Tonight, my friend and I had the WORST, and when I say worst, I really mean, WORST experience I've ever had at a restaurant (or any other eatery for that matter). We waited over an hour to get a simple pizza with mushrooms. Our ravioli came pretty quickly and was delicious, however, we watched people who came in after us receive as many as 3 pizzas AND finish their meal. We didn't complain at all to the wait staff. We were informed about 30 minutes into our wait that the pizza was coming. But then another 15 minutes later were told that there was a mistake and that it would be a longer wait. So we waited. And waited, and finally about an hour and 15 minutes later, our pizza arrived. In soup form. It was to say the least, disgusting. The family next to us commented on how gross the pizza was and complained to a waiter for us. Then, who we assume to be the owner, came over to the table to tell us that the pile of cheese on our platter was "normal" and when we said it wasn't good, she yelled at us and stormed away. We were given our bill within minutes (the quickest they accomplished anything our entire stay) so we paid for our Ravioli and left angry and hungry. DO NOT GO TO CHEZ NOEL. Sorry to the very nice female waitress who looked overworked.

A garden cafe in Julien…read more In Julien there's a restaurant with outdoor seating. They have brown and white beer, red and white wine. The service is decent and the English was great. I had the pave salmon and she the Buddha bowl. Both hit the spot and the bread was very enjoyable. We were given a bottle of cold water at the start as well. The ambience was that of a noisy but very lived and loved neighborhood along with kids playing and adults yelling at them. Overall worth a stop if you're hungry and walking through this neighborhood. It's super close to the notre dame du mont metro station.
