awful work. I went to have rubber taps on my shoes and he used nails too large for my shoes. the nails were literally scraping the floor as I walked. I took the shoes back to him and he put the shoes on a shoe holder, took a hammer and literally banged the nails further into the shoe to force the nails to fit when they were literally the wrong sized nails for the shoe. He's unprofessional, his work is lackluster and he should be out of business. Got no business repairing shoes. This man is awful. Don't take your shoes there. read more

Took two pairs of dress boots to have their heel tips replaced. We were able to wait while he worked on them. He was super fast. This store has a large variety of items that you can purchase to care for and maintain your shoes. I purchased several items while there that I brought home and cleaned up some of my shoes. Purchased the suede repair block that can remove smooth areas on suede--awesome tool! Also purchased the red bottle that stretches shoes--working on making size 8 booties fit my 8.5 size foot. I had a terrible experience with this service. He was supposed to repair my zipper on my shoes and instead my shoe came back looking worse, the stitching looked really terrible and it looks like a hack job. I could have did it myself. I brought this to his attention and he just made some excuse like that's the old stitching and he wasn't able to get it out and offered no in justification for it. I was very displeased and I will never go there again or recommend anybody go there to get there items fixed because it will just come back looking worse. read more

ZERO STARS! DO NOT GO HERE FOR SHOE CLEANING! We took 3 pairs of Jordan's to this guy to clean. The fee to clean 1 pair is $35.00. He said they would be done in 2 weeks, it took him a month. He did not even clean them. He took shoe polish and painted over the dirt. On top of that, there is different color shoe polish where there isn't supposed to be. He says he doesn't pull out the laces and he doesn't clean the bottoms of the shoe. How can you properly clean a pair of shoes without pulling out the laces? I could have done a better job myself but since these shoes were expensive, I wanted them professionally cleaned. He never mentioned he would be using shoe polish. I would not recommend taking your shoes here for shoe cleaning. There is black shoe polish on the white part of the shoe, he used black shoe polish for the soles on one pair and the sole is supposed to be sparkly and his excuse was..." well I don't have sparkly shoe polish" had I know he was going to use shoe polish over the dirt to "clean" these shoes, I would have never taken them to him. *see photos read more

The owner is an obnoxious and arrigant guy. He insisted on doing what he wanted and refuses to consider what I suggsted and wanted done with my shoes. Then, he dies not set an accurate day and time for pickup. Even if you he's given ample time to work on the shoes, picking it up after a month would still be futile. What a farce. read more

My wife and I both have been going to his business for years, very professional and versed in his craft. It is very hard these days to find such a skilled leather craft person. This is a great owner/operator shoe shop in the Dover Mall. I walked into the store and he had a counter full of various shoes and boots that needed work. I asked to have a pair of quality boots resoled while maintaining the heels and replacing a rivet within 36 hours The owner was nice and explained he could have them in time. The shoes were ready early and polished nicely. The work was solid, the repairs have held up over time and it only cost 25$. All and all a great repair shop with a cool location at the odd/70's style mall entrance next to Boscov's. read more

My boyfriend was ever so kind to drop off a pair of my line dancing boots for me while I was at work. He dropped them off at 10am and was told they would be finished by 6. Alas we show up at 6:15, he hadn't even started on them. We were told that they were next and to come back in 45 mins. 45 mins later he was just then starting on them. The owner needs to hire more help if that is the problem. Quality of workmanship very good, but service is terrible. I dropped 3 pairs of shoes on a Sunday at 11 and said I would be back at 2. Got back at 2 and he hadn't started them. Said he would have them when I came back on Tuesday at 10 when he opened. Waited until 10:20 and he had not showed up. My niece tried to pick them up for me on Wednesday morning and again he said they weren't done. Got there on Thursday and he handed me the wrong shoes! He never apologized for not having them done when he committed to it, no integrity, just that he was a one-man operation and he gets things done when he gets them done. And had the nerve to say I was rude. My advice, call to see if he has them done before you make a trip just to pick them up. read more
