The whole building features very nice art and pictures which are pleasing to look at. The patient rooms in the back are very clean and to my knowledge I believe some or most have an additional bathroom inside the room, they also provide free feminine stuff in the bathroom case something was forgotten. The doctors here are very passionate about your wellbeing and they don't seem to have too much trouble to give you extra time to express any concerns. I don't have any dislikes, but only one could-be-better. I wish the sonogram gel was pre-warmed like ROC does it. I'm not sure how common this is, but it would be a nice plus to add to the modern appearance for this office.

Extremely Unprofessional and Disorganized - Would Not Recommend…read moreI would strongly advise anyone to avoid Faben Obstetrics. Unfortunately, I had one of the most upsetting and disappointing experiences imaginable during what should have been an exciting time in my life. My third visit was the final straw. At my 13-week ultrasound appointment, the front desk staff member told me, "You need to smile more." This comment was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. You never know what someone is dealing with personally, and it is especially unacceptable to say something like this to a pregnant patient. During the ultrasound, the technician, Janet, brought my mother and me into the room. We politely asked if we could record the baby's heartbeat since the father was unable to attend. Janet stated it was against policy, which I accepted, but I asked for clarification. Rather than explaining, she repeatedly interrupted me and became increasingly rude. She then falsely accused me of telling her to "shh," which I absolutely did not do. Without allowing me the opportunity to explain, she escalated the situation and removed me from my own ultrasound appointment. I was left crying, confused, and devastated. Being kicked out of an ultrasound due to a misunderstanding--and without any attempt at resolution--is unacceptable and deeply unprofessional. What should have been a meaningful and emotional moment was completely ruined. From my very first visit at seven weeks pregnant, the environment was cold and unwelcoming. The staff appeared unhappy and disengaged, and no one made any effort to be warm or reassuring. The physician I saw, Jessica Hughes, was the most unfriendly and unapproachable doctor I have ever encountered. As a pregnant patient, I was hoping for a supportive and compassionate experience, but Faben Obstetrics was the complete opposite. During my second visit, I came in specifically for bloodwork. I had confirmed the day prior that the bloodwork would be done in-office and took time off work for the appointment. Upon arrival, I was told they did not have a technician available and was sent 30 minutes away to another location. This was extremely frustrating and upsetting, especially after being explicitly told otherwise. This office is very disorganized, and I was given misinformation multiple times. After these repeated negative experiences, I will never return to Faben Obstetrics. Pregnancy is a vulnerable and emotional time, and no patient should be treated this way. I strongly recommend that others seek care elsewhere where professionalism, compassion, and organization are valued.

Asked about who my doctor would be and they explained "whoever was on call" completely dismissed my birth plan more concerned with explaining the possibility of induction c section and the costs associated. Considering it's my first pregnancy one would assume I'd have a lot of questions and want an experience that feels calm and comfortable. This has not been the case at all. Husband forced to wait in the waiting room during critical ultrasounds and discussions of Birth contract. That Klara app is a crock of crap. Front desk have now gotten both the Nuchal and 20 week appointments scheduled incorrectly and when I tried calling they had no earlier openings never got a call so baby was bigger and harder to read for nuchal. 20 week scheduled at the wrong office two weeks after the appointment we just had which I figured seemed off so I asked front desk if that was an appropriate time blank stare we scheduled a bit later and still not within the range got a confirmation for another office two weeks prior to that date. She was more concerned with her friend behind her chatting about patients than to even bother asking who I was. Too many red flags to count came recommended to this office and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

My birth plan was completely disregarded and not respected, got pressured into a c section and they kicked my husband out of the room by Dr.Patel. So neither of us got to witness the birth of my first daughter. ( I was under anesthesia due to an adverse reaction to the numbing agent they gave me). I told them it was hurting and they gave me more which made the pain worse. They would not let me leave unless I took medications I did not need. I explained I was declining the medication and the nurse made me take them anyway after acknowledging I had the right to decline certain things. They were completely unnecessary. Most of the staff were unhelpful and lacked clear communication so I ended up staying for close to a week waiting to get discharged. Some of the ladies were really nice and helpful (I didn't catch all of their names, but Jill and Rachel made it the most bearable the last night I stayed). The nurse who helped us the day I finally got discharged was rude and basically ignored my husband and his concerns. She almost got into an argument with him about the lack of care we received. If you want to have a natural birth and your boundaries respected, I do not recommend this hospital/OB office. The staff at both Baptist beaches L&D and the Beaches OBGYN were dismissive and only care for performing inductions and c-sections as well as prescribing unnecessary prescriptions. I'm currently seeking therapy to help process the trauma from this experience and the experience we were robbed of.

I came to my appointment right on time, was handed a tablet to complete a survey, and then within 5 minutes I was brought back by a nurse. I believe the nurse's name was rea or rhea, she was super nice, chatted with me for a bit, took my vitals, and then let me know that doctor would be right in. Dr. Stapleton was warm, kind, and a breath of fresh air. She took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and ordered me the necessary tests I'd need. She was lovely.
