Water leak that CJ couldn't find, that I found after 15 minutes.
    Cashina R.

I called at 11:24a on Wed and left a message. CJ called me back at 12:32p and we setup an appointment for Thursday at 9a. I got several texts throughout the day confirming and then asking to change to 8a. Ok, no problem. I was happy to have the quick service! They ended up showing up at 7:37a and my credit card was charged at 8:01a. I have added a picture of the hole I personally cut in my ceiling to remove all the wet drywall. It was saturated to the point that the paint started to bubble... that's how I found the leak. CJ declared that there was no leak that he could find in the entire 23 minutes he was in my home. I was not home when he came, but I came home a half hour later and turned on the tub to the point that water began to run out of the tub overflow... and sure enough water came dripping down the pipe! I am not a plumber or any kind of builder but I possess common sense and I have the ability to determine that a leak that required me to cut almost three feet of my bedroom ceiling out would not just disappear or resolve itself. I called CJ and requested my $75 service charge fee back, which after some back and forth discussion he finally agreed to return. I will update this review if I do not receive a refund in 48 hours. I won't comment on why I think this experienced plumber decided to ignore the obvious cause of this problem, but I will tell you the advice he gave me, quote, "Don't overflow the tub." That's helpful. I'll just avoid washing any animals or children or any large adults in my tub to make sure it doesn't hit the overflow valve. Or perhaps I should just leave the 3ft hole in my ceiling... just in case water accidentally gets in the overflow valve again! That's why we pay "professionals", so they can actually fix things properly and we don't have to live like that! Update: 10am, Same Day Well, I have now attached a screenshot of the text I just received. Guys, save yourself the time, headache and the money. Do we now have to record conversations with people so they won't lie to us? I asked CJ if he was going to come back and he said no. Update: 10:41a In the interest of full disclosure I have now received several more texts and CJ offered to come and replace a seal, while accusing me of yelling at him on the phone, which I did not do. I'm sure I was incredulous and shocked that I, a homeowner, could very simply find a leak that the professional plumber couldn't find. I declined to have them come back. I can't keep dealing with this and wasting my time, I have a job to do. They can keep my $75 and l'll consider it stupid tax.

WARNING!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. Our experience with ServiceMaster Yuma was one of the most frustrating and heartbreaking experiences my family has ever endured. The repairs to my parents' home took over 16.5 months to complete. The damage occurred in December 2024, repairs officially began in January 2025, and after some initial work, the project sat largely untouched for months with little to no communication. My father repeatedly called for updates and timelines but received very few responses. In January 2026, my parents were told the home was "move-in ready." As someone who works in the construction industry, I became concerned and personally traveled to inspect the property in February 2026 after being told, again, that it was ready for occupancy. It was anything but. The home was completely unlivable. I documented extensive unfinished work and provided ServiceMaster Yuma with a detailed punch list. Among the issues I found were: * A microwave that had been removed and left outside for approximately a year without being reinstalled. * A refrigerator that had been left outside with food still inside for about a year and was later plugged back in despite the odor and contamination. * Missing cabinet hardware. * Large gap under the French-doors in the primary * Protective plastic still covering newly installed cabinets. * Mirrors that had never been rehung. * Dirt, construction debris, and a home that had clearly not been cleaned before being represented as ready to move into. I have attached photos so others can judge the condition for themselves. Even after I became directly involved, it took another three months of constant emails, phone calls, and follow-up before the work was finally completed. Perhaps the most disappointing part of this experience was the lack of communication and accountability. Despite my repeated concerns, I never received proactive communication from the owner, Jonathan Baias. Every conversation had to be initiated by me. My parents were elderly and dealing with health issues during this process. They relied on ServiceMaster to communicate honestly and complete the repairs in a reasonable timeframe. Instead, they spent more than $112,000 on relocation expenses while waiting for their home to become livable. Tragically, my father passed away before he was ever able to return home. No amount of money can undo that loss, but I hope sharing our experience helps other families make an informed decision before trusting this company with their home. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend ServiceMaster Yuma. The prolonged delays, poor communication, lack of project oversight, and repeated representations that the home was "move-in ready" when it clearly was not, resulted in unnecessary financial hardship and emotional stress for my family.
