reimbursed for the two and half months prior because they only refund 30 days. I explained that I had been calling for 2.5 months and emailing to no avail. Eventually, I got 30 days refunded but Allstate kept the other six week's worth of payment. I asked to speak to a manager, and was told I would be emailed, which I never was. I was eventually contacted by customer service via a phone message after we complained on Facebook. I returned the call the same day and again two more times with no answer. I then got a letter stating the case would be closed in seven days since the letter was mailed if I did not call. The letter came six days after written. I called twice and still no response. Danial Hand agency NEVER returned any call or email. Horrible customer service.
