This place can be easily missed if you're along Sucat road because it's quite discreet-looking and has no parking. But inside is a different story--the vibe is reminiscent of Bellini's. It's cozy, homey, and filled with Italian-themed decor, a leaning tower of Pisa, and so on. You'll forget that you're in bustling, polluted Sucat road! We got the Aglia Oglio Pasta, and a Mushroom Risotto (that they made vegan just for me! Just ask nicely). Both dishes were really topnotch and exceeded our expectations (though to be honest, we had none at this particular time. I mean, any meal after a 10-hour trip from Vigan, Ilocos will be satisfying). Their servers are very accommodating, and at that time they were offering us these really fresh, gigantic portobello mushrooms they had that looked so tempting (but were quite pricey--though to be honest, I STILL think about that moment. Had a wonderful, late dinner here with family and enjoyed the spinach dip and tuyo/anchovies salad (both delicious starters); then the lamb chops and pesto pasta for main....excellent texture and balance of spices. A number of pastas are mixed in that wheel and it makes for a very good cheesy rich pasta. Their menu has designated spot for the pastas that are mixed in the wheel. If you do go here, you've got to make it a point to try one of them. Do not bother to order their fried calamari or in their menu it called frittata de pesci (fried seafood) - i ordered it and requested squid only.... It was tasteless, very disappointing . My sister, the self-proclaimed expert describes it as, "it's light and smooth and has a special cream cheese flavor that makes it seem like the maker took her time in mixing it" To her, this was the real deal. To me, it tasted wonderful just like all the other things you can eat in this restaurant. Their pizzas, pastas and appetizers were all equally as good. I do think that opening a branch in Tagaytay makes the restaurant even better. Now, foodies have another reason to drive up there.

The place is a great setting for a power lunch, "ladies who lunch", or a very nice dinner. I ordered a bellini and it was great. Not too sweet and just the right alcohol content. For the meal we ordered the lobster ravioli and a meat pizza. My only critique of the meal is that although the pizza was good, perhaps a Neapolitan style would make it more authentic and differentiate from other available pizzas. The service was exceptional. The prices were reasonable for what we ordered. I noticed in the menu other full meal classic Italian meals for moderate prices.One more critique, the tiramisu seemed like it was not thawed out enough indicating too frozen. The cappuccinos were deftly made with authentic italian brew. All ingredients were authentic including the gorgonzola cheese on the salads. I ordered the panna cotta with mango which was a large slice but was firmer and lacked a certain creaminess than I expected. At least the mango slices and sauce added some sweetness to offset. I understand that things are different here in the PI. I'm amazed that there is so much variety among restaurants. But it is not the fault of the locals when the restaurant company gives them cheap tools and products just to cut costs! Bad cooking is something else, though. A horrible experience at a Mesa restaurant actually made my wife go back in the kitchen and show the chef in training how to make adobo! Overall, I love the PI and the local cuisine.
