Staff was not very friendly, they just walked right pass you without looking at you or maybe a "Hello, welcome to Fashion Q" or "Can I help you with anything?" My wife says that it has always been like that. She used to come shop here years ago when she lived closer to the plaza. The place is clean and organized, they do have lots of clothes, shoes, and some accessories. Also, they do have fitting rooms. Prices are ok. The staff is actually constantly cleaning and spraying and disinfecting everything, as I was waiting for my wife and daughter sitting by the fitting room, one of the staff just shower the shoe stand in front of me with a lot of disinfectant, she did that about three times in 10 minutes. Stuff are organized in a very clustered and crowded way. There's some good sales at least but it's mostly stuff that did not sell well or have been stained. I picked up a cute little tee, but unfortunately it had a blob of red mystery. Might as well throw that away because who knows what that red could be. Everything else is quite expensive for what you're getting. You can expect to pay $25 above for polyester. I would compare most of the stuff in this store to shein level. I come here regularly, I'm always looking for a cute casual top to wear which they always have. Unfortunately they don't always have size small ready for grabs because I'm sure it's the first to go. Understandable. On one occasion I requested the one on display because I found a top sized (small) That I loved but I noticed it had makeup smeared on it. I'm assuming from someone whom tried it on of course. The staff suggested she could remove it but I didn't like that idea especially since the one on display was perfectly fine and was the size I needed. She gave in and gave me the top on display. Today's trip was similar however in this case there were no size (small) and as I remembered in the past the mannequin's are dressed in size (small) and I was right the top I wanted in my size was on a mannequin. I asked a staff member if I could have the one on display because it's the only size small I found and she proceeded to ask the manager and she nodded at her staff member and made an uncomfortable gesture and walked away not even acknowledging me. The staff member seemed embarrassed and said sorry no I asked wait why..? She then said because she said no referring to her manager. I was bummed out. I sadly ended up getting a similar top in size small in a different color. Sure maybe this isn't the biggest deal but it felt rude and lazy of the manager to completely disregard the request. I am writing to formally express concerns regarding my experience while employed at Fashion Q. From the beginning of my employment, there were issues related to payroll and workplace practices. My first paycheck was provided two days late due to an oversight, as it was forgotten. Approximately one month later, all employees' paychecks were delayed by one day without any advance notice; staff were only informed on the day the checks were expected. Additionally, holiday hours were not distributed evenly among employees, which created confusion and concerns regarding fairness. While I understand and respect the company's policy regarding cell phone use on the sales floor, break policies were not consistently followed. During five-hour shifts, only one ten-minute break was provided, and the standard thirty-minute break was not offered. While it is possible that employees could request this break, doing so appeared to cause stress or discouragement, which made employees hesitant to speak up. In terms of management, most managers were generally kind; however, there were instances where communication felt rude or unprofessional. Furthermore, employees were strongly discouraged from speaking with coworkers during shifts. It was communicated, implicitly or explicitly, that doing so could result in reduced hours, including being scheduled for only one four-hour shift in a week as a form of punishment. To add, the environment looks very dirty. I am sharing these concerns to bring attention to workplace practices that affected morale, communication, and employee well-being. I believe to be the only employee who would speak up about these issues. Worst quality clothing ever and the staff behaved as if everyone is in their stealing.

Went shopping yesterday 6/3/20. Due to Covid we all dressing rooms are closed. I asked one of the associate what is the return policy. Associate:we are letting you exchange items. Me: that's perfect, I just came from another clothing store and all sales are final. Associate: we were doing that, but we recently changed it. Me: perfect. I bought several rompers and sizing Is S/M and L/XL . I can easily be a M/L. I went the very next day to exchange 2 of my rompers for another size. I was told all sakes are final. The associate I talk to was very nice. I explain to her that's not what I was told yesterday. She went to double check with her manager, and yes all sales were final. They need to get on board as a team. And also update their return policy ok their receipt. Like I mention the other store I went too updated their receipt "due to Covid-19 all items are final sale" See pic below. Exchange within 14 days. The All sales are final stamp is referring to my gym shorts, in which the cashier crossed out for me. Basically letting me know the gym shorts are final sale. Not the my entire purchase. I verified it with the manager Judy. And she rudely said "all items are final" The items here are inexpensive. But it's the principle. I could fight them due to the receipt but this is fashion q not Macy's. I should complain to the BBB. read more

