I am very impressed with this company and their cleaners. I booked them for an end of tenancy clean. I was moving out of my flat and it had to be cleaned by professionals in order for me to get my deposit back. I didn't know who to call because they are so many of them online so I contacted my mum. She recommended this company because she's been using them for nearly 10 years now and she is very happy with them. I called them straight away and the booking process went smoothly. They provided me with all the needed information. What really surprised me was the price, for a one bedroom flat they charged me £120. The team arrived on time and the cleaning went very smoothly. They took 3 hours to clean the whole place including the carpet, too. They handled their work in a very professional manner. The place was spotless. There were no hidden charges. The landlord was very pleased with with the end result and I got my deposit back. I will definitely recommend this company to everyone. read more

I purchased a Groupon for a housecleaning service with FastKlean. It was £29 instead of £99 for 2 hours of cleaning by two people, or 4 hours of cleaning by one person. For the price I paid, I'm not hugely dissatified, but this was not a top notch service. The company was terribly disorganized throughout the process of booking the cleaning. They kept calling, texting and emailing both my husband and me to make the booking. After my husband had made the booking, they kept texting me saying we hadn't. The day before our cleaning, they called to change the time of the cleaning. When my husband called back, they changed it back to the original time. I found this really frustrating and unprofessional. Our cleaner arrived almost 20 minutes late, and although we were booked for 8am-10am (thus, I assumed we'd have 2 cleaners), only one man showed up. If I had made any appointments for later in the morning, I would have had to cancel or miss them as I needed to be in the house to "sign off" on the cleaning at the end. Our cleaner ultimately did about 3.5 hours of work, rather than 4, but to be fair, he had completed the service in that time. The quality of the cleaning is fine, but it's not exceptional. For instance, I had to specifically ask him to clean the top of the stove, which had been overlooked when he initially cleaned the kitchen. I would definitely not pay £100 for this service nor would I recommend them to friends. While I accept that FastKlean may have been somewhat overwhelmed by the number of people who booked this service through Groupon, I ultimately think they should have been prepared for that before they offered the deal. read more

I'm dropping them down to 1 star because they've harassed me non-stop since writing this review. They've actually been quite accommodating and have offered to provide me with a free replacement cleaning, but they've been persistent to the point that it's invasive and uncomfortable. I don't want another cleaning. I simply want to be left alone. I have specifically asked them several times to please not contact me anymore, yet they keep on contacting me. Furthermore, they get pissed at me for not returning their calls, despite the fact that I'm a busy person and don't have the time to speak with them. Aw I feel bad seeing the low ratings for these guys. I have been availing of their service for the past couple of years and perhaps I can provide a more long-term view of their service quality, not based only on their Groupon offer. They employ cleaners who are reliable and regular. I like the timely communication from the agency if the cleaner expects to be on holiday or if she happens to run late for any reason. Similarly, I can always go through the company if I have special needs like switching my cleaning schedule around. I am broadly happy with their service and may even rate it 3.5 stars but not 4 stars because the ultimate day-to-day happiness with the service really depends on who comes to your house regularly. My cleaner in my first year of service was amazingly thorough (a 5-star!) and efficient even if she spoke broken English. When I renewed the contract after the break of a few months, I got someone who was lackadaisical AND surly (2-star!) so I asked the agency to send me someone else and my current cleaner is cheerful and efficient but not as thorough as I would like, so strictly a 3 star. Unprofessional and poor service. We had an oven service performed, which was incomplete: residue left in the oven cavity, doors; doors, hinges, and seals not clean. While we immediately disputed, provided photographic evidence, and the case was "pending" the company still took advantage of having our credit card number and collected full payment. After the fact they pointed to their terms that state no refund. Complete disregard for customer satisfaction and no integrity. Avoid at all costs! read more

