Got 2 receipts: 1 for homeowner's and 1 for auto. When my credit card statement came, I was charged 2 more charges without my knowledge: $199. and $79. Went over there to local Goosehead office to ask what these 2 unauthorized charges were and was told they were the AGENCY'S FEES for moving my 2 policies locally. Agent said that we talked about those 2 charges when I came in to move policies! ! NO WAY...I said that I would have kept them in Dallas, if I had known about these 2 FEES. I told her that I had authorized 2 credit card charges and had left the Goosehead office May 20 with 2 receipts for the 2 insurance policies. If they really would have told me about the FEES, I would have left that day with 4 receipts. The 2 fees were both posted on my credit card on a different date! ! Goosehead agent would not offer any refunds, so I left Goosehead feeling like I had really been taken advantage of.

The damage to her vehicle supports exactly what she reported. Your insured denied responsibility, and that was apparently all the evidence you needed. Case closed. So what exactly do you investigate? Because from where we're standing, it seems the process is simple: if your insured says, "It wasn't me," you call it conflicting information and deny the claim. Physical evidence? Ignored. Common sense? Ignored. Accountability? Nonexistent. Don't advertise fairness, integrity, or an unbiased claims process if the outcome is predetermined the moment your insured denies responsibility. This wasn't an investigation. It was a rubber-stamped denial dressed up as one. Not to mention the nearly month it took of back and forth trying to get anything resolved w/ this due to "conflicting information" which yet again means the parties do not agree to what happened so we will ignore the evidence (damage on car) and agree w/our insured. Then Keagle had the nerve to laugh when I explained to my husband that they were denying the claim and apparently this is the ins co we need to have as they ignore evidence and just side w/their insured.
