Steer clear and find somewhere else. From the beginning this office has been an absolute disaster…read more Office staff and providers alike seem very dismissive my husband described our last visit as "chatting w AI" any time I had a question answers were short and rushed. Asked about who my doctor would be and they explained "whoever was on call" completely dismissed my birth plan more concerned with explaining the possibility of induction c section and the costs associated. Considering it's my first pregnancy one would assume I'd have a lot of questions and want an experience that feels calm and comfortable. This has not been the case at all. Husband forced to wait in the waiting room during critical ultrasounds and discussions of Birth contract. That Klara app is a crock of crap. Front desk have now gotten both the Nuchal and 20 week appointments scheduled incorrectly and when I tried calling they had no earlier openings never got a call so baby was bigger and harder to read for nuchal. 20 week scheduled at the wrong office two weeks after the appointment we just had which I figured seemed off so I asked front desk if that was an appropriate time blank stare we scheduled a bit later and still not within the range got a confirmation for another office two weeks prior to that date. She was more concerned with her friend behind her chatting about patients than to even bother asking who I was. Too many red flags to count came recommended to this office and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I'm 5 weeks pregnant and over the weekend I started bleeding. I reached out via Klara Sunday night in hopes of getting a response Monday morning. Fast forward, no reply back, so I called twice, first time I got hung up on and the second time, I left a voicemail. By 12pm, I had not heard anything so I followed up on Klara. I was told I should go to the ER. She never provided any appointment times or showed true concern to help me. Had she asked how I was doing today, I would have said the blood slowed down, but instead of helping me, she brushed me off and never replied back. By 3 pm, I still had no call back or response on Klara so I called. Long story short, I was told I could not be seen until 10/21. This is over 2 weeks away. They asked a pregnant women who was bleeding to wait over 2 weeks to be seen. Out of desperation, I called River City OBGYN, who I have never seen, and they got me in for tomorrow. This is all I wanted from Beaches OBGYN who I have supported for a decade. Please beware of their lack of concern and care for your pregnancy.

It's funny because I actually found her on TikTok and googled her office which was less than 20 minutes from my house. I feel like it was meant to be. The receptionist was extremely patient and kind and it really was a great experience (or as great as the OBGYN can be I guess) They're located in Baptist Health Building B (the cancer center), second floor, suite 206)

I was in the office for my first checkup and there was a mom, husband and daughter there getting mom's ultrasound. She tells me her daughter's friend just had CHICKEN POX-her daughter has the fever & they were still letting the little girl come in for the ultrasound...so every door knob that us pregnant women touched are potential carriers for CHICKEN POX in a blessed OB office. There were so many kids and babies in there sniffling I am terrified to go back! When I voiced my concern to the reception desk they rolled their eyes and laughed. WHAT IS GOING ON? The small babies in there haven't even been immunized fully! Yes, but most likely your baby will be born healthy. But some babies may get congenital varicella syndrome. This is a group of birth defects that can include: Scars Problems with muscles and bones Arms or legs that are paralyzed or not formed correctly Blindness Seizures Learning problems Microcephaly. This is a birth defect in which a baby's head is smaller than expected, compared to babies of the same sex and age.

The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly for the most part, but those are the only positive things I can say. I waited over an hour after my scheduled appointment. When I was finally seen by Dr. Boyd she spoke to me in a very unprofessional tone and I felt like I was being rushed out. I understand that the office may have been behind, but after patiently waiting for my turn I would expect a little more respect as a patient/customer. Furthermore, following my visit I received an unexpected bill of over two hundred dollars. I was told the bill was for lab work that was sent to a facility that was not in my insurance network. I don't mind paying, but I would have appreciated communication from the office so I could have been prepared for the charge. It is especially disheartening because my insurance company, which is one of the major insurance companies, has informed me that this would have been fully covered if North Florida Ob/gyn would have simply used a lab in my network.

Things were fine in the beginning, They were all very friendly and made me feel comfortable at my appointments. The last two years I noticed a change in Dr. Boyd's attitude. She was talking to me yet I felt like she was talking down to me a lot. I never left there feeling good about myself. You just don't do that to people. Then I had a bill for $176.00. They wouldn't accept a payment plan from me and wanted the whole payment at once. So that really broke my budget bad! I never went back after that.

This lady has the sensitivity of a concrete block. She spends more time looking at the checkout…read moresheet to add up what she can charge for than actually addressing my concerns. As someone who went in upset and with numerous questions, I was made to feel ashamed, scared and guilty somehow. I now have more questions than answers and my confidence as a woman is at an all time low. I chose an all-woman, older Dr, practice for a reason. Boy, was I in for a surprise. While most businesses want new patients, this office actually charges a fortune to become a new patient, of course this was never mentioned while I made my appointment or filled out paperwork. And there is no such thing as a Follow-up....you will be hit with a $90 Office Visit each time. Knowing I would be paying out of pocket because of a high deductible, I was appalled at the cost for the 2 visits I had 2 days apart and I could do nothing but laugh when I was asked to book another appointment. Both visits total about 7 minutes spent with the Dr. I was actually told she would not provide me with any well-visit services because that was covered by insurance and couldn't be included in a treatment visit (that they could charge me for). For my 2nd (and final) visit she asked generic questions never waiting for an answer. The staff is friendly but it all seemed very "Stepford" and fake. No one seemed to care much when I told them I would not be able to afford to come back next week. I shouldn't have gone back for a 2nd visit.....very expensive financially and emotionally.
