The atmosphere was nice yet casual - relaxed and warm. The service was excellent, as was the extensive Swedish and international beer list. The food though was average - nothing excellent and not worth the typical higher Swedish price point at all. A $30 usd dessert described as a baked chocolate trio was literally three chocolate bites the size of Andes mints. We got it to go and they brought it to us in a snack sized plastic baggy. I'll spend that on a dessert at a restaurant whose ambiance and menu warrants it. It's a pub, with pub food. The food was 3 stars so the overall average rating is 4. Visit De Klomp on a night you're in the mood for excellent beer and and excellent service, but don't go for the spendy (by American standards - pretty typical for Sweden) pub food.

No free internet in other words You have to order maid service but that too is a secret so we came home to a dirty room. Nothing is posted in the room to advise of this necessity and we were not told on check in Breakfast was utterly bland. It was pretty but tasteless I'd try the other Scandic in town

However if you want a…read morehotel that works with friendly and accommodating staff , a great chef who provides interesting and delicious food , clean well looked after rooms with a modern Scandinavian feel , then stay here. I came here almost a year ago and have not left . I think around 35 nights so far this year . Breakfast and WiFi is included in your rate. Both of which work. The breakfast has fresh real food which tastes good and catered for meat eater, vegs, vegans, glutton free etc. What can I say I stay here every time but its is Sweden so it's not cheap. Good value for money but not cheap. The staff are great .