Thank you for the end of tenancy cleaning service. I felt very demotivated and obnoxious when I had to move out of my flat as I knew it had to be cleaned very well before the inventory check. That is why I am very strict when it comes to choosing the right cleaning company. When your professional cleaners came and started cleaning, I wasn't sure what to tell the cleaners and what to expect from them. I can now say that my flat was absolutely perfect. It was good to hear that you also offered steam cleaning of the bathrooms and toilets, because these are the rooms that attract most of the germs and bacteria. The cleaners knew exactly what to do and how to clean everything. Thank you for all the great work and for saving me my deposit. You did a fantastic job and I am looking forward to finding out more about all the different services that you offer. My experience of Fastklean was velvet customer responses - matched by a disorganised service. Despite having been promised the cleaners would be briefed, and after 2 phone calls and a summary of what I wanted in writing, the cleaners arrived, didn't speak English and had no idea of what I had asked for. They tried hard but in the end didn't do what I had asked.The carpet and upholstery cleaning was mediocre too. check whether the cleaners speak english or have been given the rt instructions before accepting. read more

If you need your place cleaned, please run away from this company, and fast!. I booked an after building work clean. First of all they advised me that I needed 5 people during 5 hours (for 2 empty flats with totally new - and empty - kitchens and bathrooms). I thought it was overdoing it but I thought, they haven't seen the space maybe thay do not realise... So I dropped the number from 5 to 4 people for 5 hours. They were very difficult to start with and called me 3 times and sent me an email all in the first 20 minutes to tell me that there were still builders onsite that stopped them doing the works. The builders were actually in the communal area on the ground floor which I did not ask them to clean and did not stop them doing anything (the flats are on the 2nd and 3rd floors). I arrived 30 minutes after they should have started (30 minutes of 4 people = 2 hours of work) and NOTHING had been done. I explained to them everything that needed doing and came back 2 hours later (2 hours x 4 people = 8 hours). They had only cleaned 2 (tbrand new and empty) bathrooms not including the floors of the bathrooms or any floor at all ... I was so mad that I called the office who were incredibly rude and suggested I had prevented them working because of the builders being in the hallway 2 floors down from where the cleaning was supposed to happen. The situation was so bad that I asked them to leave and did all the cleaning myself (with the help of one builder we finished everything in 2 hours...). So in the end I paid £200 and did the cleaning myself ! I must point out that they were so dishonest that eventhough I specifically said that I would not pay more than the deposit they still charged my card without my permission.. I will definetly follow this up and call fraud services. read more

I would not recommend this company to any one. by mistake if you go through fastklean company, make sure they give you the right price and confirm with them that u want to clean 2 or 3 bedrooms. i booked to clean my carpet 2 bed and sitting room charged me 72 pounds which is good, but when the cleaner turned up he made a call to office and the office phoned saying they only clean 2 bedroom, so i have to pay another 40 pounds to clean the sitting room....(haha i will not pay that cos am not stupid) i have cancelled not to clean...GOD but they still charged me.... world is not all about money mr FASTKLEAN.... very unprofessional........i feel sorry for the carpet cleaner guy that he gets only %40 to %50 percent of the money we pay..... read more

WARNING 1 STAR IS TOO KIND - THE WORST CLEANING COMPANY IN LONDON!!!!!! DON'T BE FOOLED BY CHEAP PRICE! We had filming at our block and needed 3 flats and the stairwells cleaning. we had 3 hours booked in each flat and an additional carpet cleaner to do the stairwell. I am absolutely amazed how they took 3 hours in each flat, considering they hadn't done so much. The man in mine moaned i had too much on the worktops (cooking oils, toaster etc) so as far as i can see he only cleaned the hob, the oven door and moped the floor. Crumbs were lef ton the worktops and nothing was moved. They left dirty cups in the sink (which could of been loaded into dishwasher) They didnt clean the sink even incidentally. The rubbish bag was left there too. In the other room he definitely polished as i saw, but didn't even mop the floor, leaving the footprints and stage make up there which was the main reason the had been booked. When i asked if he had moped he answered "your mop is shit, it no good" which was strange as apart from being fairly new, I would of expected them to bring their own kit. In my neighbours flat they didnt even vacuum the rug or main room. He had not even mopped the kitchen floor or vancumed the bedrooms. The carpet cleaner was the biggest joke as he DIDN'T EVEN VACUM BEFORE CLEANING!! He dragged wet water over a carpet that desperately needed hoovering. The damage on the stairs caused by the filming (lots of cake trodden into carpet) wasnt even touched. He didn't have any suitable tools to scrape it up. I lent him a spatula. He was like a teenage son that had been asked to do something, all he did was moan it was too difficult before giving up before trying. He wasted so much time not doing it but complaining I asked him to just hoover. He started then his head office called and demanded he put down the vacuum (mine incidentally as he didnt have one) as they had reached the 3 hours. What a waste of money. Was so refreshing to see a good company here earlier, who were cheery, didnt complain, got down on their hands and knees and scrubbed of the cake in under an hour. ANYONE WHO BOASTS 'FAST' AND SPELLS CLEAN WITH A 'K' IS CLEARLY NOT THE CLEANING COMPANY TO CALL. read more

