Last month a rock hit my front windshield leaving a crack near the bottom of the heads-up display in my wifes 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE. I first called Safelite Auto Glass and they wanted to charge me $150. When the technician came out he told me he could not repair it because the crack was by the black boarder of the glass. I was told I need a new windshield which costs $1300 because you have to reprogram the heads-up and lane departure lane assist. I decided to leave it because once you change a windshield than it's not the same. This is coming from pass experience which caused me to trade my car in because of wind noise. I was driving in Chino Hills and saw Freddie & Son Auto Glass. It was around 4 PM. I was greeted by a friendly gentleman probably the manager or owner. I asked if it could be fixed and he told me $85 and looked at his phone to track where his workers where. He told me to wait 10 min. When the worker showed up, he fixed it and professionally and cleaned it in 10 minutes. I could not be happier with the work that looks excellent. I am glad I got a second opinion and got it fixed for half the price. I am going to recommend and use Freddie Auto Glass only in the future. read more

They were great when it came to replacing my sons windshield, but when it came to replacing my mothers windshield they failed in a big way.. Appt scheduled for Friday she waited and waited then called and they said they would call her back, and never did so she called again, and they claimed the person with her windshield was stuck in LA, and rescheduled for Monday (today) again she waited and waited then called and the person never showed so she called and they again said they would call her back but never did. 2 days wasted, she called another place a bit further, they replaced her windshied and only charged her 1/2 the price.. Their service was good in terms of them being convenient by coming to me to replace my front windshield. It looked good on the surface but when I traveled a few days later, heard whistling noise coming from the corner of my passenger side most of the 3 hour ride there. These guys are very rude and unprofessional. I would rather pay more to someone else than give them a penny of my money. I needed my windshield replaced. I was told "maybe today or tomorrow". They would "call later today when he was on his way". I heard nothing all day. The next day I called and asked if they were coming out. I was told the windshield had been ordered and had not arrived yet. I said it would have been nice to be told that yesterday. The man on the phone became upset and started lecturing at me. Um? I was never told the windshield had to be ordered. Why would I wait all day if I had known it wouldn't be done until the next day. Then he said he was cancelling my order and hung up. Fast Freddie came out for a mobile windshield replacement. They did the job last minute 1 hour before closing but rushed it and left it looking messy and unprofessional. When they removed my windshield the lower seal between hood and windshield came off as well but was not replaced nor mentioned . Next morning I give a call requesting they come out and see how bad the quality of work was . It took them about 3 weeks to finally make it out just for them to tell me it's only cosmetic and windshield is functional. I wanted the job done right not good enough....... To replace the missing seal I need to re - replace the windshield making the initial job a waste of money and not necessary...... I've been nothing but polite with RUDY the owner but they don't seem to respect there own policy "life time warranty on craftmanship" Overall bad experience don't do business here if you expect a quality job and decent respect read more

If I could leave 0 starts I would! I'm so done being nice! I m a supporter of small businesses and made the huge mistake of trusting a family owned Chino business, to repair my windshield in July, yes that's right, July!!! Moulding came off within 3 days of installation, they came out and literally just popped it back in to place. Needless to say within another couple days it came loose again and then ripped off completely while on the freeway! I have been given the run around for months, I have not once asked for a discount, my money back, or any compensation of the sort, I simply asked for what I payed for multiple times, over and over again until today. NOT ONCE have they been the ones to reach out to me with anything at all, an update, and ETA, a resolution, nothing but a "we'll call the dealer for an update" and that's AFTER I continuously have to follow up. Mind you, I continue to let weeks go in between contact as I know sometimes things happen or are on back order, etc. What I have a problem with is this, lack of communication when you already know I feel I am being taken advantage of, and the lack of urgency to make this right! Funny thing is when I called to have my windshield repaired, they were literally here and gone within 3 hours! Installation was instant! But yet, for a simple piece of moulding in which they had initially, now seems to be impossible to get! I call BS! I have debated for months on posting this, with hopes they would make this right and nothing! I have the messages to back up my claims! This is wrong, I finally said my Husband would be there tomorrow morning and I do want my money back at this point, and was told, I wouldn't get any type of refund and he could go ahead and cancel the order for the moulding and I could get it myself! You can't even tell that it's not the original windshield. Adrian and Andrew are Pros and did a superb job on my windshield. I watched them through the whole process and was very pleased how they cleaned the car and windshield. I strongly recommend this place for both their great prices and great quality of work. Plus the windshield comes with a lifetime warranty if the windshield wasn't put on correctly or something pops up in the future. Just remember to keep your receipt. This is my new go to place for glass. Also, another shop was charging me extra to recalibrate the sensors I have. This did not need to be done. Very pleased. Decently priced windshield. They're about the same price as Safelight. I went here once in 2020. Freddy or whoever is in charge sucks at returning phone calls. I had to keep calling to schedule an appointment and get the status on my vehicle. Each time, he had no clue who I was. They replaced the windshield and it kept whistling. They said they fixed it but it still whistles too this day. I needed another windshield repair in 2022 and I called them. The receptionist was super nice and called me back. Used them 3 yrs ago, they were great so I used them again. This time the price of the windshield was more than double from just 3 yrs ago. Workers damaged my car in the process and said nothing until I asked them what happened. They said it broke due to age but said the office would call me back about fixing it. They left some of the broken pieces on the floor of my car. I waited 3 days and no call. When I called them, the workers hadn't even told the boss about it. I texted pictures to him and waited 5 hrs, no call back. I called him back to make sure he got the pictures and he said they wouldn't fix it because the workers said it wasn't their fault. Their worker did not attach driver side door armrest back on correctly to a 02 Chevy Tahoe. I told Rudy it wasn't like this before and he's arguing with me, "it's normal wear and tear. If you go to a dealer, they will tell you the same thing." Well guess what!!?? I went over to the dealer the same day his guy made his second trip to "fix" the armrest. You know what Robert said at MK Smith on Central??? "No, this is not normal wear and tear. They bent the fabric on the inside and did not place the armrest back in correctly." I set up an appointment to get my front windshield replaced with Fast Freddie and son auto glass. It was scheduled for a Friday at 4 PM and they never showed and they never called. At 4:45 I decided to call them and they had said that my window had received a Nick on it in transit to them. But again no call. So I called them on Tuesday again because they were supposed to call me and set up another follow up appointment. I spoke to the dispatcher at that point and he said he would call me back later that day with an appointment for either Tuesday or Wednesday. Here we are Wednesday afternoon still no call. I called back and they said they were never going to call me..... I went in myself and talked to freddie. I went into the shop to get an estimate and was rudely greeted by the blonde receptionist in the front. I also approached Rudy regarding my estimate and he told me it would be a few minutes. I ended up waiting over 25 minutes and still didn't get an estimate. I ended up leaving and deciding to go to a place that actually knows customer service. In any type of customer service job there's some important lessons Fast Freddie should learn. 1. The customer is always right 2. The customer comes first 3. Don't waste your costumers time 4. Always be polite to the customer (they pay your bills) 5. Maybe invest in some classes on professional development for your employees With that being said don't give this company your business.
