I just hired them and Mike was phenomenal. He took Covid precautions and went far above and beyond the call requested without extra charge. His price was reasonable, his work exceptional and he fixed issues that he noticed (like fixing my gate when he was only there for sprinklers). A pipe under my mobil home busted they day before Thanksgiving 2021. They came out and wanted to buy my home on a rent to own but I refused. The father picked my home apart on the phone with his wife. I was told they would be back the friday after Thanksgiving. Before the dad left, he ask his son for some money. I gave him 40.00 to take off the bill. Friday, I called and texted them all day. Finally in the late afternoon I get a text back from the son stating a tree fell in his grandma's yard and when cleaned up, they would call. Saturday i get the same run around so I demanded my 40.00 back and told them to forget working for me. I still don't have my money and now I'm complaining to the state. read more

!!!!!DO NOT HIRE!!!!!!!! Mike was hired by my partner and I for a full home remodel, it was a large project and Mike mentioned he could do it in 6 weeks. As the 6 weeks came up Mike was not half way through and was hardly at the home working when we showed up. So at that point payments had stopped because job was not completed and it was past completion date. Then "unknowingly" hundreds of dollars worth in materials started missing from the project. Mike was asked about this and stated he used some on his own home without asking and blamed the rest on his workers and said take it off my pay. 5 MONTHS!! Later mike is still not done with the home and no pay has been given to him and materials keep missing on top of that he is working other jobs and paying little to no time to our project. We also noticed mikes crew slowly decreasing in size till the point he was working alone I asked his workers and he said mike did not pay them and he owes them all money. Finally mike was fired from the job once we noticed he was very behind taking his sweet time and doing a VERY poor job and making a mess everywhere all over the Floors, windows, and walls inside and outside with paint and grout. We did notice this but having little knowledge about it asked mike and he said it'll be an easy clean up which he lied we had to call a professional floor cleaning company that did everything they could even cleaning with acid and it did not come off. On top of all this we were going through the orders mike made at home Depot and we noticed he ordered a lot of extra materials that were never used and he over ordered a lot of items that were needed as mentioned we have little knowledge about what's needed and he took advantage of us and ordered extra stuff for himself. When mike left the home was not completed therefore all materials should of been there and a very few items were left. We tried to work with mike gave him chances and mentioned we gave him 5 months despite our hurry and all our accumulated costs and we continued to pay him very small amounts despite not being done. Overall we overpaid him with cash and the amount that he took from us ordering extra materials and the "missing materials" came out to be very expensive and way over our agreed price. Please don't make the same mistake as I did and learn from it. Mike seemed like an awesome guy at first that was knowledgeable and experienced but he is not that and he should not be out there doing any type of handy man work/ construction. We trusted mike as we are from out of town with no knowledge in construction and he took advantage of us. read more

I was having problems with my plumbing in my one and only bathroom. I was desperate to get it fixed and found Father and Son. I texted for a cost to snake my line and I got a response quickly. Within a few hours Mike was at my house working to fix the issues I was having. He worked hard and cleared the blockage so now my bathroom works perfectly. They had to repaint the house twice and the second time they did not cover the floors and painted the new floors!! My first contact started over email on a Saturday, can you believe it a Saturday? I expressed to Mike I was without air conditioning. Mike scheduled an appointment for 8:00am on Monday morning. Mike was prompt and told me exactly what I needed to have done. Mike said he was able to order the parts needed or gave me to option to order them myself. Mike continued to maintain contact with me as I waited for the parts to arrive in Yuma. I text Mike when they arrived and scheduled for a early morning appointment the following day. Mike again was on schedule and completed the job within a hour. I was told I would have someone out there that evening or the next day and work possibly could have been done right away however no call back no show. We hired Mike to refinish some cabinet doors at my mom's house in Yuma and he ended up doing much more than that given that he knows a lot about so many things! He figured out how to reset the sprinkler timer, fixed the garage door opener, repaired a leak in the fridge, fixed some shelves, repaired a finicky doorbell and more.
