It is a doctor's office environment (not a spa) and the staff seems efficient at their jobs although they do need to keep their voices down when complaining about patients...they probably don't realize just how much their voices carry into the lobby. No worries...they didn't violate HIPA - they were not using a name. Groupon: I bought a Groupon that includes the shots + a body scan (which is similar to standing on a scale but it reads your body) that provides information such as body fat % and BMI, among other things. **feel free to PM me if you want to know more** After the body scan, the dietitian took me to a treatment room to review the scan results. The guy was really in shape so I imagine he knows his stuff but I felt he had a very difficult time communicating the information to me. I have pharmaceutical experience so it wasn't like he was speaking over my level, he just needs to practice his delivery or something. Anyway, I left feeling slightly overwhelmed at how much he talked AT me but I guess it's better than not having any consultation. I will hold my decision until I've had multiple visits He administered the shot to my hip which was rather painless. Subsequently, I had itching, it's been sore and numb for 2 weeks. I've yet to go back for another shot to allow the side effects to subside. I can't definitively attribute the symptoms to the shot (even though the symptoms are in the shot area) because it felt like I was bitten by something but it never bruised it was only red and swollen. Anyway, I will discuss it with the practitioner on my next visit and report back to y'all. BTW: I take the Slim Shot from Diet by Design in my arm and have the typical soreness but have not had any side effects after 6 shots. Lastly, they gave me a take home folder with a copy of my scan and said we would track my results. Impressive.
