It isn't huge as a community centre but that's what makes it great, cozy and comfortable. Our children have been attending this school since the day they have opened! and have always been happy with this facility. They even helped get our youngest who hated and feared pool water when he first started at the age of 3, become a very strong and happy swimmer! During covid they went above and beyond to accommodate all families, strict rules in place with private change rooms and TRUE full sanitation of the whole facility in between classes! The owner and management are extremely friendly and professional at all times. Our children have learned so much and have accelerated beyond their friends who go to other nearby schools and community centres. The pool is a true salt water! It does have chlorine in it, as any salt water (public pool would) as this meets with accordance of the city of Vaughan Bi-law. We also have a salt water pool at home, and are encouraged to add a certain percentage of chlorine as this is not open ocean water, to kill germs and keep it hygienic. We love and recommend this school to all our friends and family.

My parents signed up for a 1 month membership since my mom has really sensitive skin and was looking for a salt water pool. They told her theres no chlorine in the water. A few days in, her skin was crazy dry, peeling, and even the color of her swim suit has faded because of the high amounts of chlorine they dump in their water. This definitely raises some health and safety concerns. All this isn't why I want to give this place zero stars. It's because they are dishonest and have terrible service. The manager is extremely snooty and rude. She treats other as though they are beneath her. I has called in on behalf of my parents and Oscar who works there told me my parents could just come in and could get a refund for the remaining days on their membership. When they did, the manager changed her mind and told them they now couldn't. WHAT ON EARTH?! Not only does she have a bad attitude but to top it all off, provides awful customer service. Tip- don't just change your mind about giving a refund when you said your would. It's unprofessional and unacceptable. Please please STAY AWAY from this place. UPDATE: So I guess they change their mind and they call my parents back to come get their refund and when my parents get to the pool, they said that there's NO refund.This happened twice. All their instructors are very knowledgeable, and actually know how to teach every type of person. Whether it be language barriers, varying age groups, or even different learning speeds. Now, onto my most important point, during my course with them, I noticed how incredibly diverse and inclusive their roster of employees, instructors, and students were. I loved seeing that everyone in my class could look to their right or left, and see someone that looked like them, teaching or conducting an exam or even running a company. If you are considering a place to take your first aid or lifesaving courses with, look no further. There's no reception area, you can easy walk through the locker room straight to the pool and spit in it, if you want - no one's gonna meet you on your way, even if it's your first day. Probably that's why you'll be basically forced to pay for the full course prior to even discussing anything - while filling up the form on a website you have to enter your credit card information, you can not skip it. *The price is shown for 9 lessons, but you have to pay for 10. Why not show the full price? To make the amount look more appealing? As I said, there's no staff to meet you on your first day, there no staff to even answer the phone!!! You won't hear "Hello, this is SeaOtterSwimSchool, how may I help you?", cause that's just someone's cell you are calling on. There's a high probability of not hearing anything at all for the same reason - no one picks up, even if you call many times at working hours. You might hear an answering machine, telling you about classes in January - very up to date. The class does not start on time - it might not start even after being 30 minutes late. In summary, for many reasons like the last one this school is not for adults, cause the approach is not serious at all.
