Their own staff documented "caps has come off, small acid leakage, lid is lifted" in handwriting on their claim form. Their own test showed 156 CCA capacity loss. Despite all this, owner Jimmy Lipps personally denied warranty by phone, claiming exposed cell caps with leaking acid are acceptable on a battery marketed as "Sealed Ultimate AGM." Vehicle would not start within an hour of leaving the store. Save your money and buy elsewhere.

About an hour later I got a call from Travis informing me that my phone was 'ready for pickup'; upon arrival he told me there was a problem and the back panel of my screen was cracked. We spent the next hour on the phone with Assurant who only offered to replace my phone for $95 plus tax but Batteries Plus could offer no remediation until the manager Mika was available the next day. Travis cancelled my claim and I went home to process payment for replacement phone with Assurant for a total of $105 after spending an hour on the phone trying to get an answer as to why Assurant and Batteries Plus does not have a process for handling such cases (damages by technicians). I was basically left on my own to find a solution or try to recover the out of pocket money from Batteris Plus. Next morning, I got a call from Mika at Batteries Plus who offered to replace the back panel. However, I already processed a claim and my replacement phone is scheduled to arrive today. Mika told me "life happens" he didn't apologize for the damage caused at his store, by his tecnician and did not offer to assume any financial responsibility for the $105 that I had to pay. That should have been my first clue to not move forward with doing any work with him. He did in fact show up on time, as others have noted, to work on my travertine floors. After discussing the work and showing him what I wanted, he was left to do the work. I did move some items for him, but assumed he would move the last remaining lighter table as he moved along the job. I was wrong, he actually worked either around them or just moved them over. Getting his buffing machine close to the table. Armando did put in a very long day, which was another odd clue. In the past I used another company and they were done in a few hours. He was there for almost eight hours. Upon arriving home I was in shock at the job. All the areas he had worked on were now matte. He lifted whatever shine the floors had. I related my disappointment about the job and he gave the floor another buffing along the long hallway and I barely saw a difference. After about half an hour and exhaustingly explaining to him that the floors are the same I asked him to leave. Currently waiting on another company to polish the floors back to their natural shine. The main reason I even used him was based on the two Yelp reviews and was set back when I saw the poor work and attitude. Not sure if this is an isolated matter or it was just my job, but it appears as he was not knowledgeable on how to do his work. The front desk would have immediately called me to ask if they can come up and begin. When I called Camilo he at first didn't answer and then eventually did. He had nothing but excuses becoming angry and trying to blame me for his and his companies terrible service.
