Wowowow. What a unique and splendid experience it was having the tasting menu and wine pairings for the winter menu. The chef feathers local ingredients for all of his creations, and the sommelier did a splendid job picking out the wines. This restaurant had one of my favorite bread courses ever, and all the dishes were quite adventurous. They combine trout with sweet syrup and somehow it works so well. And their rabbit kidney risotto was among my favorite of their dishes. The venison was cooked rare and to perfection with the sauces it was paired with. I've attacked pictures of my meal here. It was a beautiful experience. Definitely a wonderful spot for a romantic dinner; they only accommodate six tables per night, I think. read more

We had one of the most authentic, adventurous, and cohesive dinners of our lives last night at Feel Como. The story told by the Forest menu was complimented by the explanation and pictures of them gathering all of the ingredients locally in the mountains surrounding Lake Como. Belisimosa! read more

Faultless meal, from the service to the food everything was absolutely amazing. Precision cooking using local ingredients but not overly clever or fussy. Beautiful setting in a small, intimate dining room. I think there are only 5-6 tables, which just added to the feeling that we'd had a truly special culinary experience. Had dinner last night and did the bigger 8-course tasting menu in a group of 6. Flavors and ingredients were very local, presentation was very nice, although they really go crazy on their powders and crumbles. The price was fair for the quantity and quality of the food. The sommelier made good recommendations and service was good, if not well refined. Definitely a memorable meal. This was a 5-Star experience but the food and service earned 4.5 and 4 stars respectively. read more

Wonderful food and service. They gave us each a mussel in a creamy celery sauce, served in a spoon to start. We then each had the risotto with truffles. The rice was Al dente, as it should be, and the truffles were plentiful. For dolce we shared an apple tatin with a scoop of gelato, followed by some of the best espresso we have had. My wife and I discovered this wonderful restaurant whilst strolling through the streets of Como and were immediately intrigued by the fascinating menu. We were not disappointed. We were immediately welcomed (without reservation) and presented with a preview from the chef, from which on we knew we were in for a treat. Our appetizer of beef tongue and mashed white bean was delicious, with the olive oil gelato garnish as an absolute highlight! Our main courses of stuffed rabbit (with a beautiful rosemary foam) and black truffle crusted beef rump were no less impressive. The beef was cooked to perfection and the rabbit melted in my mouth. Even the bread basket and butter were spectacular. The wait staff were also remarkable, attentive and never invasive or persistent. A recommended wine pairing to fit our taste and budget was a delightful accent to our meal. My wife and I both had the four course tasting menu. Not only were the eight courses each different, the were all both delicious and beautiful, and the service was uncanny. Like mind reading levels of responsiveness. This currently stands as the pinnacle experience in a vacation full of fine dining. read more
