Food and service was awesome. Went there for a wedding cake tasting. Angela was very nice and attentive to us. Dessert was really good as well, had a lot of flavors we could try. We tried chocolate, red velvet, and vanilla cake. With Oreo butter cream, cream cheese frosting, chocolate mousse, and chocolate butter cream. The frostings were light and creamy. The cake had a small issue that they fixed right away when we discussed it. They take all feedback to help make the experience better. We even tried their tiramisu, which was excellent as well. All in all I'd recommend them as a bakery and as a wedding dessert place. These were some of the driest desserts I have ever had. The sugar cookie was hard as a rock, crunchy and flavorless. The Pecan Tassie was a rip off, $1.75 for a mouthful of dry crust. The Carrot Cake was topped with a bright orange whipped frosting, would not recommend any of the desserts to my worst enemy. read more

A nice assortment of baked goods served with a smile! The staff here is very friendly and chatted with my husband and I amicably while we tried to decide what to choose from the pastry case on Monday morning. There were several beautifully decorated cakes and other niceties but we opted for a chocolate croissant and a chocolate cherry shortbread, along with a coffee to go. They serve Caruso's coffee which I love so I couldn't pass that up! The croissant was pretty good once we got home and warmed it up, and my shortbread was good as well (of course the coffee was excellent). A little pricier than some of the other places in town but all in all a good experience. Stopped by here to purchase some desserts for later in the day. Didn't have time to make anything myself. I was able to park near the entrance. The bakery is doing an excellent job of following COVID safety protocols. A mask is needed to enter. The staff was helpful and friendly. There was a good selection of items I could purchase. Everything was very fresh. There were unique baked good too. Excellent customer service! My items were packaged very well. Everyone I purchased desserts for very much enjoyed eating them. I've been coming here for years and the products are fresh and delicious. They also serve soup which is a real treat. The workers are friendly and polite. There is a relaxed and happy vibe. Called in advance to hold some items for me and they were ready. Their prices are higher than a large bakery but you can taste the quality and items used in baking are not inexpensive. I stopped in at 10:15 on 4/18 after a nearby doctors appointment. Ive shopped many times before. This time there were no pastries available. Full 1/2 of the cases were empty. One of the scone varieties were undersized. The blueberry scones were scooped with an ice cream scoop. I did buy two pecan rolls that were a big disappointment. There was a light sprinkling of pecan surely not enough to be pecan rolls. All in all this was a very disappointing experience. I may try again in the future, but I certainly won't go out of my way to shop there. read more

We ordered their Lemon Ricotta cookie, Chocolate Chip cookie, Turtle Torte, tiramisu Torres, Cannoli and mini cheesecake. They were all really delicious. Ordered a banana cake with pineapple filling for a birthday. Cake was beautiful but inedible. the pineapple filling was obviously spoiled and had a chemical odor. Noone ate their piece and we threw out 2/3 of the cake. I wrote the bakery telling them the pineapple filling was not good - waited over a week and received no response. I have had other things that were excellent from this bakery, but something was definitely wrong with this cake. For $38 I expected at least a response from the bakery but I received nothing. Very disappointed in their lack of customer support/feedback. Guess once they get your money they could care less if you're satisfied. read more

Located in a charming little area. I drove into the parking lot around 3 pm and for a brief moment, I forgot I was in Akron! The cakes are probably the best in the city. I walked in and the ladies at the counter immediately greeted me and offered help. After glancing at what was available, I ordered a small vegan cinnamon spice cake (?) and some cookies. The cookies were delicious, although they might be softer and tastier if I had visited in the morning and the cookies were fresh out of the oven. The cake was absolutely delightful, a pleasant surprise! I did not think a vegan cake could be so delicious! The cream was heavy, which is to be expected. The texture of the cake was soft, and yet I could taste the cinnamon flavor. It was like heaven! The prices are not unreasonable either. As a side note, they do not normally carry their full selection of vegan desserts (which you can find on their website). This is understandable since veganism is not as prevalent in Ohio. If desiring a particular item, it may be necessary to call ahead of time to order. Ultimately, it's nice to find a bakery of this caliber here in Akron! read more

We ordered an assortment of pies to bring to a client meeting on Pi Day, and the person I spoke with over the phone recommended pecan, sour cherry (with a killer crumble on top), and chocolate mousse.