This place deserves ZERO stars. Wish there was an option for that. Dear condescending conceited business owner, I'm a busy hard working young professional entrepreneur and a business woman myself. I came in today and I didn't expect to try on anything yet when I need help for a size, the older Asian woman acts as if I am hassling her. So do the store reps. I just proceeded wirh my night and went to the register. Whoops turns out there was an issue with their card machine POS after all (literally or what the acronyms truly mean lol).... they stare at me like I am too poor lol when it's not my prob their machine sucks too bad too sad that's not my prob. They stare at me while I mention I have cash to pay. They're so lucky cause that's rare for me. They gave me the looks and I was short a few cents... I told the store rep I might have another few cents or dollar in my vehicle. She's like "look we are closing ok? You can come back tomorrow" while the Asian woman gives me a condescending look. I say "sure I'll try to come" and gave my name. They all came off very rude, after their Mama San or whatever. How dare them treat me like dirt when their prices was just okay not even really cheap. I was about to drop three bills... And for the overall quality and service, their prices are now deemed a rip off... and no refunds? Look, I am partially Asian myself and please do not try to presume and pull the racist card as we all live in America and this is a melting pot. Consider yourself very lucky to receive constructive criticism that I will not get paid a single penny on my spare time (yes my time is valuable and please owner, do not waste anymore of it by responding... I came after work because I needed work tanks-basic cheap tank tops. After waiting in a long ass line for 15 mins with two check outs, It's finally my turn to get going with my life! The Asian lady tells me the total and I run my debit card- her machine has an literally 2 inches of paper left and makes a beeping sound. She changes the paper and tells me SORRY! It didn't go through because of the paper so let me see your card again... As I'm handing it to her thinking HEY THIS IS WEIRD! why wouldn't it go through WITHOUT paper?! But stupid me- wanting the people behind me to stop staring at me because of this paper sitch- I hand her my card. She runs it again and tells me to enter my debit pin AGAIN! I decided to check my account as the transaction is going and she tells me because I'm making a WTF?! face Lady #1: No worry- only once, one time only no two times Me: I see on my account that it was taken out twice L#1: NO don't worry-only one! *shaking her hand at me* just one! Lady#2: *speaking to each other in Korean* no just one, I see on here (pointing to her register).. One Me: OKKKKKKKAAY- if I see it and have proof ... I'm coming back! Before I hit the door to exit- I now see BOTH TRANSACTIONS on my account and walk back to show the second lady my bank account. She sees the two deductions and says ooOohHh and asks me did I enter my PIN # twice? YA I DID! THAT LADY TOLD ME TO BECAUSE SHE RAN OUT OF PAPER AND TOLD ME IT DIDNT GO THROUGH! They didn't refund my card and told me to come back tomorrow... I said for what?! Why can't you just put it back on my card?! My bank says it right here and it's deducted twice! She said it needs to go through their system and it takes a day- PSH! It took 2 seconds for my bank to release the money and take it out of my account but you can't just refund it back so I don't have to make another trip here?! It's going down like Donkey Kong! A good portion of my current wardrobe is purchased at Fashion Q for the following reasons: 1. Cute clothes 2. Cheap prices 3. Huge selection 4. Decent quality If you're someone who shops at Forever 21 then you'll love Fashion Q because their prices aren't as high! They aren't big time like Forever 21, but they are a chain and have a few location throughout Southern California. The quality of their clothes, I find, are slightly better than Forever 21 and at least a few dollars cheaper. They have less stock but it means they are constantly bringing in new styles and fashion for the season so you're bound to find something you'll love. They have a no return store policy but can do exchanges or credit up to 21 days. And, they carry cute shoes! The store manager is a nice Korean lady but they have a few workers there that can assist you. When I first discovered this place they used to have one large fitting room and everyone was exposed to everyone else. Not a big deal because you were usually in and out, but they recently renovated and have individual fitting rooms. (I guess to compete with the Forever 21 that just opened 3 doors down in the old Mervyn's). This Fashion Q has become my "go-to" if I need a new outfit for the weekend or to go out with the girls. read more

