Had a medical emergency on 05/14/2022 while FedEx Ground was delivering a package to me in Dalmatia, PA. The driver, LaQuan, (don't know correct spelling) witnessed my fall. He called 911 for me and ran to a neighbor's house, at my request, to get their help. Not only did he do this, he also stayed until the neighbors, ambulance, and family members got here to make sure I was taken care of. Twice in the last 30 days we were expecting a FedEx delivery. Each time, it showed the packaged was loaded on the truck and out for delivery. Each time, the package was delayed at least 4 days before actually being delivered. One time, it was a "weather delay" when it rained (not flooded, not torrential downpours). I'm not sure how this location hasn't been shut down. My package was relabeled mid-transit so that a required Direct Signature was removed, and it arrived visibly tampered with and missing nearly everything. After reporting it, I discovered multiple other cases involving the facility with the same suspicious pattern: relabeled packages, no signatures, and missing contents. This isn't a one-off. It's a recurring issue that FedEx needs to investigate. Until then, I strongly recommend rerouting your shipments elsewhere if possible. read more

Authorities should be informed. I wish there was a zero review for this company let me explain. I placed an order through Walmart online (DO NOT USE) whom uses FedEx as a third party. There's a dark advantage for both companies. The Fed Ex driver issued my item which I'll say is close to $400.00 worth of merchandise left my package on my door here in Harrisburg (My order was shipped from a far source and middletown was the last stop before my house) Anyway... The driver leaves my package on my porch while my cousin and my downstairs neighbor are both home in the case I didn't make it back from work in time. When I returned home neither my package nor my neighbors heard a knock or ding dong on the front door. My next door neighbor who was working outside on his roof saw nor heard any symptom of a fed ex employee dropping by. I don't know everything but I know an opportunity to abuse a position which includes taking a funny picture on my porch without notifying anyone of your presence and then quote on quote "carrying out your regular duties" well you didn't carry out your duties not only am I awaiting a refund but I'm here to whistle blow on the thief's driving for your company. My next order will be a door cam for sure good to know we civilians play on each other like crabs in a bucket rather than working toward something greater like tax relief and marching together on those principles. The drivers here at FedEx do not ring your doorbell or knock. I have been waiting on a super important package and they left a sticky note on my door saying I was unreachable and then went back to their van. My delivery was on a Friday so now I have to wait another 3 days to get my package. Sounds like this driver just wanted to be done for the day and doesn't care. Twice, rather than delivering the merchandise when they were supposed to, they returned to the terminal and said it was undeliverable. When my wife called the terminal, she told them to call when delivering, and that due to their delay, we could not accept the merchandise until Wednesday. Bed broke. Had a fall and multiple vertebrae of mine are still out of place so we ordered new bed frame thinking it'd be here in a reasonable amount of time. FedEx held our package for almost a whole month and a half. Drove from Lancaster the whole way out to Middletown at 8 in the damn morning to find out there's only two days to pickup from them. Had security guards from AlliedBarton eyeing me and my girlfriend like we were nuts when we were just being calm. Also, every time I get a shipment estimate, I estimate an extra two to three days. They lie and say no one was there, or they just turn around when they're a few blocks away from you sometimes. I probably spent over 40 hours on the phone over the bed frame alone. I try and be reasonable, especially with everything going on but the second I see it's coming to Middletown, I know it's going to take long as fuck. Staff I dealt with was completely rude. I was told over two weeks worth of phone calls I'd get called back until towards the first few days I realized that was just bullshit. Don't listen to them if they tell you that, demand a damn manager. I would petition to have them thrown out of Pennsylvania if it was that easy because this location as much as I don't want people out of work, deserves to know how fucked up their whole warehouse is. I'm sorry to the workers that do work there and work your hardest. ZERO STARS!!!! When my package arrived it was crystal clear that someone had ripped open the package and removed ALL contents accept 1 item. There is no invoice, return label, or shipping paperwork whatsoever. There was 13 items sent according to my order confirmation only 1 item was actually delivered. I filed an official