I procured this company to clean two carpets and a sofa. I was assured from a representative on the telephone that this company covered upholstery as well as carpets. When the clown who turned up he said they didn't do sofas. The carpets were then cleaned to a poor standard. AVOID. read more

I was happy with the administrator who helped me book the service. However, it ended there. I had an 8 hour general clean of my 5 bedroom house (it is usually done by my cleaner in 6 hours each week), and I was very unhappy. The male cleaner didn't even think about moving the sofa to hoover underneath, or lift a bowl to wipe under, or wipe the obviously marked kitchen cabinet doors (even though I had specified this). When they left, they didn't put back any of the cleaning products I provided them with or the hoover or mop. Additionally, he and the lady cleaner argued constantly. FastKlean have since told me this is his normal volume of communication but I don't think that can be quite right. To be fair to FK, they apologised and offered me a £20 voucher for the next time (over my dead body), but the service itself was sadly appalling. Fantastic Cleaners is much better. read more

The cleaner sent by FastKlean to clean my one bedroom flat in preparation for rental did a good job, arrived on time and was honest. She found a gold necklace in the empty flat and returned it to me. The management of FastKlean, however, is dishonest. I asked for 7 hours - an additional hour to clean the blinds - but FastKlean only booked the cleaner for 6 hours. I discussed the matter with management after the cleaner said she had to leave after 6 hours. They told me I would only be charged for the 6 hours of cleaning I received, but they went on to charge me for 7 hours. They even went so far as to take the balance from my credit card. I had given them a deposit for the service. I received 6 hours of work and was charged for 7. I will never use this dishonest service again and don't recommend it. read more

Booked for an end of tenancy clean. Said they were not aware property would be so dirty. Did not clean the majority of the flat. In rooms they said they had completely finish there was still dust bunnies on the floor. One of the cleaners was not there for the majority of the time and yet this is apparently part of the cost. They do not use a steam cleaner or any proffesional equipment. I am having to book for another company to come and still complete an end of tenancy clean. V. dissapointed. read more

Sadly this company does not deserve even this one star. The cleaners I used are below poor. Then I booked a carpet cleaner and told them to bring carpet protection while they where caring the machine several floor up. On the day a guy came without speaking one word of English and destroyed my carpet on the steps and I was chasing them until now to pay for the damage ( ca. £ 1000 ). After that, FastKlean insisted on sending over a second person the next day to clean the damaged carpet. They said his machine was leaking and that was the reason for the damage. However, when the second person showed up, he TOO CAME WITHOUT CARPET PROTECTION and WITH THE SAME BROKEN MACHINE. Even tough they are saying all of the workman are insured, believe me, they are not, My security company has downloaded CCTV footage from inside my house as proof of the damaged carpet. That did not matter to them apparently because the only time i heard from them was only after i posted a bad review! They pretend they are deaf and not there as they did not reply to ANY of my messages. In fact, the employee I spoke to on the phone was actually trying to aggressively pursue me to take it down. I had a very bad experience with this company. I contracted them for an end of tenancy clean. When I went to inspect the clean the cleaner told me he was in a hurry so I quickly inspected the property and it looked ok. Then, as soon as he rushed off, I took a closer look and discovered that many things had not been done - windows had not been cleaned, nor had many surfaces and skirting boards. I had to rush back to work so could not wait around for the cleaner to return to do the job he should have done. I was nevertheless charged the full amount for the (terrible) service. I booked FastKlean for an End of Tenancy clean for a 1 bedroom flat in November. The cleaning was completed to such a poor standard that the independent check-out agent recommended that the cleaning be redone entirely. In addition, the cleaner damaged the wardrobe in my bedroom during the cleaning and despite repeated complaints FastKlean have not issued a refund or compensated me for the damage caused by their cleaner, despite me sending them the check-out report and speaking with their office manager at length by phone. They have offered to redo the cleaning, however I have not accepted this offer due to the damage which the cleaner caused during their first visit (and they have not compensated me for) I recommend that this company is avoided. read more

