I have been following along on social media and was so excited to try these cookies. They are hyped up quite a bit and fell flat for me. I bought 6 different cookies and a brownie and each was just okay. The brownie was likely the best as it had the most and best flavor. The cookies and brownies are a good size, but I expect more from a cookie that costs $3 and a brownie that costs $6. read more

I took my husband on a wild goose chase to find this teeny little wire stand in the market district. I wasn't even going to buy one.. because I thought if they looked like what they tasted like (none of them had expiration dates.... so I have no idea how long they've been tossed around in this basket... and by the looks of the stand.. it's been a while before anyone gave it love).. it was going to be a disappointment.. but how could Yelp be that far off.. so for $3 we did it. Dry, crumbly and lacking anything to rave about. Just don't do it... there are so many more places to get a good cookie or treat around here.. this goes down as something we are going to laugh about for a while. read more

Not worth the hype. Though I am a chocolate snob-the choco chip cookie looked good-tasted ok. I feel like maybe a low quality chocolate was used. I had one cookie years ago that had Oreo in it. I've only bought Fat T's Cookies from The Northside Market a couple of times. I buy them on Friday on my way home from work just after 4:30pm a couple hours after they have restocked their baskets. This is a review of those cookies. I've bought the following cookies: pumpkin, chocolate with peanut butter chips, chocolate chips, Cookie Monster, and Cinnamon Bun chocolate chip. The Pumpkin cookie was so soft and like eating pumpkin pie--delicious. All the cookies had the following characteristics. They were delicious. I don't know how to describe delicious but it was delicious. Quality ingredients. Nothing inferior. I would describe them as small batch cookies from a small business owner. Nothing fancy or large scale that sacrifices quality. All of them were fat! Lol. All were fresh and moist. Some folks have described them as gooey but I don't think I had that experience with the cookies I got. They weren't hockey pucks but they weren't gooey like Insomnia cookie. Insomnia cookies are gooey. These were soft in the center and the further you got from the center the harder it got. They didn't crunch or crumble too much. I could eat them in my car and not worry too much about crumbles. Warning: you should probably just eat one in a 12 hour period. Lol. They have so much sugar etc., especially the Cookie Monster because it's essential one cookie inside another, that it made my stomach sick when I ate two cookies. read more

I bought the Cookie Monster, #MooseHouse, Four the Love of Chocolate, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and the OG. Normally wouldn't splurge so greatly, but there was a really good sale that basically gave me free shipping. I heard these freeze well, so I'm testing that out! 1. Cookie Monster: a winter special item, containing milk chocolate and a cookie dough center. I was so surprised at how chewy & soft it was since it looked kinda hard! I also microwaved half of it for ~20 seconds and would definitely recommend that for anyone who loves gooey, warm deliciousness. My only critique is that it was a bit sweet (I couldn't finish a whole cookie in one sitting), but I think that's a personal thing because I always prefer dark/slightly bitter chocolate to milk or white chocolate. 2. #MooseHouse: Whoa. I should've bought more of these because it is peanut butter goodness! It is a chocolate dough cookie, filled with a PB cup and topped with fudge drizzle. If you like peanut butter cups (the only form of milk chocolate I love) and soft cookies, look no further. I couldn't rate it anything less than 5 stars cause I think owner is super cute too lol read more

I really enjoy getting these cookies when they come to my hometown. They freeze well and even a short blip in the microwave makes them extra gooey and fun to eat. I highly recommend not eating the entire cookie (or brownie when they're available!) at once since they're so big. Plus you can enjoy them longer. He is really accessible online/through social media to answer questions, provide ingredient information and offer deals pretty frequently. Every blue moon, I go in search of cookies online from companies that deliver nationwide. It's not that we don't have good cookies here in Virginia, but great are few and far between. I specifically recall having about ten different companies open on my browser simultaneously. I was removing them one by one and Fat T's was the last one open. I had just about given up hope and found myself on the verge of settling for a cookie I'd ordered before from another company. After viewing the selections (and the backstory of Fat T's), I figured I'd give it a try. Most of the cookie selections fall right in line with what I'd typically order so I was optimistic. From placement of the order to arrival at my door took about six days which is more than acceptable. I ordered a nine-cookie variety pack. I'm about six cookies down and they are phenomenal. I have yet to find one that I wouldn't enjoy more of. Fat T's will definitely be my go-to cookie for myself and my family moving forward when we look to indulge. I had the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie and it was mediocre. Not bad, but I've tasted better ones. I do like that you Can purchase singles cookies (at Acme). It does have giant peanut butter chips in them and it's a thick cookie. But other than that, I'll keep looking for a better tasting one. read more

Absolutely LOVE Fat T's Cookies, they are delicious and well made cookies that are made with real ingredients (not just random chemicals!). I have sent 5+ boxes of cookies to friends across the United States and they now are all huge fans of the Fat T cookies! Very average cookies. Hard to find location, it way off in a back corner. No one at shop. Very little selection day we were there.

I love these cookies. Been ordering through a friend since 2019. My kids love the Cookie Monster ones when we can get them. I'm in California and wish I was closer, because UPS seems to think the box is a soccer ball and I got a bunch of little cookies instead of one big one. They are still always top notch cookies in my opinion. read more

Stopped at their booth at the 720 market and I have to say, maybe next time they should put samples out! Paid upwards of $16.00 for a sample pack of cookies and they were NOT GOOD. Description says they are "chewy" mine were DRY, not sure if they were just made so far in advance or what but myself, husband and the kids were dissappointed, my son who is an absolute sweets lover threw his away after two bites. Probably my fault for buying so many without trying first, but lesson learned. I will say the people working the booth were really nice, I wanted to love these cookies but they definitely fell short, especially for the price. read more

These cookies are so delicious that I wish they could be mailed to my house weekly! I learned about this business when a coworker mailed me a sampler 6 pack when I had a baby a few months back. Since then, I have been ordering cookies to have shipped to various friends on their birthdays as my way of celebrating them in COVID times. I have also done another order for myself! All cookies are chewy, moist and packed with flavor. My favorite would have to be the Cinn City, which was a cinnamon swirled chocolate chip cookie with thick, creamy icing. I found them via the gram, couldn't get them because I wasn't gonna order a box and be disappointed, ended up finding them at a desert show and not necessarily fell in love but I am a monthly subscriber and if I run out I get them at a local shop they sell at. The cinn city and moose heads are the big hitters, cannot go wrong. The OG is not as good as my moms but i would eat that every day for the rest of my life. Put them in the oven and heat that cookie up and it's perfect. read more

First time trying fat t's and I'm impressed! The texture is firm yet soft, the cookies seem to melt in your mouth. I would say they have great flavor but it's not 100% to die for flavor. I'd definitely pick up a few cookies again but I wouldn't go out of my way for them. If you like your cookies on the dryer/harder side you'll be satisfied but don't think these will be super chewy! read more
