Fausto Law was recommended by our Family Attorney. As a Corporate attorney, he was hired to protect the Corporations from disclosing privileged information. Instead of doing as he was hired, he asked for documents that belonged to my family case so he can later overbill. He never produced the privilege log and delayed producing the documents requested in discovery which he had received timely. His delay caused a costly Motion to compel that has taken over three years and over one Hundred thousand Dollars to defend. Mr. Mario Fausto is an unethical person, not only he did not do as he was hired, but despite the fact that his negligence cost us dearly, he overbilled us 26,000.00 for resubmitting 35 pages of discovery we provided. He also blackmail us to pay 1000.00 to write a declaration to defend the very Motion he was responsible for. Buyer Beware! dealing with Fausto's Law is like making a pact with the devil. read more

I worked with Sergio in a estate planning matter and a prenuptial agreement and I was amazed by his professionalism and dedication. I used a legal "insurance plan" I have from my employer and initially i was concerned that I wouldn't have a good service, as typically those plans pay lawyers lower fees than direct business. My friends highly recommended me Mario Fausto for a business lawyer when I set up my own business in USA. When I first contacted him, I felt that he is a very sincere person and have a lot of experience with international entrepreneurs. He spent quite amount of time for our first meeting. Surprisingly, he was also very knowledgeable on high technology. I had only 10 days left for my legal issues to be resolved, he helped me a lot to meet the deadline. Especially, I was able to talk to him my immigration concerns, and I think that makes him unique in this area. My issue worked out very well within a couple of month. It was very quick, compared to my friend a year. I am so happy for it. His consulting and experience saved me a lot of time and money. Ouch! These guys were horrible. Got them through a legal referral service. When I went there, I was underwhelmed. Should have trusted my instincts, but they repeatedly assured me they were "the experts". Mario Fausto, one of the partners, personally told me he had extensive experience and had settled many cases of my type for huge savings. In reality, they do everything at the absolute last minute, run up huge charges for "research" on stuff they never actually filed, and they never sent me copies of any of the documentation they "said" they produced despite repeated requests. The only firm I've ever worked with that doesn't send copies of documents to their clients. The only bright spot was they ran my ex-wife's complete credit history on their legal search service & then gave me the copy. Oops, I guess that's not quite legal is it? I thought that would mean they were going to be tough and get good results for me. Unfortunately they cost me more than I would have had to settle for originally. Mario Faust then changed the story to "there was never any hope to begin with". FYI - Mario left several voicemails on my phone asking me to pay his bills right away because his firm was having financial difficulties, so draw your own conclusions. Oh, did I mention the lawyer they assigned to my case "left suddenly". Like Sofia, I talked to a couple of their other clients outside the office and got similar feedback. I tried to get the final documents so I could have another lawyer finish the filings, but Mario won't turn over several of the final signed documents until I pay their bills. read more