Booked for a cleaner and window cleaner to attend during which damaged was caused to my blinds. I took up complaint with customer services but both denied and customer services says there is nothing they can do and that their staff are very responsible and reliable, implying that I am not. The damage would not cost much to repair so disappointed that company could not offer me anything, especially considering I have used them many times in the past for carpet cleaning. I purchased a 4 hour clean specifying that the property had already been cleaned but particular areas required a more thorough/deep clean: oven, washing machine & fridge. When the cleaner arrived, on time and very friendly I purposely highlighted these area as priority. Therefore I was a little confused that when I returned from work the inside of the oven & racks were exactly the same as I had left them, and the only thing on the washing machine that seemed to have been cleaned was the soap dispenser - the rubber around the door and the door still had the same (quite obviously mildew). I then proceeded to check the rest of the property to try and determine where the 4 hours had been spent and really couldn't work it out, shower screen not cleaned, dust still in all the places it was when I left etc etc. What was more concerning however was the complete lack of accountability that I received when I contacted Fastklean about this. As it seems that not only did they believe that 4 hours wasn't enough time to clean the property, the cleaner had tried his best and my mop was dirty! Now I think I speak for most when I say that 4 hours is without doubt more than enough time to clean an oven & washing machine - along with a few other things....and I responded as such. Along with explaining (again!!) that the floor had already been cleaned, didn't require a further clean, hence the mop not being clean. They also highlighted that as I wasn't able to get back from work in time to inspect the work, 'the company reserves the right to refuse any claims or request made by the client'. In hindsight yes I clearly should have checked the work while the cleaner was still there but I was going on my previous experience with cleaners and such inspection to ensure the basics have been done has never been required. Also, that really isn't going about obtaining custom in regular cleaning from these one off cleans - who wants a regular cleaner that you have to follow around and check!! They went on to offer a small % off my next clean, which was clearly missing the point - I wasn't looking for discount on further cleans, I wanted an explanation why the work I had paid for, wasn't done. I explained all this clearly in my second email, to which I received no response. Poor cleaning, and even worse customer service. read more

I got an email after arranging with them saying they won't take any cleaning tools including a vacuum machine. You have to pay another 40 quids for them to bring a vacuum machine. i bought a groupon voucher for this company months ago and when i finally gave this as a present for my daughter i wish i hadn't as the voucher was advertised for £99.00 and i was getting the offer for £29.00 not knowing that she had to supply her OWN equipment and the service itself was appalling i will stay well clear of this company and stick to anyclean in the future! read more

The worst experience! I strongly advice against using FastKlean at any cost. We paid for a 5hour after-builders "cleaning" job however there was no change to the dust/dirt following the job. We paid them to do the job ourselves and get another company to do it. The most infuriating part of the experience however is the incredibly TERRIBLE customer service dealing with the issue. I chased FastKlean for 3 weeks to get a response with photo evidence. They proposed multiple (false) excuses for the poor job, hilariously claiming customer service is of paramount importance to them and eventually offered me discounted cleaning in the future which was at that stage both laughable and incensing. Clearly I will not pay someone not to do a cleaning job again. Eventually I spoke to the MD (having asked for this from day 1) who apologised for their lack of response and has now refunded 1/3 of the cost back only. I remain dissatisfied but have run out of energy. Message - AVOID. read more
