    Weird place.. Good to pick up packages, but was difficult to find the entrance to this place. It was huge warehouse.

We moved in to a new home on 2/5/26 our movers were : Kris, Pat, Josh and Daniel. All were very helpful, professional and supportive. They went out of their way to ensure that the move went smoothly. Further there were very polite. I really hope we do not have to move again for a long time. However if we do need to move this is the group we would use to facilitate our move.

    I've used many services before. This by far was the worst. Well not all aspects. The guys who…read morepacked our house - great. I mean they used our sheets and stuff to pack items, but whatever. The biggest issue I had was the guys who loaded our truck. They came over an hour late and then instead of wrapping our furniture, they just started tossing the stuff on to the truck unwrapped. The driver even had to tell them they needed to wrap it or he wasn't going to be able to leave. Then within 15 mins - they broke our credenza. We called the office right then and there and they tried to get the crew aligned a touch better. However there was no improvement. We got to our new home and all three TVs were busted dressed were scratched up couch ripped. Their response was - well we will look into it. I mean when the guys unloaded our stuff they took pictures so they wouldn't be blamed. So I guess the service was "fine" we just got a horrid crew in Atlanta to load our truck which is sad because they were the most important part.

I also forwarded this email to the FMCSA where I've already filed a formal complaint. I want Spark to work with us to get the insurance claim filed/settled. To date they have been unresponsive to my broker and MovingClaims. 5/6/19 To whom it may concern (Spark Moving), I am writing to personally address your company about my recent claim with MovingClaims.net and I'm asking your company to be timely and responsive through this process so we can come up with a resolution sooner rather than later. Missing items: 55in Westinghouse TV Kitchen box: Mr. Coffee coffee maker, 3 Yeti 20oz travel mugs, 1 Arctic 20oz travel mug. I had to send back items on 2 occasions during the delivery because the driver tried giving me items that weren't mine. I'm assuming that's where my TV and missing kitchen box went. Damaged items: Broken sectional couch frame and torn fabric (underside), torn fabric headboard, Sanyo WiFi ready blue ray player broken, some bowls broken, glasses cracked/broken. And kitchen table top cracked and scratched (clearly dropped). *I have pictures of all of these damages. Unfulfilled paid work/Other: Your delivery driver (one worker) dropped my items and did not reassemble any of the furniture. A new local acquaintance I met here helped your driver unload the truck. There were also several delivery delays causing me to miss or rearrange work. Hopefully we can resolve this through movingclaims.net and further legal action will not be required. I've asked multiple times for them to provide me with the required documentation and they are flat out being non-responsive. The broker who has been semi-useful up to this point is no longer being useful either. DO NOT USE GOLD STANDARD RELOCATION. Now that the move is done they have quit on their responsibilities to help me with things like claims. Furthermore they did zero vetting on this joke of a company (Spark Moving). Spark HAD a Facebook page but had since deleted since so many people fucked out by then we're communicating and organizing to file a class action lawsuit. Do not use this company.     They were pretty good about setting up a move on relatively short notice, but they were several…read morehours late on the day of the move and they jacked up their prices after they already had my stuff. They didn't give an actual bill and only cited "materials" as the reason for the price change even though I had everything packed in boxes and I even physically helped them get things in to and out of the truck. They also charge a service fee just to be able to pay them. The 2 guys who showed up and moved my stuff we're nice enough but I absolutely would NOT recommend hiring this company.

Moving and would strongly caution others…read more We were initially quoted approximately $3,600 for our move after providing a detailed inventory multiple times and confirming everything in advance. We were reassured the move would take about 8-9 hours with 4 movers and that the total would remain close to that estimate. This move was from one house to another house within a mile of each other in the same neighborhood! On move day, the crew did conduct an inventory at the beginning but did not communicate any changes or provide an updated estimate. They proceeded to load all of our belongings onto the truck. Only after everything was loaded did they inform us that the total had increased to over $13,000 -- more than four times what we were quoted. At that point, they refused to unload any of our belongings unless we paid in full. Even after we paid approximately $12,000, they still would not begin unloading until additional payment was made. This happened late at night with all of our possessions on their truck, leaving us with no real option. We asked to speak with a supervisor to understand the charges. Although he was placed on speakerphone, he refused to speak with us or explain why the cost had increased so dramatically. Throughout the process, we were repeatedly required to sign documents on a phone that we could not properly review, and they would not explain what we were signing. We were told we had to sign to continue while under pressure due to a strict move-out deadline. The final bill included many concerning charges, including: * Repeated charges for the same items/services (exercise equipment, Peloton, TVs, glass handling) * Significant material charges (e.g., dozens of rolls of tape and excessive wrapping) that we did not authorize and explicitly asked them not to use * Additional services that were not clearly disclosed in advance *They broke our new storm door and our master King Bed Frame. At the end of the move, we were also required to provide photographs of our credit card and identification, which took over an hour. We never agreed to this beforehand and felt extremely uncomfortable given the circumstances. Overall, this experience felt highly pressured and not transparent. The final cost was dramatically higher than what was represented, and we were not given a fair opportunity to review or approve charges before being required to pay. If we did not pay in full, we were not getting our materials. I began to fear for my kids and my safety. I have never been in such a terrifying pressuring situation that I was completely taken advantage of!
