I have texts and emails that I requested them to come by 11:00 am because I was driving from Fredericksburg. They said ok, we will wait. Then while I was on my way, I called them several times and texted them updating my arrival which was 10:15am. They said, no problem. They started at 10:30 and charged me extra for 11/2 hours which I don't understand. Every item was packed in boxes and in ikea moving bags which they called plastic bags. The reason I packed in ikea bags so they are easy to carry and protected my items. I worked as hard as they did to make sure they don't complaint but the whole time they complained and advised me to trash my belongings. They gossiped with my sister complaining. I am a US citizen but foreigner who speaks in an accent. Their first question was; where are you from? They mistreated me, abused my belongings. Instead of two hours work which my other mover who loaded the truck completed in two hours, they did it in 5 hours because the whole time they were taking tea break and snack break and of course talking breaks. It was a 3 hours job but I got charged for extra hours and for their trip to my location which is beyond acceptable. They charge you over $175 just because they had to drive to your location. This business is a heartless scam. They are racists and prejudiced as well. I have documents saved up that they are scambugs and are liars. The movers handled my belongings very carelessly, and some of my very expensive items were broken and damaged due to the way furniture and boxes were stacked on top of them. Items were placed and piled without proper care, which caused significant damage. I also believe I was overcharged for the service provided and feel I was not charged fairly for what was done. Because of the situation, I had to hire another moving company to help undo the damage and assist in bringing my furniture down safely, which resulted in additional costs. Altogether, I suffered thousands of dollars in damages and losses. After I left my review, I received multiple calls from the company threatening legal action if I did not remove my review, which I felt was an attempt to pressure or intimidate me. I have photographic evidence and eyewitness accounts showing the condition of my belongings before and after the move. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Mighty Movers of Lynchburg.

They also stopped on the way at a furniture store and picked up additional furniture. Drove to my new location and unloaded everything in less than 2 hours. Travis is an absolute professional and strategic in placing items in the truck to maximize usage. Bruce is a joy and charming as charming can be. Quan is an absolute gentleman and wrapped everything meticulously. These guys are awesome. I could not have made this move without them.

The crew basically shrugged and said "sorry" as they did not have tools on hand to pull and fix a stripped screw, leaving me SOL. This may have been a two-star event as the rest of the move was great. However, there were lighting fixtures lining the sidewalk that they pulled and after the fact, I noticed some of the stakes were broken. These were left piled up and not re-inserted in ground. The crew was definitely in a hurry to leave.

Charlie at the office takes in all my information including details about each location and a basic inventory of key pieces of furniture in addition to packed boxes. They check in a couple of days beforehand and we are good to go! Day of the move, Malik, Hunter and Tyrell show up in a fairly large truck. They help me break down some furniture (bed frames) and try to leave as much intact for the move. For my 2 bedroom apartment it takes maybe 2 1/2 hours to bring it all down. Unfortunately I live on the 3rd floor which slows things down. On the destination side it takes a little over an hour to unload which includes re-assembling stuff. Didn't find many/any dings on the walls or furniture, they wrap the edges for safety. I tip the team and say a huge thank you for this big step forward in my move. Overall I was very happy with their service, it was a little under $900 for the 5 mile move but heck, I sure couldn't have done it on my own. While I was concerned about some of the negative reviews I saw online, my experience was top-notch for the move!

Everything had to come off the wood floors from kitchen, breakfast area, dining room, living room, hallway etc. They also moved furniture away from walls in other rooms so trim could be cleaned and then painted. Both men were very conscientous of our belongings and treated them with great care. All furniture, refrigerator and gas stove were carefully placed in our garage. As serious as they were with moving carefully and quickly they both have a friendly & approachable demeanor. Answering questions and keeping it light made for an enjoyable experience.
