Express and other expedited delivery options don't mean much to this center. Routinely, drivers coming out of Moonachie mark my packages as "customer not available" when I've been waiting home for the package. Happened again today and I caught it from my home computer checking on status two minutes after they logged it. Clearly I'm here. I'm not sure the truck even bothered driving down my street - they absolutely didn't ring my doorbell. Complaining does nothing. FedEx is less reliable than USPS overall, but this center seems to be worse than most. Just awful. read more

I'm waiting for an important package that was supposed to arrive yesterday. I checked the tracking information and it said "operational delay - incorrect address." I FREAKED out and called them to find out what was going on, because this package cannot fall into the wrong hands!! Thankfully, the address they had on file was correct. So the "incorrect address" part was a false label. The bad news is, they tagged it as "incorrect address" because the original driver couldn't find out how to deliver the package to my house. The buildings and units here are very clearly numbered... and Amazon and UPS have never had issues in the past... but ok. They said a new delivery driver (one that is "already familiar with my area") would reattempt the delivery the next day (aka today) and that I can expect my package by 1PM. Great! Well, 1PM today rolls around and no package in sight. I check the tracking information online again just to find out that it's still labeled "In transit" (rather than "out for delivery," which is what I would expect it to say). At this point I'm concerned that my package may be lost. I called again today and the representative was less than helpful. She couldn't even tell me if the package would be ready for pick up at the Fedex location later today because the system wasn't updating her. What am I supposed to do now?? The package is time-sensitive and it was shipped via FedEx Overnight so I should not have to wait this long. read more

I've received a few packages that came out of this facility since moving to NJ from NY. I already thought FedEx sucked but this place proves it. It is clear customer service and care for packages are the least of their worries. The package that should have been delivered to my door never made it up. Some never even made it in the building. I personally saw drivers leaving packages outside of buildings whose outside door doesn't even have a lock which means they had a way to at least leave the package indoors. They have def done the same to me and left a large package outside of my building for whomever to take. F*ck FedEx it's clear that's their energy for us paying customers. read more

I work from home and whoever delivers their boxes between 9am- 2pm doesn't ring the doorbell and just sticks a tag on the door. Which incurs a delayed delivery when you pay for overnight shipping and then you have to pick it up even when you put a specific instruction to ring the bell to your apartment #. I came to my this office to drop off an already labeled package. There were only 3 people in front of me. The people that work at this location have no respect for the customers time. They came in and out of the back office, and did not take care of us on the line. Not even a question! After 30 good minutes I called a 3rd party Fedex drop off center in Fort Lee, and they took care morning of me in literally in less than a minute. If this isn't the worst FedEx in the country, then George Washington wasn't our first president. All of these awful reviews are 100% accurate. I had my new iPad Pro from Verizon over nighted to me because I was so anxious to get it. Well, that was money wasted. I ordered Monday and the first delivery attempt was Tuesday. My super wasn't around, so they left a note. I called FedEx customer service to set up a pick up from this location. She advised me that they might not allow me to pick it up because the shipping address on the package did not match my drivers license address (I just moved). She said that they probably would still. It's a photo ID and the name matches, so it shouldn't matter - words of FedEx customer service. So I get to the office to find out no they will not let me pick up the package. I offered bills and my actual apartment lease. No, no, no. They said I could have Verizon call and uplift the restriction. I ended up going home because my phone was dying. I called FedEx and requested to have the delivery guy deliver it before 3:30. I was working from home on Wednesday and was leaving for an appointment at 3:30. I'm anxiously checking the tracking all day. This driver starts his route at 7:30am. So he has 8 hours to deliver it before 3:30pm. Of course by the time 3:30 rolls around, it isn't delivered. I even called customer service around 3pm to see if they could tell me where they were. She said he never confirmed the 3:30 delivery request. Mind you, this guy ends back at his terminal by 6:30, according to tracking. So, I'm 45 minutes from this terminal and he tries to deliver is at 4:45 pm. Basically, his last stop or close to it. You're telling me you couldn't have went out of your way slightly to make a happy customer get their package?? There's nothing express about FedEx Express. So now this is the second attempt. One more and they return to sender. I call Verizon and have them issue a ticket to change the address to the one on my driver's license and hold it at the FedEx location, not deliver it. Well, this takes 24-48 hours to update at FedEx?? Are you kidding me? So, I try and do what the office says and have Verizon call this actual location. So in order to do this, you have to call the 800 number and try and get them to connect you to the location. I'm on the phone with Verizon and FedEx. That FedEx location WOULD NOT TAKE THE CALL FROM VERIZON. So, even though they said I could have Verizon call and lift the restriction, they would not let Verizon get through to their office??? So now I'm sitting here wondering if I'll ever get my iPad Pro or not. Hopefully the address change ticket goes through so I can get it tomorrow. We will see..... read more

