This was wonderful surprise to find this new, chill, clean and very friendly brewery! It was recommended to us by an Air B and B owner. Glad we stopped to check it out. The beer was fresh and the current seasonal cider was fantastic (triple berry). We started with two appetizers: garlic knots with their pub beer cheese dip and one of the BEST spinach artichoke dips we have had in a long time: sooooo yummy! We got a Caesar salad and pizza "to go" because we were quit full after the apps. There are TVs for watching then latest sports and different table sizes; it's just a fun place to hang out and RELAX. Another great afternoon at the Toad. We were starving so we started with the garlic knots with the beer cheese. Save any leftover cheese for your pizza crusts. We then split a house salads. Those croutons (which almost look like chicken chunks in the picture) are amazing. We then tried the Sticky Pig. It was good but the honey sauce seemed to make the crust a bit soggy. It was a rainy afternoon when we were there and I just love the coziness of the taproom. The covered patio area is great on nice days. read more

Little small place in the middle of nowhere, serving well above average beer and decent food. The pizza is very tasty Services outstanding and they probably have 20 beers on tap while we were there. They had a trivia game which we passed on since it seemed to be for the locals and the guy on the mic, was likely a local. He looked like a retired biker just hanging out having fun. But we didn't do trivia. We just had some beer and food and was around the corner from the hotel that we stayed at. Definitely, worth a stop.. read more

Love this spot for pizza and craft beer! Today we got to take advantage of the outdoor patio with our 3 dogs on our way home from a camping trip. The parking lot is nice and big for a travel trailer to park. You order at the bar and order pizza at the pizza counter, and they deliver to the table, so service is very simple for staff. It's in a beautiful building, and the outdoor area is very nice. Delicious food and great beer. read more

After living all around the US, Fat Toads is the perfect little piece of modern civilization with its micro brewery vibes and its wood fire pizza. They have pizza of the month and seasonal beers keeping the menu always fresh or intriguing to try something new. The bar tenders are great and the service is pretty fast even if the place is slammed. I always bring my out of town friends to this place it's a true modern gem of Pryor. read more

The beer is fantastic and the pizzas are delicious. The last time we were here we tried The Critter an interesting mix of pineapple, jalapenos, sausage, and Canadian bacon. A new favorite is the cerveza which is served with a salted rim and lime. We sat at the bar and service was great. We liked the cerveza so much that we bought a six pack to bring home. I gotta start by letting the folks know this is the first brewery in not only the city of Pryor but also Mayes County! Where this is a small spot just off a main highway and located near the industrial park, it's pretty darn cool. It has a nice size private parking lot and ample seating inside. It appears to hold at least 40 patrons. They offer a variety of beers made in house and feature beers from other brewers. I enjoyed a full pour of the Bobs IPA and found it to be full bodied and flavorful. It hit the spot and quenched my IPA craving. I only sampled the one beer and sat at the main bar that has the beer taps. The decor inside is par for the course for a brew house and is trendy/old school. I enjoy dark hardwoods and it really ties in with the homegrown grass roots drinks they offer. Overall great experience. Service was good, the beer was good and I like that they bring in local good trucks to serve the customers some grub as they don't have a kitchen. A local favorite MooseTrax foods was onsite the night I was here. read more

Fat Toad has great beer! I just spent the last 4 years working in the micro brewery cultural center of Michigan. Places like Grand Rapids where the #1 IPA in the USA is brewed. I came back home to find Fat Toad right here close to home. I was amazed at the diversity and quality of the beers they offer. They have a Hazelnut Nut Brown Ale that, no-kidding, is one of the two most unique beers I have ever tasted. I like Bob's IPA. They fill growlers and even introduced a new one to me... 'Squealers'. This was our first time here! At first, a wee bit skeptical. We got here around 6pm on a Saturday and only a few cars in the parking lot. Went in and ordered a pizza and pretzel at a food counter. Then ordered a beer and a cider from the bar. Went out to the patio and this is where it became an awesome experience. We loved the wide range of music and the atmosphere was so relaxed. Now for the pizza...it was pretty good. The pretzel was very good. But the beer was excellent. As the evening progressed, the place filled up. But it remained a very nice place to sit and sip beer. You know what I mean when you go to a brewery and they expect you to eat and get out? Not here. We loved it. Nestled in this small town in the Cherokee Nation of Northeastern Oklahoma, you'll find a brew pub absolutely unique to the area. Try the milk stout and the scotch ale and you'll fall in love. The service is amazing and the folks who own/run the place have deep roots in the community. Great beer, great prices, and close enough to Google, and lakes and wilds to give anyone a needed break from both, and well worth a drive from nearby Tulsa. Find the time and treat yourself!!
