Aimee the assistant manager was argumentative and extremely combative because I advised her I did not want to use the self service kiosk and just wanted to be helped like everyone else. The entire store was full of customers and out of everyone in there she insisted I needed to use self service. I am very happy with the work they did for my printing job--fast with beautiful colors, exactly as I was hoping. I am also happy with the friendly and courteous professional I spoke with today (Saturday morning). I found out today that I could have e-mailed this office my files and they would have given me the bulk pricing rate listed on the website. I wish that the professional I spoke with yesterday (Friday afternoon) on the phone had told me that, for that would have spared me a lot of pain. The FedEx printing website SUCKS. I spent two hours on the phone with tech support yesterday because they couldn't figure out why you can't get the bulk pricing through the website. As of this writing, they still haven't figured it out and supposedly they are still working on it. The part of the website where you design your own postcards also is sub-par. I "saved" the design that I created there, only to find out that if you don't finalize the design into a pdf ready for checkout it's not really saved. They logged me out without warning and erased all the work I did. And then after all that, as I mentioned above at checkout the website did not give the bulk pricing, a near 30% difference. My takeaway: if you're in a hurry and you already have your designs in a print-ready pdf, e-mail them your files and you'll get good work for a good price, really quickly. I placed my order at 7 p.m. on a Friday, planning to pick it up Saturday morning, but it was ready within an hour. Don't use the website for ordering or design. read more

I love how I can redirect my packages to this location. It's 24 hours, the workers that helped me are helpful and nice. It's a safe way to prevent packages from being stolen. Parking is in small lot, but I've never had any issues not being able to find parking. Most people just come in and do their business and leave. Good location and safe. I use this location often and normally the staff is awesome... But this young female assistant manager, glasses, short has given me trouble every time I've dealt with her. Three times in fact... Each time an issue with the box I reused. Tonight she found a very small print logo that indicated my box was originally used to ship wine. My postage would have covered it. She insisted no... That wouldn't be accepted. I suggested using a sharpie to black out the 2"×2" marking... Again She refused. I offered to open the box to assure her I had no wine in the box. She said "oh I believe you." But still refused to accept my almost perfectly blank box. She insisted she couldn't take it... So I told her she was just trying to be a pain in my.... Sure enough I look it up and it would have been perfectly acceptable to cover up the small mark. Obviously a power trip freak, this girl. Again... Cons - Sucky parking lot. Website says they open at 7; sign on the door at this location says 8am and they don't open a minute earlier. Sign on door says they close at 8; today they were closed when I got there before 7pm. I brought in a properly packaged envelope to send lab specimens (three levels of protection) and asked if they wanted to look it over. They said they aren't allowed to touch the envelope and I should put it in the collection box. It's not radioactive! If they are not allowed to touch it, does that mean no other fed ex person can touch it? How do I know it would even be picked up? This is really poor service. read more

You would really think that it would be tough to mess up a copy and print center, but this neighborhood shop really has not impressed me. Multiple times, employees here have been rude to us. Many times we have been made to feel that we were inconveniencing employees by asking questions or having the audacity to request some help. Once my husband had a few things on a flash drive that he was having trouble printing. Rather than offering to help him figure out, the employees there basically refused to even try to help him figure out how to get his items print correctly and insisted that he use the self-service machines where you pay per minute for computer access in addition to the price of making prints. And I guess having them take the flash drive and attempt to print the items on one of their larger machines with more advanced settings was just out of the question. We also have not been impressed with the turnaround time on jobs. To be quite honest, with several office store chains now offering copy and print services, we would rather go there. We get rewards through the store programs and are actually treated like paying customers. We only use this FedEx location when we need to drop off a package -- and preferably a prepaid one so that all we have to do is drop the thing off and not bother any of the "hard-working employees" at this store. read more

The store staff was fine. But, what a racket! FedEx charged me $65 to send a small package 2-day delivery to Los Angeles. I could have sent the same package for $17 via the post office, but they couldn't guarantee 2 day delivery -- it would be 3 days. And, it absolutely positively had to be there in 2! They sent tracking updates: the package is on the truck, it is out for delivery, then a delivery update: The package will be delivered TOMORROW (the same day the USPS could have delivered it for $17). I spent WAY too long fighting to make sense of the autobot customer service online. Then I phoned. I was on hold for 8 minutes. After some investigation, the rep said that the driver could not leave the package. Why? She did not know. Why didn't the driver call the recipient? She did not know. But she told me that she would tell the driver "that he should leave the package tomorrow." Gosh, I thought that the driver would know that is what I wanted for $65 ...for him to leave the package - not for him to drive it around Los Angeles. This is such a total service failure! ONE JOB - drop off the package. FAIL! I asked if they would adjust my charge - and have me only pay for 3-day delivery. "No, because you chose the 2-day delivery!!" Yes, I know, but that's not what I got! "I'm sorry for the inconvenience." (She said that 5 times - which changes nothing!") IF IT ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY HAS TO BE THERE - DON'T USE FEDEX. read more

