Jennifer and Kerris are so welcoming, friendly and professional. There's such a warm feel to this salon that instantly puts you at ease. The interior is also brilliantly unique - make sure you check out the shelving and lighting in particular! Jennifer has taken such care choosing the products they use - my hot bikini wax was almost painless! Now, I don't normally like stepping into places like this - there are a few other cuprits round here. The main reason is that it associates me with those very fake tanned, thin eyebrowed, fake manicured nail wearing girls some of whom I went to school with. And who I believe to have no other interests other than making themselves look "good." Fortunately when I popped into Tone Tan Tastic I knew it was fine. It looks classier from the outside and is slightly more expensive than the nearest place which offers the same. But trust me its worth it - I went in to use a sunbed which I do basically once or twice every winter, no more. Just to give my skin a perk up, I blame my ex flatmate who used to go to a 50p one all the time. Its friendly, efficient and easy to use in here. I also enquired about their Power Plate exercises - the Tone part. They have 20% off at the moment and it is much cheaper than the studios I went to in London, even without the offer.

Given that this place has huge glass windows showing off the interior and the beauty sessions within, it is very clean and well presented. The staff all look happy and I dare say some of them look very 'tanned'. I'm sure there are cheaper alternatives the closer to the outskirts of the city you get, but it's in a good location for that quick spray tan when you feel too pale to get the train!
