I ordered items from a local hardware store. Two pieces of countertops, each weighing about 80 lbs. I ordered them when I did because they said they would be delivered on days I would be home and could move them. On Saturday, I received a text update that they were on the truck and would be delivered. A few hours later, I'm told they could not deliver them because nobody was home. I never left the house that day. None of the items needed to be signed for and could have been left. There was no ticket left on the door that they tried to deliver items. They never attempted delivery. They just decided not to deliver them, for whatever reason. On Monday, my wife is home alone. They delivered the packages (without ringing the doorbell) and left them right in front of the garage door. My wife couldn't get the car out of the garage to go get our kids! Absolutely incompetent delivery service. Anytime I have something being shipped by FedEx, I immediately anticipate problems occurring. read more

I am disabled and live in an apartment building on the 2nd floor. I had a package delivered that weighed over 50lbs and they couldn't be bothered to bring it the very short way to my door. Instead, they left it on the floor of the lobby. I've had 3 spine surgeries: I couldn't lift that package if I wanted too. They don't have to lift anything since they have dollies. It's not the first time they've left packages there either. They do it all the time because they're too lazy to deliver to people's door. I've even had packages stolen because of it. If I hurt myself trying to lift a package they so carelessly left somewhere besides my door, they're getting the hospital bill. Fedex used to be a great company but not any longer. read more

I will never use fed ex or shop anywhere that uses them again. I have had packages delivered to the wrong address. I have had other people's packages - damaged- blocking my driveway. They have lost my packages. The absolute worst service. Customer service was contacted twice, never heard a follow up. I spent an additional $100 to get a package delivered on a Monday morning by 8:00 a.m. I was asked by the shipper if I wanted a signature. I declined the signature, just deliver it. I found out that a signature was required but the FedEx guy did not tell me that. The package was not delivered until 24 hours later. I have tried everything I can to resolve the issue with FedEx to get that money back. Oh sorry. We don't have any record. FedEx, for the 3rd time now, has attempted delivery to a wrong address. Of the 3 things that have been shipped to me via FedEx, all 3 have missed the mark and the address is clearly on the shipping labels as well as their tracking information. When I track the ID number, it always says the business was closed when the attempted delivery was made. I'm not a business but, instead, a residence on a main road in my town. I'm pretty sure they couldn't find their butt with both hands tied behind their back. SAD!!! read more

I have been waiting for a package that was said to be delivered on 8/10/2018. I never received the package. After many calls a rude rep. states that I probably won't get it. If I do not get it by 8/15 then I need to contact the seller. First off this was an auction that I had to follow for a week. Second why should I have to do the leg work for FEDEX's screw up? These idiots have been putting my boxes in front of my garage that I cannot see from my front door and is 20 feet away. I have told them several times to leave the boxes at the front door and ring the bell as I am on oxygen and my tubing won't reach and I have to call someone to help. Everybody can see the boxes if they are set in front of the garage, So, I am now complaining to the stores that if FedEX continues to do this I would not be ordering from them anymore. I am so disappointed in the FedEx drivers. They continue to turn around in my driveway after numerous phone calls to local driver supervisors. The deliveries are not to my house, the deliveries are for others on my street. I have a no turn around sign and have for over 1 year but Fedex continues to use my blacktop driveway on 99 degree days which digs into the asphalt. If I could give 0 stars, I would. FedEx's service has gone to heck in a hand basket. Their delivery cannot be relied upon. Whether the delivery is done by FedEx or by USPS on their behalf. For example: we received a status update text that our item could not be delivered because we were not at home. But, we were. Plus there is signature release authorization on file. My kids were playing outside and didn't see a FedEx truck even come by. FedEx used to be a standard that other companies would benchmark. No more. They have lost their passion to be the # 1 courier. They did not get out of the way and allow other couriers who do a much better job to get their business. read more

LYING TO CUSTOMERS. It is bad when you ship FedEx P1 (10:30am) and it is not delivered. The young lady stated it would be 2 weeks for delivery due to winter storm over a week ago in Memphis Hub. Then when tracing the package being told the package is staged to be sent by truck from Memphis to Charleston which when you call FedEx they state that it would not go by truck but by air.
