If they do close down I wouldn't be shocked or sad. The clothes got worse as the years went on and I never had a problem exchanging and returning clothes. Came in with my little sister to buy an outfit for a photoshoot and whole time we were shopping the Asian lady which is the manager kept following us around as if we were going to steal. Be cautious and make sure you look at your receipt. I was overcharged here. I purchased a dress for half off and was told I couldn't return it. The cashier gave me a whole spiel at the time of purchase but then still charged me the full price. I was in a rush to get out and should've paid more attention when she was ringing me up, but I really needed to go to the restroom. I was huge pregnant and they still would not accommodate me and referred me to a Starbucks across the street. I was billed $34 for a dress that should've been half of the price. They also do not provide for any refunds whatsoever, even with the tags on. You can only return items and get store credit within 15 days with tags. Very frustrating experience. read more

I always love coming here when i'm in the area because most likely I will find something and of course I did. I found a few clothing items and I left to go check out another store. During that time i realized that I already have something similar to what I just bought. So i went back to the store and asked to return it. Unfortunately, if you don't come here often, they only offer store credit. But for me it wasn't a big deal because I know i'd be back in the future. They also use the receipt as proof of credit so just keep that in mind. They can't transfer the credit onto a gift card so i just have to remember that it's in the form of my receipt. read more

This is a hole in the wall clothing store in Westminster and is good for stopping by from time to time. Fashion Boomy is a hit and miss when it comes to their products and I have experienced better with other hole in the wall clothing stores. The store is very organized and clean. They also have a plus size section (mainly on the right side of the store) to accommodate people with all type of sizes and curves. I think the prices for some of the items are outrageous for cheap quality products. Just keep in the mind that the manager isn't always friendly and customer service is lacking. read more

Cute clothes at an affordable price but never in my life have I experienced such terrible customer service. I found a lot I liked and went up to one of the workers and asked for a fitting room since everyone was ignoring me (no biggie that part was fine). She counted my items and gave me a room. After trying on for a bit I heard loud loud knocking on the door from another employee she starts screaming that I have too many things and I go oh I am sorry your other employee gave me a room. She then gets irate on how they are on the floor (I was stacking in a neat pile since the hooks were broken in the fitting room) and starts frantically grabbing clothes as I'm still trying on an item. I'm starting to help her and she continues to yell at me and when I go to hang them on the unwanted hanger to help and she continues to yell at me give them here and I am trying to both help and diffuse the situation (I'm a very non confrontational person) and she continues to freak out. I try to take off the clothes I am currently trying on so I can just get out of this nightmare and she just keeps knocking on the dressing room door and yelling. After posting my review about Fashion Boomy I was contacted by Lisa the owner of Fashion Boomy letting me know they do hire men and that the manager of the store i went to was in the wrong and was not speaking for the company itself and that she is just temporarily there until she can be replaced now. To which I offered myself as someone who can replace her. Lisa then sent me her fax number to send my resume directly to her to go over. Whether I get a job or even an interview I'm happy that the owner reached out to rectify what had happened. read more

I'm impressed by this store! They have a good selection of clothing that is cute and trendy and of decent quality. My favorite thing about the store in general is that it's so clean and organized. Each section of the store is set up in obvious color stories. Normally in this type of store you have to dig and everything is so cluttered, but not here. Everything is extremely affordable as well. The store closes before they are supposed to. I came tonight at 8:37pm to buy an adhesive bra for a wedding tomorrow and the doors were already locked. They are not supposed to be closed until 9pm. There was a worker still there and a woman who appears to be the owner shook her head insinuating "don't open the door." I begged and said I just needed to buy the bra and that they aren't supposed to be closed yet but the woman would not budge. I've been here so many times, I absolutely love their clothes & accessories! The workers are friendly & nice, but the owner is so rude... The last time I came, she followed me throughout the store, which I didn't notice at first.. I had 12 things I wanted to try on & their policy is to only allow 6 items in the changing room at a time, I was choosing my 6... when suddenly the owner appears & tells the girl helping me that I can't try any of the clothes on. I was confused as to why... & asked how am I supposed to know if the clothes fit well or not without trying them on? She told me if I want to try them on, I would have to buy it first. I bought jaw string pants from the fashion boomy on chapman. The first time I wore it, the thread that held the drawstrings together came apart and the drawstrings fell off the Pants! I took it back within 10 days with the receipt and tag. The manager at the counter refused to exchange my pants and instead told me to wear the pants without the strings! I told her the strings hold the pants up how the hell am I supposed to wear it ?! Ugh so frustrated with the service and QUALITY of this place. never again. read more

I will begin this review by saying that I Had a handful of clothes that I was intending to purchase. While shopping here my little brother needed to use the restroom, he politely asked if he could use it but was instructed to go to Albertson's next door. So I did what they told me, I set down my stuff and left, they lost my business. I completely would have understood if I had not been purchasing anything but it's completely ridiculous that this store would send customers away based on restroom usage. The owner better rethink this policy, from their two star yelp average I shouldn't have been shocked at the lack of customer service. Wow, I am impressed by the layout of this store! It is so clean and the coordination of its clothing, shoes, and jewelry sections are so varied. If you love fashion as much as I do, then you'll appreciate this place. The stuff they have here isn't what you'd normally find at the local malls. To me, they seem to have a lot of S. Korean influence: very sexy, sophisticated and colorful! This place reminds me of Fashion Young, but wayyyy cleaner and more organized. Yes, the prices are very decent.