claim with both Fashion Nova and FedEx, the only communication received regarding this matter is a ticket number assigned to my complaint (ticket ID is 21817105) and a total of 3 claim/case numbers from FedEx. According to the Operations Manager at the Middletown, PA FedEx Station there "really cannot be an investigation, given that the package came from Illinois one of the largest hubs in the country". The operations manager went on to say "if I wanted to file a complaint because a driver was rude or mean to me" then he could help. Or if my package was delivered to the wrong address, then he would be able to assist me. This has been absolutely horrible experience. If you look at the photos you can see the original closure was destroyed, there are multiple holes, and the bag is severely torn. Fashion Nova should change transportation carrier to UPS because this makes absolutely no sense. This was my second time in 4 years ordering from Fashion Nova and to be frank this will be my last if my order is not made whole. I paid extra for express shipping only to have 1 out 13 items delivered in a package with a total weight of 9 lbs according to the shipping label. Every time I have package being delivered by FedEx, it takes 3 to 4 days. Every day is a "delivery exception " and reschedule for the next day. Calling the 800 number is a waste if time. FedEx Drivers will Kill You (literally) My package was not delivered and there was a notice online that it could not be delivered without a signature. But, my package was shipped without requiring a signature to be delivered. So, I called customer service. They gave the usual FedEx run around, avoided taking responsibility, and refused to explain why a driver would not leave a package that did not require a signature. So I was persistent and called and called, and called some more, until finally a "manager" named Chris Sherif(sp?) talked to me for a bit and said that he would see what he could do. About a half hour later, Chris called me and told me that a "driver manager" was willing to drop my packages off on his way home from the FedEx Ground center in Middletown, PA. He said packages, because there were two other packages that were supposed to have been delivered to another person that lives with me, but he never received them and was giving them time to figure it out. I was elated and thanked him...I even said that he was amazing. Little did I know what would happen when the "driver manager" Chad Monderewicz would show up at my door with my packages. The loud punching on my door should have been a red-flag, but I thought he was just being thorough and trying to make sure I didn't miss his arrival. Everything went smoothly at first. I signed for the package, and as soon as I handed him back the electronic signature thing, he went completely insane. First he screamed at me...spitting and red-face, with veins popping out everywhere as he tried to form words in his furious rage... explaining that signed packages "means that a signature is required", and I explained that my package didn't require a signature...so he went even crazier...screaming that he would have me "red-flagged" so that I would "never be able to receive FedEx packages again", "they do it all the time"...to which I explained how much I would love to live in a world where I never had to deal with FedEx again. At this point he took on a fighting stance, so I asked him to leave...to "get off my property!". At which point he threatened me, and said I better hope I never see him again or he'll make me sorry. I ran in my house leaving the packages behind, locked the door, clutched my barking and shivering with fear Jack Russell, and called the police immediately to file a report. The police were somewhat helpful, in calming me down, but apparently he won't be charged with anything, because he didn't specifically state how he intended to harm me. Every single time I have to deal with FedEx it is an awful experience. I usually won't order from companies that don't offer FedEx alternatives, but I found a deal that was impossible to pass up. And of course, it was the usual FedEx nightmare, although this was by far the worst. FedEx's policy of hiring contractor drivers is what I believe leads to this sort of issue. This guy has a police record encompassing everything from several moving violations to writing 'bad checks' aka fraud. UPS and USPS have their own fleets of drivers that are properly vetted. With FedEx, any manner of criminal could be rifling through your packages or threatening your life in the middle of the night, just for asking them to do their job, and deliver your packages. The police told me to call the crazy guy's manager, and he will probably get fired...I'm thinking great, now I get an unstable guy fired from his job, and he already knows where I live!! Perfect. If you are going to receive packages from FedEx, make sure your gun permit is up to date, you pepper spray is full, and your security cameras are all connected. read more