I had my sneakers sent to a secured FEDEX location to pick up my sneakers. Tracking info shows delivered and ready for customer at pick up point, but sneakers were NEVER delivered there. These bums are stealing our packages and nothing is being done about it. This facility has a history history of theft . Well twice now Fedex has told us that the package was delivered and no one was home and we have been home both times. We've had to go to Moonachie to pickup my sister's meds twice. I came in with my ID and they didn't release my package to me because I didn't have my new address but I was showing them proof that I live in the new address I put and they still wouldn't release it to me. They had a medical device that I needed to pick up and they had me come back three times and they shipped my package back to the company I have got it from. These people don't care about others and shouldn't work here. I don't have a car and I told them it's hard for me to continue coming back and forth to pick up a package that has MY name on it. One or two snafus but a lot better than the local UPS that seems to put your package on the truck the very moment you request they hold it at the local depot. Then say you need to come back!!!!!! The customer service sucks, they pass you around like a football when you call and ask for assistance, NO ONE wants to take responsibility for anything because they know once they get you off the phone they won't have to deal with you anymore. Went here to pick up my iPhone X. Service was fairly quick. Customer service was so-so, but not bad either. There is a parking lot, so you don't have to worry about finding parking. One thing I did notice though, was that the parking lot wasnt well lit. It is basically in the middle of nowhere, close to a small private airport, so I wouldn't be too concerned about safety. read more

We went in to pick up a package, and the two ladies working there were tragically hilarious. The older larger lady was yelling at the younger smaller lady (with a partially shaved head) about how "management couldn't do shit to us" (them) and all kinds of crazy rants about how horrible things were and how she shouldn't have to deal with this and take this kind of treatment. I felt horrible...we were standing right there and she was just going off, telling the younger one what to do and how to handle it when management talked to her. Tons of F-bombs and profanity, it was crazy. I finally got the younger one to help me - the older one kept going, as if I was invisible. The younger one quickly looks at my shipment slip and says "sorry, this isn't here yet" to which I replied "actually, it is, I called the main number and they located it and found it and said it is in back, can you check please?" and then she was dumbfounded and shocked that I knew what I was talking about. Simply the worst shipping company and on top of that worst service in this location. I had something shipped to me when I wasn't at home. I called the customer service to authorize a friend to go pick it up for me. On the phone the attendant said that as long as we had him bring a bill on our name he would be able to pick it up. Over the phone they got all his info and even told us that the store would call us if they had to confirm. A super rude incompetent counter lady refused to help my friend pick up the shipping that I had authorized over the phone. It is a very sensitive material that I needed for the weekend. My friend had the door tag, a piece of mail with our name and he even drove my car and showed our registration to prove the address. If the incompetent counter lady took the time to read the instructors left in the system by FedEx itself, she would have seen that he was authorized to pick it up. Horrible service. Garbage. I hope UPS, DHL, and USPS run this crap company out of business. That's probably why FedEx is losing business. And that's just my last experience with this store and Fedex. We have several package services in my town and whenever anything forces me to have it delivered by FedEx I try and order from someone else they are that bad. The delivery guy 50% of the time leaves valuable packages outside the door without even ringing the bell, even though people are in and they are stolen, They never try and call the cell phones listed on the documentation or read the instructions. If they randomly decide not to deliver your package they then take it 25 miles away to a depot which is impossible to get to rather than drop it off the local FedEx location 0.5 from my house. Thankfully Amazon uses UPS for most of its shipments who are a million times better and more reliable. read more
