If I could give Uncommon 0 stars I would. They ONLY good thing about this place is the location. I…read morehave lived here for not even a year and within that time me and my roommates have had numerous problems. We have had issues with mold just about every month and this is a TWO year old building. Our entire apartment is constantly feeling like there is moisture in the air and leaves our clothes and sheets feeling damp which then causes mold to grow on our personal items. The entire building always has a disgusting smell. Also, management here is horrific. The property manager is never in office and is conveniently always out of town. I believe there has been a total of 4 property managers within the year I've been here. I have never had such a terrible living experience in my 4 years of college. Uncommon truly does not care about their residents which is ridiculous since most of us pay $700+ a month to live here. Uncommon gives residents points to earn prizes to write reviews and so I'm sure thats why most of them are positive, I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

My dryer broke and was not fixed for months until they finally gave me a new dryer. I think they have gone through 4 managers in the year and a half I lived there. The gym is tiny the study room is useless. The only benefit of living here is the great location but everything else is such a headache they somehow make that not even worth it. Getting in and out of the parking garage is a daily headache. Save your money save your energy don't fall for the five star reviews here. Take my advice and do not live here!

We moved in and everything was dirty to the point where we spent the whole first day of moving just cleaning not even moving in and we had no working dryer and they didn't get the dryer in for two weeks. We didn't have a fridge door handle that worked. Our microwave is still broken and it's September 8 and we moved in on August 19. We have a cigarette burn in our couch. We have dents in the wall from the previous renters and I did not have AC in my room for the first two weeks and instead of fixing the AC they just gave me a window unit that looks completely awful and is running up our electricity bill because has to be plugged in 24 seven the lady who works in the office is nothing short of rude and we got a random roommate, and they forgot to inform us because it "" slipped her mind They are completely unprofessional and don't realize that this is people's home and it's not a comfortable place of living and mind you while we had all these broken things in our apartment. We still have to pay the same amount in our rent, even though we had half of the appliances, but I would like to make it clear that it's nothing against maintenance. The maintenance team are two guys that are phenomenal and they are so kind it is the people who run archive that is the issue so save yourself and never ever live here.

Pretty much what you would expect for a college apartment. Very basic amenities for the apartment…read morespace. My biggest complaint is the lack of transparency with the lease and the sense they are trying to hide. My son went to tour the property prior to signing the lease, only to find out that they convinced him to sign a lease under the assumption it was an interest form. We were not able to get out of the lease without paying several months rent, so we ultimately kept the apartment for what I assumed was only 10 months. My son moved out in May and apparently all the staff did too. I've tried to contact them multiple times to discuss the lease and get a copy of it; however, no one will contact me back. Only an automated AI service will respond to my calls and texts. Word to the wise: don't let your son tour the apartment alone, and know exactly what you're signing up for.

However, there was none. The fire was getting bigger so he took the frying pan and threw it in the sink and put it out with water which then splashed back causing him 2nd degree burns on his face hands and feet!! Per MS law there must be a fire extinguisher in every apartment and even a second floor if there are 2 floors in one unit!! My son and one of his roommates had to go out side because there was so much smoke in the apartment. When they went out side the saw a single fire extinguisher hanging between several apartment doors, yes I said the fire extinguisher was outside!! By the time my son would have ran outside to get it, the whole complex would have burnt to the ground!! To make it even worse, the smoke detector NEVER WENT OFF!!! So I just wanted all of you who have family or students at this apartment, their lives are in danger!!! We found out why the smoke detector did not go off. There were no batteries in the smoke detector to begin with!!!! The lease states they will test all smoke detectors and provide working batteries when you take possession. So basically this apartment should have never been rented because it was not ready according to the lease.