The delivery driver was negligent. He left my package outside on the first level. I stay on the third level of an apartment. He never even knocked on my door or attempted to deliver the package to my suite. The only way I knew it was delivered was because I signed up for email delivery notifications. I contacted customer service to have them send the driver back to my apartment to deliver the package to my door since I couldn't carry a 100 lb package up three flights of stairs which was the entire purpose of opting for delivery. I was assured by Carrie that the driver would come back. I waited outside in the freezing cold for nearly three hours since I didn't want to risk something happening to the package if I left it there alone. To make a long story short, this incompetent and negligent driver never came back to deliver the package to my apartment door. My mother (who has a heart condition) and I were forced along with my daughter to carry the package up the stairs ourselves. I called and they said I had three days to tell them if I wanted the package held or sent to a different local location to be held. I called back and left a message because no one was available. They claim they never got the message so now I have to pay another $100 plus dollars to have my package re-shipped because they sent it back. I spoke to two customer service reps and a supervisor (I think- he refused to give me his title stating 'I don't play games' what?) and no one could help me. Their advice? Call the shipper. I ordered my package, food for my pets, on April 3rd. Fed Ex stated they attempted to deliver my package on April 12th. No door tag, phone call, nothing to verify they actually attempted delivery. Tracking report said on April 13th that I requested a rescheduled delivery, which I did NOT. (My pets are out of food by this time). No one was available at the retailer from which I purchased my pet food, nor at Fed Ex to address my concerns and their mistakes. COVID-19 is no excuse for poor customer service (and untruths). There is little coordination between the website and reality. If you are promised an item on a Tuesday and you have to sign for it, you're stuck at home. It is infuriating for Fedex to blithely add a day or worse two days to the delivery date. Instead of being stuck for one day, it becomes two or three. Walmart uses Fedex at least for my item. I try to buy from any other vendor than Amazon in a futile attempt to break what has become a de facto monopoly of goods purchased online. Walmart rarely fails to disappoint but much of the problem is Fedex. Amazon's online tracking and promised date of delivery is nearly always more accurate (not perfect but more accurate) than Walmart's. Fedex is a prime contributor to Walmart's missing their delivery date promises. read more

A female FedEx delivery person delivered a large box package which was a bicycle so it was not extremely heavy (44 lbs) like furniture during the holidays. She didn't want to lift a finger moving the box from the truck to the front of my house. I had to tell and help her to get a hand truck,move the package off the truck, etc through the entire delivery process. It was I thought FedEx delivery people (female or male) are supposed to be able to lift heavy objects as part of their job. She just opened the back of the truck and expected me to take the box from the truck. She was definitely lazy and didn't really want to do her job. This is the first time EVER that I had to take and get the package from the back of any delivery carrier truck. UPS and USPS don't even want customers near their truck. Outside of the box was also damaged so "Handle With Care" was definitely ignored. It was a good thing that there protective foam and plastic inside to protect the item inside. read more

I'm so disappointed in FedEx. Four days in a row my package has not been delivered. I called a Customer Rep. every day and ask why. They can't tell me. I have a new address that is not on GPS and I expect that is why. But on Day#1 I gave directions and my phone# but that wasn't passed onto the driver. So tomorrow will be day#5 and I would be surprised if I get my package. The Middletown FedEx center manager was to call me on Saturday, but they did not. On the FedEx website I could update delivery instructions, but there is only room for about 20 characters; not enough to completely relay full directions. This form was not given thought to allow customers to give complete directions using more characters. It is so disappointing that the driver isn't allowed to call me on my cell if he cannot find my address! If I have a preference, I will not use FedEx in the future. read more

Horrible Nightmare!!!! I ordered a leather recliner from Bon Ton and unfortunately they ship with Fed Ex. They delivered to my billing address and not the shipping address. We tried to correct it and they supposedly stopped it. It turns out they delivered the top half of the chair by my door. A couple of days later they delivered the bottom half and left it down by the street and not up the driveway by the door as is stated on a sign. Plus they claimed they delivered to the door. I went to our home and found it sitting sideways, the opposite way of the big large arrows and part of the chair was sticking out of the damaged box. So Bon Ton contacted them again and they said they picked them both up, they were still there. Another contact and they only picked up the bottom half. Then they lied again and said they picked up the box by the door. I told Bon Tons' they were lying as I was looking at the box. It took them a month to finally pick it up. But, I don't go back to that house until Saturday, so I hope they are telling the truth this time. Plus Fed Ex told the Bon Ton manager they woud would have a manager call me. Surprise, no call.
