My diagnosis is such that it could worsen & a trip to the ER may be necessary. This could be avoided with two prescriptions & I could start getting well now instead of having to hurt the entire weekend & wait until Monday to see my PCP. Neither prescription is a controlled substances & neither will harm me if misdiagnosed. Ridiculous.

TL:DR     Ed Fox gave _very_ incorrect information and did…read morenot follow up as promised. My mom is 64. She and I have a chronic genetic issue. She swore off doctors years ago. So when I finally found something that was helping, it took a lot of convincing to get her to go. She did some research and decided to see Ed Fox. He wasn't familiar with her condition. That's fine. We're used to that. What she was asking for is Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) to help treat the chronic pain, among other things. He told her it's a controlled substance and that he'd need authorization, so he'd get back to her. It's not a controlled substance. In fact, had he done a five second google search, he'd have seen it's kind of the opposite. It's an opioid antagonist and is used in its normal dose to treat opioid and alcohol addiction. But he didn't do that. He also didn't check with others in his practice and get back to her like he said he would. If you have a cold, you're probably fine going here. If you're looking for a doctor that will actually do what he says, cares about your issues, and will look into things you bring up--this is not your guy. Now I have to try and convince my mom to try again. And it's going to be harder than it was this last time.

I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time to be taken back, and then was in the clinic another 2 hours as a nurse and some sort of assistant took turns coming in and out of the exam room. I had a couple of tests done and blood drawn. It should've taken 30 minutes tops if the people didn't keep leaving me in the exam room for 10 minutes at a time. 3 weeks later and still no test results. I have called several times and was only able to leave voicemail with the nurse and receptionist. What if I had a major issue? This place should be shut down. I went here because it was convenient to my home and I wasn't able to get in to see an eye…read morespecialist. I was having issues with both my eyes being itchy, burning and swollen. One of my eyes had been losing lashes for over a month but the new symptoms made it that I wasn't even able to go to work that day and I needed to get this situation checked and medicated before it got worse than it was. They put me with a nurse practitioner (name unknown but this was on July 6, 2026 at 1pm, so I saw whoever was on duty that day). She did NOT even look at my eye(s)! All she did was casually lean against the table why I sat in one of the regular chairs in the exam room and literally said she DIDN'T KNOW what was wrong with my eyes. I don't know if I got a look on my face, but then she left the room saying she would be right back. She returned less than five minutes later and told me that she looked up my symptoms and I have "allergies" and she was going to prescribe me two different eyedrops for them and told me to take some allergy pills. I knew I did not have allergies and there was no way I was going to put drops in my eyes after she just told me that she "didn't know what was wrong with my eyes." I asked her if it was possible that I could have caught parasitic eye mites (dermodex) and she said she had never heard of eye mites and insisted I just have allergies. That was a wasted $50 copay!! Thankfully, the next day, the ophthalmologist had a cancellation and was able to see me. They examined my eyes very thoroughly and turned out I had an eye infection.