Honestly, the quality of clothing is very comparable to Forever 21. Prices are a bit more reasonable, but once again pretty similar to Forever 21. Service is a bit rude sometimes. I don't care how small this store is and how it doesn't look very "high-end" -- everything else about it is amazing! Awesome clothes, great prices, lovely variety... I love it! A fairly nice portion of my wardrobe is from here, especially my jeans. I refuse to pay $30 for jeans so I come here where I can find some that range from $9 to $13. They've last me a long, long time as well. The pair I'm currently wearing as we speak is from Fashion Q and I've had it since 2010. The clothes here just look so much better than at Forever 21. Honestly, I've grown out of Forever 21... and they always have my style of clothing here at Fashion Q (totally not into the hipster fashion scene which seems to take up much of Forever 21's merchandise). Don't come here unless you want to be accused of stealing when they're staff is too stupid to remove the security tags off their clothing. I came back with the jacket off my back with a tag still on it WALKED IN THE STORE WITH IT and they refused to remove the tag and accused me of stealing it. I told them the girl who rang me up, the time I was there, how much my purchase was etc, and then had to stand there embarrassed while they accused me of stealing it off the shelf. My fiance and I came here on Valentine's day during our day trip. We had driven from San Diego up to Downtown LA to visit the FIDM Museum for their annual costume exhibition, afterwards we drove to Hollywood for some sightseeing. It was a pretty hot day so I wore a romper with sandals. On our way home we decided to stop at Disneyland in Anaheim since we are annual passholders and go there about twice a month or so. When we got to Anaheim, it was COLD and wearing a romper in cold weather at disneyland is not fun. We decided to find a clothing store nearby. When I looked at my Yelp app and found a Fashion Q, I was excited! I love Fashion Q, I frequently shop at the Fashion Q's in San Diego. We got directions from the app and arrived here just in time. I was impressed at how well stocked this store is compared to a couple in San Diego. They had so much more variety of everything! And had every size. In San Diego, you'll be lucky if they have every size in everything on the racks. Usually, there's just size Small left in all the cute things. Also, they had way more jeans than the stores in San Diego. I ended up purchasing a pair of jeans, a tank top, a cardigan, scarf, and flats and managed to keep the total cost VERY reasonable. The next time we're up in Anaheim and I need a change of clothes, or if we're up here and are staying in a hotel for the weekend, I will definitely be coming back :) read more

You get what you give in service. I've found the customer service here to be fantastic and friendly. Don't come here expecting Barney's level service, and you'll leave happy. Everyone has always been friendly to me here. Like most other stores of its type, there can be limited size selection, but that means fast turnover which makes repeat visits fun. There's always something new. Likewise, their plus section is small, and I mean SMALL, but what do you expect from Asian clothes? I always find nice stuff for cheap. You just have to be willing to look through the racks. Last time I came, I left with two cute cap sleeve shrugs (plus size) for $7 each and a load of lipsticks in fun colors. I only deduct a star because this shop has the merchandise of a shop twice its size, and that means kind of edging between the racks and occasionally knocking down the odd item which is a struggle to pick up in the narrow space. Depending on your level of plus girl confidence, that can be an uncomfortable experience. But honestly, for the price and selection? Worth it. read more

came here to do a quick shop today. this store has a lot of cute clothes for relatively cheap- it kind of reminds me of a papaya or charlotte rouse. i originally went inside to buy simple black T-shirts for work and they had some! i'm petite so its sometimes hard to find clothes that fit me well but i found a nice cute black t-shirt for only $3.99! couldn't help but buy some other things too (i cant help it :( ) long skirts are in style right now so i bought two (one grey, one blue) for $8.99 each! also got a cute tube top dress which was only $14.99 and was a final sale item. their return policy is within 21 days and it is for store credit only. final sale items are non refundable! read more