I love this place. Because of my stubbornness and unwillingness to bring a printer into my life, this gem of a place has come in handy so many times in my life. For instance, the night before dream job interview, I noticed something that could have been improved upon on my resume. Do I panic? No. Open MS Word, edit, e-mail to the folks over at FedEx, then drive over at quarter to midnight and get a nice, thick piece of resumé paper for like 40 some cents! They even have dozens of designs to pick from if you are so inclined! For regular pieces of paper (ie shipping return labels for amazon on last return day) it's only .16 cents a page. This place has saved my butt on a few occasions and for that I am thankful. Oh, and like other reviewers have said, the parking situation isn't the best, but thats all the more reason to save those trips for the midnight hour! read more

On one evening recently, what should have been, maybe, a half hour stop turned into a 2+ hour f*g fiasco. However, Kristina saved the night, and my sanity, with her customer service skills and professional demeanor. She even frosted the cake by giving me the work for free in the end because of all the incredible hassle! And that's why I'm giving this place 3 stars. WORST COMPANY TO SHIP WITH. Got the worst in-person service at this location to begin with (see past review). His name was Andy and he should learn to treat another human with some respect. By no means was I ever difficult. My package to a close friend was to be sent by PRIORITY MAIL, paid for priority price, it was never delivered. It's been a over a week now. So obviously by this time I've outted my paid for surprise to my friend and now FedEx is asking her to PICK it UP from RODGERS MINNESOTA. This package was originally going 9 miles away to Mpls. Terrible experience! I tried to get a refund on a print order and was bounced between FEDEX store and FEDEX corporate 11 times! Literally 11 times. The end result NO REFUND! I painted our save-the-dates and wedding invitation proofs and brought them to be copied. I was very impressed with FedEx's expertise with cropping and resizing. When I had to make some last minute changes over the phone they were so helpful and understanding. With their help making our invitations was a smooth, effortless, and quick process. Now known as "FedEx Kinkos." Note further that Yelp has this store located in South St. Paul. In fact, the store is on Snelling Ave. South in Saint Paul (by Macalester College). I like the 24 hour service, and the fact that you can ship FedEx from here. You'll save lots of dough boxing your own item and shipping Fedex from Kinkos rather than having the UPS store box and ship your stuff. I don't like the fact that I will ALWAYS wait for counter service, no matter what time of day or night I visit. Tip: use the self service kiosk or for bigger jobs, upload your order online and just stop by for pickup. read more

They're soo helpful and attentive at this location! Everyone is friendly and surprisingly edgy for a corporate place. I liked hearing pandora radio piping rockabilly tunes from behind the counter. I do all my orders at this location. If something doesn't mesh I don't have to pay for it, even if I messed it up. I also like when I get comped for things because I'm such a good repeat customer, the good looking fella (Lee?) that looks like George Clooney or Bruce Campbell should get a raise. He's absolutely the best in customer service, doesn't hurt that he's cute. If it wasn't for the jerks that park on the fed ex side to go to Caribou the parking wouldn't be as bad. Also, since they put that median in the middle of snelling for some ridiculous reason (too many j-walkin college kids? Yeah, I think they're j-walkin even more now.) I don't recommend this location at all. They "forgot" to tell me they were going to charge me an additional $113 shipping on my order. They placed the order to be delivered ground when it was specified to arrive overnight. They overcharged my items compared to other locations we've ordered the same items from. And we didn't end up getting our order delivered in time for our event. All in all, I'm not sure they know what they are doing. read more

Not a friendly experience! The sign says "Open 24/7". I walk in and the FedEx employee gets in my face saying that they are closed. I explain that the sign says, "Open 24/7" and the man sneers and says the other sign says "Closed for remodeling". He does that bouncer thing where he gets into your space to get you leave. Poor customer service. I you go to the desk with a jump drive they pawn you over to the self serve machines which suck, they are slow. I come in with a suit and tie and need expensive prints done of business documents in a timely manner and by default they automatically push you to the slow machines that can only print one document at a time. I just want to say--this place is great. It's the people that work there, not the self-serve copiers (although I'm sure those are fine, too... The mini jobs for my little business just need the extra hands and better resolution from the 'behind the counter' services). I came in with some already-purchased paper and was having a few issues with the copier I started on. To be perfectly honest, I almost threw a tantrum (I'm almost 40..) because of the trouble I was having with printing that day. The guy stocking paper right next to my machine was kind and helpful and although he could probably very well tell that I was seething, was super nice and gave me a refund for the print jobs that didn't work for me. I then went to the counter to get help and the woman who helped me was also very kind and calm. She made sure everything came out alright and then waved the fee for the printing because I had lost some nice paper in the process. I needed to print labels for 23 packages before moving to New York and FedEx's online system crashed. Steve helped me out for about an hour and half and finally we figured out a way to get the shipments to process. He checked each label one by one to make sure there were no duplicates and everything was correct and answered any question I had. Quite possibly the best customer service I've received anywhere. Understaffed, and there is no way to fill out a label and just drop without standing in line and entering the information for them to print a label. 25 minutes waiting in line just to ship two items using my FedEx account number. The employees here are excellent and helpful EXCEPT for Sabrina. I went to the store at 12 to print something for 3, which I was told I was able to do. A friend had gone to the store 10 minutes prior to me and was able to print her's by 3. However, when I got to the store, Sabrina told me that she was unable to print it until 8. Now I understand this. However, Sabrina was extremely rude and condescending in delivering the news. Her customer service was so bad that I made a yelp account specifically to complain about her. She is the junior manager and she is clearly on a power trip. Very bad service. Other people there were super nice though. You could tell they didn't like her. read more
